That makes me wonder if it could help women who have trouble orgasming when you scare them right before sex. You know, seductively calling them into the bedroom while you’re hiding behind the door. Once she enters, you jump out loudly yelling "BOO👻". I mean, that should get the blood and adrenaline pumping.

And husband material is "you are attractive + you have a great personality + out lifestyles and goals are compatible" Maybe the root of the problem is women friends calling you husband material. If "husband material" really meant "attractive + great personality + compatible", then why are these women friends not trying to date you? Many relationships develop from friendships. If your friend likes your personality and thinks you’re compatible but doesn’t want a relationship with you, the only log…

Sorta happened to me. I posted a pic of myself in a fitness sub and had many gay dudes giving me compliments in the comments and in my PMs. That was awesome and I’m not even gay myself.

My great-grandfather cheated on my great-grandmother. Nothing happened and they stayed married. They also lived in a very small town, so many people knew about the incident.

You need the right facial structure and frame to properly pull this look off. If you don’t have that, than it will just be cringe and look like you’re trying too hard. For example, I have pretty soft facial features that make me look a lot younger than I am. If I tried the look of the second guy with the necklace, stud earrings and low cut shirt, I’d just end up looking like a gay teenager.

I would date within my social circle instead of online dating or going out with people who cold approach me. This makes vetting guys easier because they don't know you're vetting them and they can't put on an act. So you have years to observe how he treats other people, how he talks about women he doesn't find attractive and how he handles difficult situations and conflicts. And I would wait to have sex until commitment is established. How about if you were a quite unfortunate looking woman? B…

I rather a husky with soft hands than a muscley guy who's touch leaves my skin red and scratched up. Meh, how boring. Where’s the fun when you’re not hurting at least a little? If she doesn’t let me bite her skin open, I don’t want her!

I don’t do marriage. I like the idea of marriage but not how it plays out in real life. Have seen this go horribly wrong too many times. But I would wait to have sex with her until she feels ready, given that it’s a reasonable timeframe (months, not years).

No idea if women are getting more ok with man sharing, but they seem to embrace non-monogamy more than you'd think. https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/all-about-sex/201911/open-relationships-are-more-popular-you-might-think Some men may pressure women into non-monogamy, but quite often, the women are the prime movers. There’s no definitive research on this, but the most comprehensive book on the subject, The Lifestyle: A Look at the Erotic Rites of Swingers by Terry Gould, quotes many CNM…

There is a woman I talked to online for a while. She is Japanese and in her late 30s, but living in the US. I am in my early 30s and live in Europe. I have absolutely no romantic or sexual interest in her, just like she has absolutely no romantic or sexual interest in me. But she is a great person and I enjoyed talking to her very much. She is intelligent, funny and an all-around good woman. If I lived closer to her, I would definitely want to be her friend and spend time with her.

Gym is great, but people here are vastly overestimating the effect it has irl. I have been training religiously for years now because I really like it as a hobby and that gave me a pretty nice body. I posted a pic once in a fitness sub and it became one of the posts of the month with more than 2k upvotes. Still doesn’t do anything for me irl. Best case scenario would be that a shallow woman is willing to look past my inexperience, awkwardness and meh face for one steamy night but that’s not what…

I think that there are studies that say something to the effect that, the longer people know each other, the less likely it will be that physical attraction is important. No. Yes. 31 M I didn't have close friends in high school. It was mostly a shit time for me and I hated it. I literally cannot think of even one good memory from that period of my life. It would have been nice if there had been someone who cared about me, someone I could trust. Your teenage years are a very special time. I’m not sure what rock some of you guys were hiding under before finding TRP, but seriously, how did you not notice this very well recognized phenomenon? You have to take your audience here into account. I have basically been living under a rock since the mid 90s, lol. I honestly didn't put 2 and 2 together until I heard women openly (and sometimes harshly) talk about their preferences within the anonymity of the internet. There are men like me who were under-socialized, shy and a little naive. …

You're conflating your personal sense of attractiveness with the objetive measure of beauty. Those aren't the same. That's the point. Beauty is objective and measurable. You can take a photo of someone and measure their features to find out if they are objectively beautiful or not. Someone isn't average because he doesn't fit your type. That's why I said you're using the concept of average wrong. Average is an objective measure, not your personal opinion. Edit: It's like calling someone short. A…

Every debate here is a waste of time. Y’all do this because most of you are disagreeable and it’s fun to argue. I felt compelled to talk about this because you are using the concept of ‚average looking‘ wrong. I see this all the time and it annoys me.

The other men on your list are average/below average. I’m talking about Eddy because you’re fundamentally wrong about him being average and I’m pedantic.

If you want to become a model, you have to have a very specific set of conventionally attractive traits (high degree of facial symmetry, high cheek bones, a proportional nose, the right canthal tilt, etc.). These are requirements. Beauty is not subjective. It is influenced by culture and time, but it is absolute and measurable. The unconventionally attractive female models you mentioned have all of the required traits. They are unconventional because they have minor edgy features in addition. Yo…

Models are conventionally attractive, that’s why they are models. They possess a bunch of conventionally attractive features, like a high degree of facial symmetry or the right gonial angle, and little to no conventionally unattractive features, like a too big nose. People like this are rare because the average person has a more even mix of attractive and unattractive features. So, by definition, a model cannot be average looking. Unconventionally attractive people are just conventionally attrac…

Eddie Redmayne used to be a model and you think he’s average looking? Jfc... Prior to becoming a full-time actor, Redmayne modelled for Burberry in 2008 with Alex Pettyfer, and in 2012 with Cara Delevingne. In the September 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, he was featured on its annual International Best Dressed List. In 2015, he was named number one in GQ's 50 best dressed British men. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Redmayne

That ugly guys treat you the same as, or worse than, hot guys. This is one of the reasons I don't give ugly guys a chance anymore. If the treatment is the same, why should I go for tguy I'm not attracted to? Makes sense and I agree. Why did you give them a chance, though? Did you think they’d treat you better because you were out of their league? Or did they pretend to be good people and later turned out to be assholes?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 08:18 PM

That attractive women want be with attractive men is hardly radical. That's just logical and also exactly what you see when you look around. People overwhelmingly date within their league. And yet I keep seeing comments by women here all the time saying that they or their female friends have dated less attractive men because of their personality. I find this very confusing and I think it is comments like these that make average men think they can get a hot girl if they are just nice enough. Exam…

So you‘re saying men are not capable of loving? That’s sexist. Didn’t know you were a female terper.

So you‘re saying that the bottom 20% of men don’t deserve love? Wow, just wow. That’s really cruel. Also, no need to make things personal by calling me ugly. That only makes you look bitter. But I forgive you. :)

You: That proves looks aren't that important to women, just don't be the bottom 20% of looks and you're good. But then also you: Also, if he's not attractive, he's never going to get an attractive woman.

Would you sleep with a woman you thought was ugly? Have you? Absolutely not and no. Is there such as thing as too ugly if it's just a hook up? Of course. Doesn't even have to be ugly. I wouldn't want to have casual sex with most women because I don't find them attractive enough. Does there need to be some level of attraction for a hookup or is it irrelevant if sex is guaranteed? My physical standards for casual sex and relationships are exactly the same. The only difference is personality. I wou…

I used to think that men and women were extremely different. Now I feel like there's much more variability within the groups 'men'/'women' than between men and women. In my opinion, most people are largely the same. The really just want to live a mildly fun life, buy a few cool things and, preferably, not die alone. Some are awesome and will make great romantic partners and some are, unfortunately, bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.
