Men value women, women value security

IDK about more rewarding but at least it’s the more honest one

I’m not going to debate you because I agree with most of what you said at the end. If you re-read there’s no reference to a divide between sexes, or even a mention of women, only a focus on men’s condition. That this is anti-feminist is once again your assumption. I’ll just say because I post about how disposable men are doesn’t mean this is an anti-feminist post, just as much as post about women’s right doesn’t necessarily equate to anti-men. I’m not your enemy, the institutions and culture we …

I have no animosity towards the opposite sex. This isn’t a relationship rant

I’m sorry to hear that brother. Things can’t be bad forever, one day at a time

Interesting how the women here comment as if this is a relationship post when what I’m really talking about is how society values men. That includes relationships yes but also work, economics, politics, culture and education. Many of those areas is where we are overwhelming valued primarily for our utility and where how we see ourselves doesn’t really matter because these institutions are much bigger than any single one of us

we are all disposable, men and women This is probably closer to the truth but since it’s a men’s sub my view was one-sided…

It makes me happy for you. I can’t say I agree or it’s motivating but thank you for caring.

Take it from someone who’s been married for 20 years, lost and reestablished frame more times than I care to admit. She sounds like a good woman. This isn’t a lost cause and would be a waste to throw away. Work on your confidence, build yourself back up, concentrate on leading your life and she’ll follow. And if she doesn’t someone else will

I have a son that’s ODD and disrespect comes with the territory. You can’t react to it, that doesn’t mean tolerate it. Outline clear boundaries, consequences and stick to them religiously. Warning about the consequences as a direct consequence of their behavior sometimes helps curb it, but not always. Consistency is key, dont Chang punishment or reaction (but make sure it’s something that affects them). Eventually they’ll capitulate, but that might not be for some time. You need to divorce yours…

Oh no argument there. Both should be prosecuted to the highest… but it sounds like they had to give her something to get a bad cop off the street.

But she also had 40 years for second degree rape. She originally had 72 years. Sounds like she didn’t get off easy, she took a plea deal to turn on her husband. That’s the way I’m reading this

Why would you assume it’s a one year sentence. Did I miss something? The article says she’s facing 41 years and only that because she took a plea deal to implicate her husband who is a sheriffs deputy and SHOULD be held to a higher standard

I'm familiar with dread levels 6-8 in regards to my wife or spinning plates... but how do these apply to coworkers? I have no intention or desire to PUA this lady, nor do I think it would it be a good career move. Thanks for the book recommendation.

Unfortunately I've been gaslighting it and the problem still persists. Partially as a tactic and partially because the events she described have no meaning to me... so they don't even register. In fact I can't even believe this level of immaturity exists where this is an issue... yet here I am. Thanks for your suggestion.

She's a direct team member. I already limit my interactions with her but from now on I'll be dealing with her via email and my handy voice recorder (as someone previously suggested)

First time post on OYS Mind Reading born to run. Finished no more mr nice guy. Honestly I didn't get that much out of it. Had a hard time identifying with the examples. Guess I'm not that nice haha. Next to finish the rational male Body Bp 240, SQ 329, DL 373. My weight remains at 202 +-2lbs. Holding my calories at 1800 on rest days. Still progressing on bench, squats and deadlifts. However I'm struggling on arms workouts. Considering moving arms to its own day rather than at the end of workouts…

I'm ready to own my shit. I'm ready to swallow the red pill. I want to shed my beta-mind and be my family's alpha. Don't wait around for a mentor to swallow the pill. Owning your shit is step one. Good to see these back on MRP. Still here and following your blog as well. Thanks for all you do. I've done every assignment, up to 2 sets of 50 push-ups. I let my reading and visualizations slip a bit and need to get better at that.... struggling with finding enough time in the day for everything. That's not an excuse, just a reality I need to work on. Thankfully I gave up porn a while ago, I game my wife frequently and I've gotten to the point where my wife now games me - otherwise rule #1 wou…

Fuck. I'm floored. As I'm reading this I'm experiencing both grief and elation imagining my family's death and resurrection. I tried to stay there but I immediately began tearing up. Gonna have to go someplace private to do this... That's a tough one.

Excellent tip! Is there an issue with looking up? I work in a creative field so I'm always being asked to think outside the box. I find myself looking up a lot. I've read somewhere looking up is signal of accessing higher cognitive functions.

Eyes! This is my problem. I'll look at the nose, lips, chin, head... anything but directly in the eyes for very long. It's always made me uneasy... like someone's going to see to much of me, strip away the outer layer of bullshit and see weakness. Also I can't comprehend someone as well because I'm too busy forcing myself to hold gaze. I need to work on this, like ASAP

"My pursuit of accomplishment had me headed toward a life of isolation." This is me. Pursuing excellence in career and my family and moving have led me to zero social life outside my wifes friends. Bad position to be in. My goal for this month and beyond is to establish male friendships and have a guys night out once a week. I've been attending some professional networking events and run out to the bar by myself at times. It's very hard to make new friends as an adult in a new area. Hopefully th…

Push-ups done. We purge on a regular basis and I had a truck load of needless stuff sitting in the back. This post gave me the motivation to just get rid of it... thanks!

Hello. First time commenting here. Ive been following for about 6 months now and I love this challenge. Leg day and 100 push-ups done this morning. I've been shooting for sets of 40, but pushing for an extra one each day. Still reading nnmng so I've been running through 4-5 pages a night. Perfect day for this challenge. Usually it's movie night but tonight we have plans to attend a family party. They'll be food, music, suits and dresses. The kids will be up late and having fun and I'll be gaming…
