If you like this i would also recommend some of the other 'founding fathers' content. Still pretty accessible now. Totally agree. Paul has a great message.

I became unable to watch his content over the past few years. I never agreed with most of his economics and politics but would watch on occasion. I never felt like he considered himself representative of mgtow. I agree with you ..if you are correct on that point. As much as I am not a fan..his Alexander Grace response video was phenomenal. I believe it has been lost so much appreciated if anyone locates it.

You are thinking about what women want? Is this the way you are going? I cannot remember the last time I spent 20 seconds thinking about any female much less what they are thinking about. Is this part of your plan or direction? Timebox this sh!t asap and start going your own way.

You are not going to 'outsmart' your biology no matter how many posts you read or videos you watch. Just play the game and deal with women. Mgtow isn't for all men.

All these questions make it seem like you are putting alot of pressure on yourself. Most of the ideas and goals I had for myself when I was 15 changed significantly by the time I was 19. So don't feel pressured to try and solve alot of problems or establish your life plan right now. You are already asking questions in a manner that most of your peers aren't so consider yourself ahead of the curve already.

"Well, let's create a thread fully dedicated to the men who've been hurt by the Divorce courts, false accusations and the rest of the grief caused by the beastly system." These are MRA issues, not mgtow issues. I'm a bit of a mgtow purist/founding fathers kind of guy so I may be looking at this differently.

At your age I dont believe your biology is going to submit to the psychology that you have derived from mgtow. Its not for everyone. In my unpopular opinion its for very few men. I'm sure you have leaned a great deal. You may want to consider a relationship but do so with a red pill in your back pocket..protecting yourself when obvious situations arise.

I'm with OP on this one. This should not be the forum to introduce men to mgtow. At the moment this sub is infested with the perpetual 'thots hit the wall lol' types and r/mgtow refugees which leads to inanity.

One thing I've noticed with myself on this is hydration. It doesn't seem like it would relate but it does for me for some reason. If I'm not taking the amount of water I should them I find myself craving sweets. Probably not an actual solution within your plan..but possibly a footnote.

Mgtow is about doing what you want to do irrespective of what women, biology, and our society have prioritized. Of all the pursuits and crafts available..you landed on dating. Spending money on females. I may be all alone here but I dont understand the value and benefits.

• How do your male friends who are in couples react? Mgtow is not for the uninitiated. I share with no man unless I see significant red pill symptoms which is almost never. • Do you still manage to see them? Do you still manage to go out with guys without their girlfriends? Occasionally. I can still enjoy time with 'couple friends' so I dont have any kind of gender ban in effect. The females just think I am some kind of bachelor and Occasionally try and set me up with their friends. Its funny..I…

Sounds like you are libertarian leaning and you will likely be happier here..in that regard. I live in the southeastern united states. Indians have been very successful here with small business start up and tech trained Indians can be successful within corporations. One thing that helps me is making sure I'm well hydrated. I'm not much of a water guy so I buy lots of miyo and put it in my water. I just notice that when I'm not drinking alot my body does weird things and doesn't function 100%. Including cravings related to caffeine and sugars.

I like Brett Weinstein's take on this. His background is not virology but he does come from a evobio background and I'm pretty sure he has studied chiropterology by way of graduate research. (If im recalling the podcast conversation accurately). Its my opinion his intelligence coupled with the above background to makes him some type of expert on the topic. I think you are asking the right questions but in my opinion may be being a little too optimistic about the conclusion. I have kids and chose to leave my marriage but I saw lots of other marriages that were demonstrably 'worse' than mine which very much had me going out on a limb. Here is another way you might look at it. You say your mom would never cheat on your dad. I'm inclined to believe that and let's say that its true. What else makes the marriage so great? How busy does your mom keep you…

Thats a pretty good list. Several years ago Stardusk challenged the notion and data of married men being more 'healthy' than non married. I should be able to dig it up pretty quickly if anyone is interested.

This happened to my father so sorf of the opposite situation. He remarried about 10 years ago and has become consumed serving her and her children. Has no time for his own grandchildren. I can be mad about it or I can move forward in life which is what I've chosen to do. I dont put much "blame" on my stepmother. He made the choice to get married and submit to her. In the situation you described I would say the same. I dont blame the wife for being a female. He makes his choices everyday.

Interesting topic. You've got me by about 10 years as my teenage years were filled with heavy metal(complete supplicating simp lyrics) and original gangsta rap(alot of bravado and feigned player themes). I never paid too much attention to the lyrics when I was a kid. But its interesting to do so now and see how pathetic alot of them were. I wonder if that can be said for most popular music.

I think an answer you can derive from some of the responses is that the definition varies. The thread has sortof covered the cohab and sex aspect but I believe there is an age component. I've been consuming this content for quite awhile and whenever I hear monk I associate it with some of the elder content creators. Whiskey Stills uploaded a vid a few minutes ago with 'monk' in the title. I've always considered him a monk. Same with Vention. Might just be my perspective.

My gut reaction, mgtow isn't for you. It's not for all men. You can come back later if you can get control of your biology. Dont get caught up with all the blue pill guilt. Go do your thing. 99.9 percent of men are in that camp so don't wreck yourself trying to make yourself something your not(right now).

While I disagree with 30203's recommendation, I agree with his suppositions. I work for a financial corporation and gay employees are often fast tracked into management positions and any performance management actions due to poor performance are deliberately overlooked. Often a good post can be gauged by the quality of responses. There are some real good ones here. I think ultimately we are revisiting the question of what mgtow means individualisticaly. Lots of different views and I think that's a good thing. For me I think all men should never stop 'going their own way'. I've become quite bored with introspections on modern relationships and have moved on to societal and cultural aspects of gmow. So for me I dont think I could ever make the intellectual compro…

My suggestion for overcoming rage is an intellectual pursuit. When I listen to the ragers they tend to be hyper focused on the behavior of women and their gynocentric society. I explored historic feminism in depth as well as evolutionary psychology and arrived at certain conclusions. These conclusions suggests there really isn't anything to blame on anyone. So I just filed it under yet another life realization.

I recommend exploring the online content of stardusk. While he had very different life paths than you he has expressed being 'dead inside', without feelings in a sense and viewing everything 'in bits' as a result. I'm extrapolating some of what he has described in what you are describing. I have experienced some of this myself. In your description I didnt see any type of moralistic evaluation of where you landed. Do you feel like the sum of this experience is good, bad, or more of a sense of neu…

I see many similarities so I would agree with the notion of 'like minded'. I would point out that religion for me became a by product of going my own way. Once I discovered the true nature of women it allowed me to understand the true nature of my gender. I then began applying that to other aspects of my life. I asked..what else have I bought into only because my society and culture told me to? Religion was at the top of my list. Another on the list pertains to your #5. I came to these realizati…

LB said it well. You dont want to depend on anyone..that's broad but it's a good parameter. The things you listed as ideas are you for discover. The gym has been important to me for the past 30 years but you might not be into it. I would recommend some type of exercise. Money..maybe. depending on what you want to do with it. You need usually to be successfully with women and to impress your society. If neither concern you then you get to decide why you would need alot of it.

'I'm truly getting sick and tired of the direction we are now taking.' You can take political activist type action. Join the MRAs. You can splash around and carry on about it. Join the red pill ragers in r/mgtow. You can truly go your own way. But there is no team. Just your own reflection in the mirror.

1998 accord. Bone stock. I paid $1100 for it 5 years ago. It looks like hell. Never really thought about what women think of it. Come to think of it, it's been a few years since I've considered the opinion of women on pretty much anything.

I would answer yes overall. Speaking for myself and at least a good many mgtow, I dont think religion is an intellectual compromise that we can make. We understand the truth about the natures of both genders and we extrapolate/apply that truth to many other aspects of culture and society. Religion tends to be one of those things that we can no longer participate in just because many around us do, because it alleviates the fear of mortality, etc. Not saying those are the only reason someone holds…

Stardusk warned the manosphere very early on about Sandman and the long term implications of this type of content. He contested that Sandman was marketing mgtow devoid of any real dives into data and ignored any self reflective aspects of the information. Sandman responded by calling him an elitist, they argued back and forth for a bit. They went back to their corners and have pretty much been there ever since. MGTOW is not for everyone. There is no reason you cant enter a relationship or do whatever you wish. Will you have to compromise? Of course. There are men who are married and still acknowledge their biology, etc but still find ways to pursue their hobbies and personal goals.

I would say most men around here had a simp past. I certainly did. If you are young I suggest not beating yourself up over it. An attraction to a female even when she is not into you is very normal and it does no good to brand yourself a simp. My suggestion for this situation is to scale back your interaction with her and fade to ghost. Then just be wary of you telling yourself it's ok to interact with her with this hobby 'because you are just friends'.

I think alot of the criticism is not that men are not due a RPR phase, but it has gotten to the point where it is not a phase. It's become a perpetual state. Agree. It's so vague it becomes a mirror for all of us. When I first saw it it made me think of the behavior of a complete psycho I was dating. I agree, for additional reasons. I had no problem with my divorce which I admit may be uncommon. Good quote. It reminds me of an old Messenger Rising/Lazarus video in speaking to the blue pulled world/man: "I dont want the things that you want... I dont want the things that you've got."

I think there is a difference. Going to speak on my percieved contrast between the two subs. And the "own" I. The mgtow acronym. When you truly go your own way you are focused on your crafts, other intrinsic aspects of your life, and stoic conversation with brethren. This sub does give some attention to those that are female obsessed. Both the blue pills who worship and the Anti Feminist First Responders of mgtow2 who hate women. (That's my opinion..not the perspective of this sub). But it doesn…

I'm seeing a distinction here with anger and actual red pill rage. Which I agree exists. While I never had an actual RPR phase, I think it's quite ok and an important phase. I have sympathy for those who go through this for months or years on end. "The red pill isn't for all men".

I'm a gen-x that had a 17ish year marriage, several kids. One of my biggest (unconscious) mistakes was that I had a boomer mindset with marriage. I had this generalized wish for marriage and kids and my own parents had a very peaceful marriage. I recall being very arrogant in my view of my relationship and my partner. It was like this impervious mindset that there was no way it could ever end. I cant explain it completely but have heard it mentioned by a few content providers.

Just like all of us he is in a journey and his content is a reflection. He has a massive library so its sometimes hard to find something specific you are looking for that he may have covered. I recommend viewing his channel using a browser and not the YT app. That allows you to keyword search within the channel. Obviously you can sort by oldest and most popular which is what I do sometimes.

I see it too but I think I'm not quite as annoyed. I consider myself an old school mgtow refugee and I think this is the best thing going right now. -I'll just stick to 'just being'. I like this philosophy. I consider myself a little more self improvement motivated than that but not near as enthusiastic as OP. I recall being self-improvement obsessed. I spent years before realizing consuming self help content, planning, implementing habits, etc did not equate to actual self improvement for me. I'm busy bro. I have a 20 year corporate career, I spend time keeping my tech skills honed so I can stay relevant with my company and attractive to other employers. I am raising my children to be responsible and empowered. I run 12 miles a week and weight train 5 days. I take time to self reflect. I work on cars as a hobby and have an established ebay business. Let me know what I should drop so I can make time to 'be worried' or be mad about the feminist.

I can relate to this. I refer to it as 'dead inside'. That's a little bit of an exaggeration but it sort of defines the sensation for me. Stardusk has observed this about himself and he describes it as 'seeing the world in low res/in bits'. Honestly I have found a great deal of peace in this. Its bolstered my own masculinity and I am still able to love my children, interact with society, etc.

I'm going my own way which does not include arguing with feminists. The MRA's are interested in instituting male policy change so if you think that's a viable solution then best of luck. So while the Anti Feminist First Responders are policing youtube and making response videos, carrying on about 'thots hitting the wall' and divorce courts..we are following our paths. Picture a line of red pills in front of you. Each pill leads to a more difficult (or equally difficult) realization. Speaking just to my own path here: the first is female nature as it pertains to relationships. Usually feminism is blamed. This is the realm of r/mgtow as opposed to this sub. The next pill is realization of female biology and our biology as males. Relationships are recognized as one small aspect. As you can see in the replies, opinions vary. I have not had sex in over a year but I'm not doing any kind of deliberate celibacy. I think I just lost interest in pursuing it. I think a little bit of what you are describing is what stardusk called The Redpill Malaise. He didnt refine it too much but I think it was deliberate. It was sort of this feeling of a lack of motivation and ambition. Without a female either telling you what to do or indirectly influencing a man to be productive there is this big void. Good perspective. HuMan has talked alot about it simply meaning what each individual man takes it to mean. He dates but I get the impression his girlfriends learn very quickly he has no intention of submitting or falling into any of the traps so I would assume it would be discouraging for them. I have no interest in dating, women, relationships, etc and I do see what you mean. If we cant identify commonalities then it may be difficult for mgtow men to relate to each other.
/r/MGTOW206/04/20 09:06 PM

Yes. I think it's up to the individual to see how many "things" as they truly are and not how they want them to be. I suppose its possibly limitless. As stardusk said..(paraphrase) when you are honest about the rabbit hole depth you come to find that it doesnt end.

To answer the deliberately oversimplified question(I think). My answer is the red pill. There are so many dosages that are not acknowledged. The first dose gave me a perspective of female nature. Alot of guys are stuck here and if I had stopped I would have ended up a PUA. The next dose was the mirror. It was acknowledging my own biology and provided the realization that I was no more actualized than my female counterpart. My next dose was that of society. It provided the realization that religi…

I've got an idea. It just came to me all of a sudden..so consider it mine. Since we have a broken system and women dont even notice, what if we were to be indifferent towards it all. Instead we focus on ourselves in a manner that puts the wants and needs of us men as our priority and simply be indifferent towards the other gender. We could call it. Gentlemen Traveling Thier Path. A lot of the hate is a recent thing. The founding philosophers got hate from PUAs due to territory encroachment and there were occasional skirmishes with MRAs. Feminism was identified very early on as a symptom of the problem so any debate around politicized feminism was found to be of no value and mostly ignored. But it was bound to gain popularity. I think Sandman definitely deserves credit for the rise in numbers of people and what the modern mgtow expresses as far as a belief system.
