I don't really know how much influence they have in other womens' situations - I was just talking from personal experience (not trying to discount any data or anything). I imagine that if it puts you in a bad financial position, you'll be less inclined to get divorced, and if it puts you in a good financial position, you might be more inclined to divorce (if you were already considering divorce). A lot of people here are saying for the money... But as a woman, I couldn't string someone along for an entire marriage and divorce for money. I know it happens with some sugar babies, and some women (and people generally) are horrible like that, but it's so fake and cruel that I can't imagine that's the reason for most of them. Why don't you just ask her. E.g. do you think this will lead to a real romantic relationship... Or something along those lines. It's a pretty standard thing to ask if you don't know how she's feeling about it. Either way, you should definitely stop paying the whole bill. It's a nice gesture on the first date and all, but realistically, she will know whether she likes you or not by now, and if she likes you then she should be willing to split the bill. Don't just get played into buying free dinne…
