Military leaders make more than 65k a year. They also get their own ship and jet.

Your post upvotes makes MRA's look like dullards. What happened to the MRA's in this forum? Unless it's satire, in which case I'm done in. And I totes' apologize.

Cynicism is acceptable if it's at least tries to be amusing. Upvotes. <3 (Of course, you do understand that the rising weight of America in general implies a systemic problem with our car/burger societal setup, as it would be hilariously idiotic to assume women are stupid/fat inherently despite all evidence showing us it's only been a trend for about 80 years.)

Why.... I'm just flabberghasted. Why would you say "Actually women do have their own urinals, they just dislike them." I mean... You just... You come in acting arrogant like I don't know such a basic concept like that. And yet... I mentioned it already twice in this thread. Even in the OP. Yet.. You still felt the need to mention it as if I was unaware, despite all evidence to the contrary... . Your intellectual technique confuses me. And note the flaw in your statement. None of the urinals inve…

Wow. The idiot's solution to 99% of reddits problems. "If you complain about anything ever, it's your fault for not fixing it yourself, no matter how much money/intelligence it would require." Do you realize how insane a quest it is, to expect me personally to invent a urinal so amazing that the every bathroom in America incorporates one?? Do you realize how insanely high you've set the bar in order for you to not be dismissive? Do you now understand why no one will ever ... EVER take your sugge…

It's a tool system. No one complains about not having bird eyes because binoculars are cheap. People DO complain about not having bird wings because jetpacks are expensive. Get it? So... Women need a better tool to cater to their body. Because normal toilets are seemingly inferior based on men's preference for urinals. And if men are just naturally different, thus their preferences are different, that implies, redpill. So literally... Women need their own form of eco-friendly urinal otherwise th…

I am just hating you to death right now. And no. Men don't like convenience because if they did we wouldn't have entire political parties based around tough love. Another example, the US Navy held a vote if sailors wanted their boots to be pre-polished or not. If it's not pre-polished, you have to spend 2 hours a week self-polishing them. The navy enlisted voted to NOT use the pre-polished one. They specifically chose an inconvenient option. Thus no, "people" do not like convenience. --Note, thi…

You just... HAD to be smug didn't you?? Obviously women shouldn't be expected to conform to a tool designed around men's bodies. !? They should have their own, unless there is none because they truly prefer sitting. IF THEY TRUELY PREFER SITTING: This implies a large difference in men and women,( because men prefer standing.) Thus, a massive victory for redpill if left unexplained beyond smug dismissive fools wallowing in their own denial. It's unbelievable I tell you. How dare you use questions…

Men who don't have lots of sex get insulted endlessly. Women who DO have lots of sex get hateful vitriol. If it was just personal preference, there wouldn't be so many emotionally charged responses when people don't fit the standard mold.

But do you at least agree that her harassers are in the moral wrong? Stapling a $100 bill to my front door will give it a high likelihood of it getting stolen. That doesn't mean I DESERVE to have it stolen or that the person who took it isn't a criminal thief.

You'd be surprised. I know lots of guys, well lonely guys that is, who view dating a stripper as a kind of status symbol. And if he wanted a one-night stand, why take her to a nice steak restaurant? Like, you know it's a lot easier and cheaper to get a girl don't you? I expect a guy to pay if his income his at least 10x greater than mine and he's the one that offered the date rather than me offer him, especially if he is taking me to a place that is far out of my normal budget. Otherwise we can split or I can pay if need be. But then, if you only want to date a woman who doesn't want you to pay, why not say that upfront? Because you know that otherwise you're going to be wasting 10 weeks in a row wining/dining 10 different women trying to find one that fits y…

A point of contention from earlier was that he didn't specifically promise to pay, and people were saying that basic social norms could therefore be ignored. When I argued against this, people chimed in to say the entire argument didn't matter, because clearly she was also lying. Thus I countered, if she was lying, why didn't she go even further to make herself look like even more of a victim. And that leads us here, with you being smug & patronizing, yet seemed to have missed my original point.…

Ok you're right, she totally lied. The story is 100% made up. Of course, my question is, if she is lying, why not go further? Why not just claim he DID promise to pay for her, and THEN refused. Or lets go even further, why didn't she just claim he raped her? Why not?

If he is so socially autistic that he didn't know the basics of dating "If I bring a girl to a restaurant she will PROBABLY order food at said restaurant, and PROBABLY, like all women, expect me to pay." If he can't figure out that most basic of bs, then I can say there is actually a very high likelihood that he DID beg her to go with him specifically because he CANT get laid. He's that pathetic, even with fame/status/money he can't get a girl.

To an extent yes. A woman that accepts date should know that she has an obligation to flirt and fuck the guy. Typically a first date is a freebie, and the woman isn't expected to put out on it. But if after multiple dates she hasn't, yet still expects more dates, then she is an awful manipulative bitch. Any time a chick in my social circle does that sort of thing, she gets dropped from us immediately. That sort of behavior is unacceptable to do to a man. A woman that lies and fucks over a guy is…

So I asked a friend to come to a concert with me, he said sure. We go, have a good time, and at 1am I leave him there stranded. He calls me furious the next day, I reply "Woah woah, didn't you hear logic from iKill_eu? I never said I would take you back home! Who are you to assume I was gonna drive you! Wow! Talk about entitled!" In general, no matter what gender, if a wealthy person brings a poor person to an expensive place, it's a rude move to foot the poor person with the bill. You can disag…

Why would you take the time/effort to ask a girl on a date, bring her to an expensive place, lead her to believe that by accepting this date with you that you will be paying the bill (As is standard practice in Western nations), and then instead surprise her with the bill? Think logically, you know that by doing this she's going to be upset with you and you're not going to get any sex/dating/whatever out of her because of this. So what do you have to gain from doing this?
/r/TheRedPill28/01/14 10:58 AM

Come on now, get over yourself. She's no princess for sure. And I assume he guilt tripped her because that's what she said happened. If you wanna assume she's lying then why not just say the whole thing is made up? You know, it very well may be. I was arguing from the premise that everything she said was true, if it wasn't, then I will change my argument. But, based on the facts I saw before me, that's how I called it. Deal.

Who gives a shit about feminism? Yeah she doesn't need his money (she eventually paid for her own meal didn't she?), but it's still a shitty thing to SURPRISE HER with the bill. If you wanna go dutch, you mention that upfront. If he had a problem with those kinds of prices he either should have... A: Gone to a less pricey restaurant. B: Said "Hey I'm not going to be able to pay for all this." And it's not that she saw him as just money, if all she cared about was money she would of jumped to get…

Taking a girl to dinner and then surprising her that you aren't paying is pretty shitty, especially when you're income is 200x more than hers. If he didn't want to pay he should of said he wasn't going to from the get go. That's just basic socialization. Reminds me of when an uncle told the whole extended family they could come visit a ranch of his friend's for a big family reunion, and that everything would be paid for. Various Middle East Countries also support gender reassignment surgeries. In fact, feminists historically have been VERY anti-trans. Go look up "The Transsexual Empire" book on Amazon. Feminists believe that trans women are secret agents of the patriarchy designed to spy on them.

Actually most Trans/gender queer activists include cross dressers under the trans umbrella. So the victim in question isn't cis. This is a big reason why men's rights issues tend to sync up heavily with trans/gender queer issues actually. Genderqueer =/ transgender. Saying Men, Women, and Genderqueer would be ok. Calling all trans people a 3rd gender however is not acceptable. Trans is NOT a sex/gender just like cis is NOT a sex/gender.
/r/MensRights19/11/12 03:45 AM

I know that gender is self identified. Men/Women = Gender Male/Female = Sex. Ergo, when they say "men, women, and trans" they are saying that trans is a separate gender from men & women.
/r/MensRights19/11/12 12:05 AM

Go over to any trans subreddit and tell trans women they aren't women, trans men they aren't men, because they're a 3rd gender instead, and see how well that plays out for you.

Your video punishes guys for not being stereotypically masculine and heterosexual. I can't wait to hear how Tesla and Hawking aren't real men because they didn't have enough confidence and muscle mass. Because that's what determines manhood. Right. MR is partially about freeing men from gender roles that's says they must always pay for dates, work outside the home, and die in foreign wars. MR is Not just punishing the men you deem to be "too feminine."
/r/MensRights20/09/12 08:10 AM

It is ridiculous. It is just another BS gender rule. Women are shamed if they have sex. Men are shamed if they DONT have sex. People need to step back and ask themselves when insulting someone "Would it be OK if the other gender were doing it?" And if the answer is yes they should stop. I hate it when a feminist gets it right that "slut shaming" women is wrong but turns around and virgin shames a guy.

Consider that in a feminist space, the worse off you are, the more speaking power you have. Call it marginalization points if you will. If a you're female, a person of color, poor, disabled, a rape 'survivor,' non-cis, non-straight, etc, you get more authority and respect. This is why so many feminists go out of their way to claim some victimhood status. "He rubbed his crotch against my leg, that counts as rape. Gender hipster is basically a pretend-GenderQueer. Also could be called Gendertrender. Similar to how straight chicks sometimes pretend to be bi in order to get LGB points, there are cis women who pretend to be trans/queer in order to get "points" in their feminist/lesbian/Queer/etc clubs. It is a slang word, thus it has no concrete definition, but some general things to look for would be stuff like "I am neither gender, but use female pronouns for me and I still count as a lesbian." "My gender …

As for the die cis scum stuff. r/transgender unanimously hates that phrase, its something only gender hipsters use, ugh its so bad... Your right. If a guy is hurt he just needs to MAN up and stop complaining. But two things: A violent vigilante act doesn't have to be the ONLY way to right a situation like this. Verbal shaming might be all you need for example. And... People can do evil acts without being evil overall, thus the word still fits.

You gotta do something when you get cheated on. If a guy did this I'd support him. Getting cheated on is more painful than getting kicked in the gut. I think Wavooka was talking about people who change their gender in a legal/social sense. Example, there's a Marine up in New Jersey who was assigned as female due to a typo error. Because NJ won't fix this error, he is now unable to get a driver's license, and thus can't find work. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/man_sues_city_over_identification_j119RfgrQh9ib6Y6QTe0HK It can get even more complex with intersex/trans individuals. Indeed. Privilege was created in feminist spaces just like the word "sexism" was because historically it has been men with the privilege. That doesn't mean that there can never be such a thing as female privilege just like it's crazy to say "It is impossible for a woman to be sexist." But let's not kid ourselves. Yeah cisnormative can be a word, but anything can be "normative" if it's viewed as the norm. Righthandnormative: How society assumes people are generally right-handed. One could argue for example that at domestic violence shelters there exists a femnormative, hence how they have 0 resources available for men despite that they make up 50% of the population. Just to clarify: The _severin guy wasn't saying refusing to date a trans woman was a problem- he was saying the REASON was the problem, namely that "trans women are men." So if someone were to say "I want to fuck a trans woman because she's actually a man," that would be EQUALLY transphobic.

This is definitely an interesting subject. Perhaps it was the wording of the title that caught some roving anti-MRAs' attention?

"Transgendered men" is considered a slightly insulting form of "transgender men," Surely then, "cisgendered male" should ALSO be a slightly insulting form of "cisgender male?"

So if someone says "upvote me" does that make you want to upvote them? :3

Google has been getting praise lately for being pro LGBT, pro Gender Queer, and even pro Transgender. It's a predictable shame that they are not pro cis straight men as well.

I would only support the college "treating them special" if its in similar terms to stuff like wheel chair ramps for disabled people. Only in situations where it's needed, but I'm unsure where trans people would actually need... "special privileges" at college? Whatever.
/r/MensRights06/11/11 07:05 AM

Any trans person that tries to say "transgender" is it's own 3rd gender is just ridiculous. Maybe if it was genderqueer or SOMETHING. Sheesh. Most trans people would be pissed if some organization called them a "3rd gender" and now these college kids are praising it. Rage.

Ugh, college kids... activists.

Hmm damn, well to be honest I think that thread is more along the lines of "If you were banging Jessica Alba, at that point her being trans or not doesn't matter" rather than "All trans women are as hot as Jessica Alba." (Though honestly I just skimmed it so I may have missed stuff for sure.)
/r/MensRights06/11/11 02:08 AM

Damn that is insane. Are there any quotes/links from people here on reddit saying that? Or has it been said elsewhere?

Yeah but check out those upvotes that "idiot" is getting. Looks to me like /mensrights agrees with him more so than disagrees. Surely you're not implying that /mensrights as a whole is transphobic?!

It sounded like they were given priority because the other dorms didn't allow them. Kinda like how some dorms aren't wheelchair accessible so the ones that are would give priority to wheelchair bound folks. If they are inventing a 3rd gender that's BS, but if they are giving them priority due to like... a medical condition of being "in the middle of transition" that makes more sense.

Well not really. I mean if they had 10lbs of excess fat, lost it, then regained it up to 15lbs, they created 5 new pounds but they didn't get morbid heh. But it doesn't really matter, either way it's irrelevant to the point I was making. =p
/r/MensRights16/10/11 06:28 PM

Interestingly, when a person loses weight, fat cells, once created, merely shrink instead of dying. They never actually "go away." (This is also a big reason why it's very very easy to regain weight. Because the 2nd/3rd/etc time around the fat cells merely need to expand rather than be created outright.) So genetically, even if they were in amazing shape, they could still be called fat. Kind of like a trans person huh? =p
/r/MensRights16/10/11 01:44 AM

Nah, it's mainly the implications that are the problem..
/r/MensRights04/10/11 03:05 PM

Well there can also be "environmental factors" such as the mother being on a certain diet during crucial stages of development. A high diet in soy would produce lots of estrogen in the womb.

/r/MensRights19/09/11 07:17 PM

Yeah yeah I know. I just interchange them out of habit. =p Well, anyway. Even you agreed that chromosomes accounts for only 99.9% of people. (Which most articles agree with, stating that intersex conditions exist in about .1% of the population) So .1% of 6 billion people is 6 million people. And .1% of America's 300 million is 300,000 people. That's still quite a bit. Chromosomes can not account for 100% of gender, thus they are not the only determiner of gender.
/r/MensRights19/09/11 06:38 PM
1

A major factor for certain, but not the end-all-be-all, and as medical science continues to improve, it shall become less relevant (though still important) in determining sex/gender. Hell, even now people are beginning to test out flooding the womb with estrogen or testosterone to help influence the gender of the child.
/r/MensRights19/09/11 11:39 AM
1

Uhh it's not disputed? You're putting wayyy too much stock in mere chromosomes, they are not the end-all-be-all determiners of gender, merely one of many factors. There have been XY women who have gotten pregnant and given birth. What's more female than that? By the way, here's some more info on your original post: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_verification_in_sports
/r/MensRights18/09/11 02:08 PM

The Olympics actually DOES have a policy on how to divide genders. They realized back in the 60's though that making it chromosome based was inaccurate because it banned XY women but allowed in XX women despite that many of those XX women were much more masculine & muscular than the XY women.
/r/MensRights16/09/11 03:27 PM

And what happens when a trans woman gets beaten by her boyfriend and needs a shelter? And what about trans men? You can't seriously say trans women are a danger to cis women, but trans men are super safe by comparison. And we haven't even started about intersex people yet.

If you read the beginning paragraphs of her article, you'll note how she's claiming herself to be a victim BECAUSE other feminists have called her out. She is still a feminist, her group would be called radical second wave/Womyn-born-Womyn Feminism. She does unfortunately hold a lot of influence though, as a lot of (not a majority but still a lot of) feminists generally treat the transphobe feminists as "Well I don't like that they're transphobic but I like everything else they do so I'll still …

You'd have to go and read the actual column... http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/jan/31/gender.weekend7 You'll note she promotes tired incorrect stereotypes of why trans people transition. Not to mention she went further. Not content with just arguing against trans people, she mocks, belittles, and insults them throughout her article as well. THAT'S why she got called transphobic.
/r/MensRights16/09/11 03:01 PM

I agree with your first part but... Uhh, the trans woman isn't just talking about hatred of men. Most trans women will tell you that, when they pass as female, they find they do typically get less respect from men AND other women. It may have sounded like she was just bashing men, but that isn't the case. Example: Women DO judge other women based on how they think that woman appeals sexually to straight guys. In many cases for example, it is women who will harp on other women for not wearing mak…

Even then, she still doesn't have a good argument, because most trans people that transition do not become a stereotype of gender. The belief that a trans man transitions so that he can be a gruff straight dude instead of a girly girl doesn't coincide with the reality that there are many trans men who become effeminate gay guys or genderqueer even. Even if gender roles are 100% social construct, it doesn't matter because gender identities have nothing to do with gender roles.
/r/MensRights16/09/11 02:28 PM

Transexualism does not promote the idea that it is natural for boys to play with with guns and girls to play with barbie dolls. The belief that trans women are just gay effeminate men, or that trans men are just butch lesbians is not based in reality. There are trans men & women who are gay, straight, bi, and pan. And there are trans men &women who are feminine, masculine, butch, and queer. Your hobbies and your romantic orientations have nothing to do with your gender identity. Unless you can s…

They would argue that the homeless guy has privilege in comparison to a homeless gal. Though that may not be true, women have some benefits over men. Women have a harder time being seen as leaders, but an easier time being helped when in trouble. As for what makes someone a certain gender, yeah it's confusing. Haha. I personally base it off "Sum of parts" idea. Instead of looking for one specific thing that makes you male or female, I say it's a combination of things. So whichever you have a maj…

I think assuming your better/deserve better comes with the territory when you are self-loathing/jealous. A lot of trans-hating feminists compare the difference between men and women to the difference of being rich and poor. Thus to them a trans woman is like a rich person choosing to be poor, there HAS to be an ulterior motive.

I agree with you, great post, but would like to make a quick correction, because it threw me off... You mention how she hates "transgendered males." A MtF is generally labeled as a transgender woman/trans female/etc. (Alternatively, a FtM, such as Chaz Bono, is a trans male/transgender man.) Again, other than that little thing, good stuff.

The comments in question have a massive amount of downvotes, and there are no repliers showing support for the messages. But let's assume that EVERYONE in TransphobiaProject DOES support those comments. r/TP is a subsection of transgender which is a subsection of LGBT. r/TP has 500 subscribers, LGBT has 28,000. Surely you can see the problem of blaming ALL of LGBT for this right?

Based on the comment replies to it, it looks like that's how most people interpreted it. Oh well, apology accepted, just get someone to revise it and make a shorter/better written version.

Tawfiq7 did a good job of coming to the defense of MRA's. You on the other hand just wanted to attack feminism by posting a TL;DR 3 page essay on "how all feminists are stupid & bad." Usually that alone doesn't get someone banned from transphobiaproject, but apparently you have a bad history with a lot of the people there.

Haha well, to expand on my above post, here is my personal philosophy: "Anything that makes you different from the norm is a flaw, unless you're good at it, then that difference will be one of your greatest strengths." That can be applied to any difference, not just being trans. Depending on how you present it people will either look at you with amusement/disgust, or with awe/curiosity. But really, aspects of your identity are a bit like fashion, it's all about how you present them. If you ask p…

If you're right how come you're the only one that agrees with you? I mean hell, you aren't even on a transgender board, surely you should be able to find SOME support if you are on the side of logic & reason.

Yes but that's because with schitzophrenia generally their whole mental functioning isn't working properly. For transgender people who come from all walks of life, and who are mentally stable in all areas of their life except for their dysphoria, merely arguing that ALL of them must just have a disorder/delusion is illogical. And the APA has done more than "note its existence." They have actively studied it and after numerous alternatives even found a treatment: Allowing the person access to hor…

Well yeah heh. There is also the mental wisdom aspect, in that we understand men and women moreso than most cis people ever will just on account of living as both for a period of our lives. But aside from that, it's all just your mindset. You either say "I am a trans woman, therefore flawed." Or you say "I am a trans woman, therefore amazing." I mean take a look at Oprah. She was an African American Woman, was told she had a weird-shaped face, and had an odd name. She felt these things would pre…

Well-documented in that it has been a researched field in psychology for over 100 years with many types of therapies & treatments tested and massive amounts of data collected. Sorry, but if you really want to argue that Gender Identity Dysphoria is on the same level as wanting to be an animal, you'll have to argue with the APA, not me.

It's just what I've heard cis women mention on forums. There are a number of cis-girls who would want to remain completely female looking, but have cocks. Then there are, as you know, LOTS of guys, and some girls, who fantasize about getting with pre-op trans woman, hence the whole "trap" phenomenon. As for general jealousy, it's a lot of little things. Example: consider that the average trans woman is taller than the average cis woman. Also you'll note that whenever a trans woman posts her pict…

Well no one disagrees with the notion that trans women can't get pregnant and can't give birth. But despite that, trans women, like infertile women, are still women.

He is incorrect, condescending, and insulting. It's not in the post you're replying to, but when he refers to trans people as "trannies" ...Well that's pretty much like calling a white person "whitey" or black person "blackey."

What?
/r/MensRights25/04/11 03:42 AM

Even with your re-wording, TraumaPony still ends up correct. One could easily use the sentence "only those who are women can give birth" to say infertile women therefore aren't women.
/r/MensRights25/04/11 03:39 AM

I can make analogies too. :3 If a person is born rather chubby but later on loses weight and gets themselves in shape do you still call them fat? If you want to argue genetics, trans individuals typically have brains shaped the same as the brains of the gender they identify as. Since we are our brains/minds/souls, not our bodies, one could argue that a trans-man did NOT transition from female to male; they were ALWAYS male, they were just female-bodied originally.
/r/MensRights25/04/11 03:36 AM

Well to be fair, if it's something that obviously makes you very insecure, you should bring it up. And the fact that you assume most women would be offended kinda shows you have some sort of assumption of inferiority going on. I know a lot of cis women who wish and fantasize that they could be "traps." :p
/r/MensRights25/04/11 03:26 AM

I myself blame the media portrayal of trans women. Every time in a movie/tv show that a guy gets with a girl who turns out to be trans, his response is always supposed to be one of horror and self-loathing. That encourages the audience to think in the same way. As long as they keep up with that stereotypical trope, it will always be your logic & reason vs the cis guy's emotion & wild rationalizations.
/r/MensRights25/04/11 03:15 AM

You're more scared of indiscriminate violence because you aren't black, trans, or disabled. :p If you really want to learn more about why hate crimes were invented you should go study up on the subject, they weren't simply made for crimes where the assailant was angry. Those are called "crimes of passion."
