When I asked my FOL I didn't ask for his permission. I asked for his blessing. I was very intentional about that distinction. It's a formality at this point.

If it's something like a concert or something pretty concrete with attendance, I'd respond with something like 'Offer stands until X'. If it's just a night out, then just say OK & move forward as if she said no. Aka different girls, hang out with friends, work on yourself, etc...

I can't unsee these kinds of things. It's everywhere, there is a show my son likes on Netflix that is filled with this kind of crap. We don't watch that show anymore. There was a time where I wouldn't blink at this stuff, but now it drives me nuts. I wanted to slap Mayfield and his wife when I saw that ad.

Because nofap is total bullshit. Not total... Not touching your junk won't change anything in your life if you're already mentally stable and productive. There are many ppl, myself included who see it differently. It's awesome if you haven't had any issues with this, but generally ppl are falling into porn because they're masking other problems. When you stop touching your junk, you then face your problems instead of running from them. You're pre-requisite of 'stable and productive' is the key q…

Lift Eat clean Learn a skill so I can earn a decent wage. I'm 28, largest regret I have is that I literally wasted away my early twenties. For married, was beta bux, & had a son before I realized my shit was terrible. Something about having a son woke me up and I realized I'm the one in charge of teaching this kid how to be a man. I had zero skills cuz I was a lazy fuck who didn't do anything with his life.

Beta is a mindset more than anything. I've always been at least 'decent' looking, with a few questionable style & fitness choices along the way. I also got a general good initial response from girls, but then the figured out I was a pusssy faggot & that interest died.

I did it for a couple months religiously. It worked pretty well, but ultimately I switched to an intermittent fasting protocol & started watching my macros. I did quite a bit of research & intermittent fasting & keto produce similar effects on the body. For me, intermittent fasting is sustainable, while keto was not. I'm an intermittent fasting lifer. I love how I feel & love the variety of foods did it allows me. Plus, I can lean bulk much easier on it.

The big reason they care more about time is because they've created an environment where money is no longer an issue. They have more than they need. Time is the only thing that cannot be duplicated, so not one second should be wasted.

The future thing is just an excuse. I've got a 3 year old & 2 month old, Work 12 hours a day (day job & side hustle), & make time to lift. The working & lifting don't always 100% happen everyday, but the point remains that they both happen the majority of the time. You need to 'make' time for improvement. I get the handful kids, I do. It doesn't matter, you take care of the kids & make time to become better. My 3 year old is the toughest kid any of my family has dealt with. He's awesome though, …

Two things, don't talk about fight club. If it gets brought up, you just say I'm reading some self-improvement stuff or whatever you want. My wife only asked once,I said some growth/improvement books. She didn't ask again. It's common for me to be reading this kind of stuff. Finance, business, personal growth, etc. Second thing, the sex memorandum is for you, not her. Some guys here think it's dumb, I personally used it. I didn't say anything about it though. I got down to 12.5% body fat from 30% in the last 7 months. Here's what I did. Basic calorie deficit - I started out here. I dropped weight pretty well at first was running a couple miles a day. I soon plateued after a 10Ib drop. Literally couldn't get my weight to go down any further. So I continued my research. Keto - I decided "what the hell", I'll try the keto diet. Proponents advocate that you don't need to count calories and you'll drop the weight. This is only 'partially' true. When ppl f…

Calories do matter for weight loss, ketogenic diet isn't useless as you're trying to indicate. The war between calories in & calories vs hormones needs to stop. Using both will optimize your fat loss, muscle gains, & overall health.

April Fools...? The sweating advice is retarded, it does nothing for body composition or lean-ness. It's a tactic competitors use to drop weight for a weigh in. Just eat at a deficit (I prefer to use a fasting protocol for this part), lift weights , & maybe some HIIT. You'll be fine.

Oops, post is updated with proper stats. Sex is generally a couple times a week when she's not pregnant. This last couple month has been pretty barren. Which is what it is, she's 7+ months pregnant & all 3 of of have rotated the flu twice. When healthy, she is willing when I want it (most of the time). Sex has vastly improved since I started on my RP journey about a year ago. Started with just dabbling, not really doing anything. The last 3 months has been the most action. Lifting & getting in s…

Take my opinion for what's is worth, but why do you care? Stay plan is the go plan. If you're sitting good enough in yourself, then you'll be fine, even uf she leaves. Things might not get better as you improve. She might decide she doesn't like the new you & wants her pushover back. If she leaves, you're better equipped to find someone better. If she doesn't leave it'll be because she's decided that she likes the new your, even if it was uncomfortable in the beginning. As you age, you as the ma…

It's really interesting to see in real time too. I used to go back & forth constantly with what she wanted to try & keep her happy & all things ever seemed to get was worse. There came a day I got tired of it, analyzed the best way forward and just stuck with it. She pushed back hard at first, but the more I stuck with my resolution the better things got. With everything... Example, I realized just how fat I was one day. 170Ib's, 5'7, above 30% body fat. I was gross. I tried conventional diet pl…

Would simply turning around and leaving in this instance be a decent choice? That's my first thought. Just turn around and leave, go do something else, whether that's a good time elsewhere, or mission focused. To me that shows you DNGAF and that you'll do your own thing with or without her. If she wants to be apart of it, then she has to behave and respect you. If she doesn't, then you will set her aside. Stay plan is Go plan. It might not be the right call, but I would have just left. I'm not g…

That's it then right there. She very well may be trying to manipulate you. Just keep doing what you're doing and take the sex and enjoy it. Just don't fall into the trap of doing housework 'for' sex. You can spin this to your advantage imo. If you help and she doesn't give you sex, then you could make a point not to help. Therby conditioning her that your help comes with sex. The key is not to get covert about it and get butthurt when you don't get it. Just keep on your mission, initiate at othe…

Religious leaders most definitely can create a suppression issue for sure. As a member myself, I don't actually see MRP & the LDS religion as incompatible. There is simply a misinterpretation of doctrine that gets spread to fit our feminist society IMO. I had to work through my own Blue Pill issues from my mother's interpretation of the doctrine taught, but the more I look at correlations, the more I'm convinced that Red Pill & Religion (specifically the LDS religion) are compatible.

This post does belong in r/askmrp. Sidebar material will literally answer your question. No more Mr. Nice Guy is your best place to start. Keep in mind that with MRP we're not into hand holding. The goal is for you to become a self-sufficient captain of your family. You need to take initiative and be a self starter, you won't get anything spoofed to you here. Totally get it, my account is pretty new as well, so it'd be understandable why someone might be skeptical if they looked at that. You made a good clarification to my original comment. You're right to call out that my story isn't going to apply at a universal level. I'm lucky enough to have found MRP before things got to bad, so I didn't have years & years of habits to change. It was more of getting back to who I was when we started dating and reminding her of all that with my behavior. I don't …

You're absolutely right, I shared my experience to relay the point that when you get the feelings running, it can and usually will override the pain aspect. People in general make decisions based on emotion, then we rationalize that behavior logically. When you can trigger the emotional response of desire then you simply refocus the rationalization to do it instead of not to do it. That's not to say that legitimate reasons can't stomp out an actual desire. Our family has come down with head cold…

Alright man, let me share my experience in regards to a painful sex for your girl. My wife has Endometriosis, which can cause extreme pain, specifically in that area of the body. On top of that, she's also has polycystic ovarian syndrome, same issue. Used to be a huge excuse from years 2-4 of marriage. I started to get my shit together and just forget about dwelling on my woes of un-laid-ness. Found red Pill and lurked for a while and followed the advice. Read some books, got in shape (still a w…

^ This. I think all working parents need to trade places and be the stay at home parents for a period of time. It really opens your eyes to what kind of workload it is. I've spent the last year being the stay at home parent while finishing school online. Wife wants to have a 2nd kid, I laughed a little when she said this. My only response was, I'm going back to work. I'm not staying home with two of them. She agreed instantly that she'd rather be home than working. So it works out well. It says …

Many guys aren't quite there yet. Executing that is these situations takes a certain confidence & attitude. I was decent as a leader and had many alpha traits when my wife & I started dating, but slipped into beta mode subconsciously almost the second we got married. I feel I was able to bring myself back a little faster than most, but not everyone has that ability for a while. I had some alpha traits prior to marriage and have only been married for five years. So switching back wasn't to diffic…

Get back to intervening with your new foundation. You need to show your kids, your wife, and yourself who is in charge & what a man's responsibility is. You are the protector of your household, from both outside & inside threats. I'd strongly recommend hidden cameras to capture what's going on when you're not there, & just in case you ever have to physically remove her or the kids from the situation.
/r/askMRP12/10/18 09:05 PM
5

Set up some hidden cameras to catch this in action. This is borderline abuse, verbally & physically. Your kids are literally defenseless and you need to protect them. From their own mother if necessary. When she is yelling & swearing at the kids, you need to step in. Show your kids what a man is supposed to do.

This. I heard it best describe over in MRP. Alpha is the steak, beta is the steak sauce. Having a steak with steak sauce is delicious, even a steak alone is appealing. Steak sauce by itself is gross. I butchered the analogy a bit, but the point remains. Red Pill doesn't mean you take all the beta traits out, you just need to know when & how to apply it properly.
