Dude, watch it. It's not a feminist film, it's the product of feminist ideas that women aren't useless, it's not in your face at all and it's also one of the best action movies ever made. These guys who feel threatened by characters in a movie are being ridiculous.

I agree, a columnist actually got a lot of flak last year for saying pretty much the same thing

It's true that marriage only really ever benefited men when it was essentially an agreement that the woman was going to be his property, which really has no place in modern society. Now that has passed, but the benefits for women have remained, so it's not difficult to see why so many girls want to get hitched while guys are starting to become hesitant. It's a pity that marriage is probably the best option in the case that you ever want kids though, I know I benefitted a lot from my parents bein…

As a controversial sub, it's probably best to filter out stuff that could be used as a scapegoat for deletion.

I went to an all boys school, I don't think it matters dude. Alphas are Alphas and Betas are Betas, if anything it makes Betas more Beta because they have no experience with girls AT ALL growing up so they pedestal them even more.

This just looks to me like a feminist getting frustrated about a man being seen as desirable because it goes against their entire rhetoric, I wouldn't pay it any mind.

If we interacted with sharks as much as we interact with men, I'm pretty sure the former statistic would be much higher.

It's basically because the LTR value of each gender is determined by different things. Men are judged on social status, of which multiple sexual partners is a positive contributor. Women are judged on sexuality, of which multiple partners means they're less of a catch and therefore less worthy of commitment.
