Ah gotcha, it makes more sense in the preselection context. But doesn't it open you up for more shit tests about counts? I always thought keeping the past tucked away upped mysteriousness

Also that was a little self depreciation ish sounding, but intended as a joke. Of course it's actually for me

I'm actually reading it as we speak which is what directed me to ask this question. Which section?

You seem like an idealist whose hopes keep getting crushed. I was the same, constant depression, self doubt, anxiety over stupid shit. At least that's what I used to be, before I became an all out cynic - then people just didn't want to be around me because it made them depressed too. At that point I was always complaining about some perceived "injustice" in the world or shortcoming with humanity. Face it, this is all completely unproductive mental gymnastics that does nothing to improve your QO…

Make yourself look good for entry applications and apply for every fucking scholarship that's available, starting with local first, then move to others. Your administration or guidance office should have a shortlist of applications. Especially look for essays, kids are fucking lazy and won't even apply for those, so if you're halfway decent you'll get them. College debt sucks, minimize it the best you can. While you're doing that, lift, study stoicism, and read TRP sidebar material. Make women y…

Her: "How many girls have you slept with?" You: "69" Her: No really You: Arnold Schwarzenegger voice "I don't do requests" Her: It's not happening if you don't tell me You: low Arnold Schwarzenegger voice "You're damaged goods lady" show her the door

You're missing a defined end state, so your goals are useless until you know what you want. Your goals all need to clearly lead to achieving your primary end state. You need to do your research and see what's out there. Try to answer "who what when where why how" as it applies to your life. Who: For me, I want to be independent, my own boss not having to answer to anyone. That is my #1 priority because I don't see myself being able to achieve happiness slaving away for someone else through my en…

I think maybe I'm projecting so I'm going to backpedal a bit. Re-reading my response, it seems hostile which I originally didn't intend, I am just angry at the education system, not trying to come across as an asshole. Anyway, I'm just saying people who go to college are sold a crock of lies with regard to degree choice... particularly in that we are told to pursue what gives us the tingles and less so what will afford higher chances of success. This is how I feel about my own experience so shou…

You were fed the bullshit when it comes to your degree choice and now it has come back to haunt you. You can either go into business, go back to school, or work for your dad. I'd make the choice on an opportunity cost basis. Which is going to make you the most money over the long haul? If you go back to school you will incur costs while sacrificing earnings. How is your father a narcissist? Realize that the natural state of a father son relationship places you subservient - why would you think o…

The book "When I Say No I Feel Guilty" has some good discussion about depression. I'd recommend getting the audio book and listening to it while you cook, do laundry, commute, etc. Good shit, it's helped me if only by understanding what depression is and the evolutionary utility of it. Also, stop quibbling to your female friends. Go see a doctor.

Your free testosterone matters more than anything in that test FYI, like others have said, establish a good baseline as one test will not necessarily be representative.

It sounds like you have confidence issues and that you are being passive. Neither states are going to help you. Either way though, you don't demonstrate to us why you are kind of a loser. You have to know what the problem is first to fix it. For confidence, what workout program are you on? Check out Stronglifts 5x5 if you aren't lifting weights. What is your diet like? Start cooking good shit to feel better and be in the common area and make casual conversation with them. Don't try to win their …

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one learning from experience in that regard. I've been friendly to her since getting called out, will gradually transition to the slow freeze, she's moving in the next year anyway most likely

I've been ascribing to stoicism for a while (longer than red pill) and I agree, I can see how it would be an especially powerful framework to live when combined with a red pill mindset. I will revisit my study and check out those other topics too thanks

I suspected this was what I need to do. I'm recognizing now that treading the line between friendly and professional for a while and slowly fading will serve me better than an abrupt change.

Agreed. I think part of my prior problem is the legitimate scarcity where I live, and I'm stuck in it until my military commitment is up. Once I can move to a place that doesn't suck balls I'm sure I'll be fine, but looks like I need to focus on personal growth and bide my time till then.

I understand it's long as shit, just trying to understand the behavior, I'm not under the impression she's salvageable or worth it. Thanks for the words nonetheless brother
