Tbh, I am unsubscribed from both twox and RA. I only see posts from those when on r/all.

It's the law of numbers.... Those subs have more subscribers. I have almost unsubscribed from this sub because of the amount of female bashing nonsense. I regularly down vote the bullshit in this sub and others (relationshipadvice is another heavily male bashing commented sub for example). I have been on reddit for a long time, but it seems like over the years down voting isn't used as much as it used to be.... Probably because like all social media, the idiots start to outnumber those with sens…

I agree. The current third top comment on this post is bitter nonsense. Lots of whataboutism. I am male. I support everyone equally. But some of the comments here are no better than the comments on twox.

You're fucking rain man. The left didn't have shit. The story comes up. The ask him for a comment. 3 hours later he's posting that he's a republican and the left is coming for him. It's really not that difficult to understand. If someone extorted me for 250k because they say I touched their tits, then they ask me for a comment, I am going full blown Maga because I know that incels don't give a fuck about unwanted touching of titties. But, one, I wouldn't do that and two, I would never have 250k.

Good lord you're fucking retarded. This happened years ago. It just came out. He played republican yesterday because he KNEW it was coming out. The fucking balls on people like you to say stupid shit like that.

Back in the 90s I got lbs for 400. So yeah, this was funny as shit to me. I no longer am in the game.

28 year old middle school teacher and fucking a 14 year old. Is this any worse than an ex-lover killing the ex? Or suppose the parent of the 14yo found out and killed the 28yo? Stop thinking in specifics. Stop thinking retribution is the answer. Stop thinking punishment is the answer. I agree it's horrible. I would want to eviscerate her. But raw emotion isn't the correct answer. Do we want her fucking another 14yo? No. So, we can either keep her locked up for life, kill her, or fix her. What is…

rapists posting smiling selfies of themselves This is the exception, not the rule. Victims deserve to feel safe coming forward in knowing that they will be protected and their rapists punished. I agree, but can we guarantee that all 'victims' are actually victims? No, we can not. their rapists punished This is a fundamental disagreement that we will not see eye to eye on. Sorry, I disagree with you. Rapists should be treated with the same eye of the law as thieves and murderers and frauds. None …

I married young. I was 18, she was 16 (1 month shy of 17). In my state, it was legal, but in others, I would have been charged with multiple accounts of child molestation. 28 counts isn't abnormal. They charged this fucked up person with a crime for each time she committed a crime. 28 counts isn't unusual in this sort of situation, 1 count would be an outlier.

Again, as it is, she is not receiving any punishment. Only rehabilitation. And while me may disagree on how it should be, this is how I think it should be... rehabilitation, not punishment. Punishment serves only the victims... rehabilitation serves the community.

Okay, time for the voice of reason. No offense. Did you ever make a mistake? Do you want to pay for that mistake for the entirety of your life? Do you think you learned from your mistake? I'm not saying every person in the situation can be 'reformed', but we can't just let people be fucked for the entirety of their lives, regardless of their crimes. Some shit is fucked up, yes. Some shit you viscerally want people to fucking die.... or at the very least have their lives fucked up beyond repair f…

You're telling us that the police allowed an obviously drunk woman to drive? What city did this happen in? Do you know the precinct or the names of the officers involved? Happened to me as well. 1999. (ex)Wife was/is crazy and it didn't end well after her sleeping around. She got drunk, beat on me for hours until I finally struck her back (it was an automatic response after kicking me in the balls). I went next door, and called the police. They came, I was bruised and had bite marks all over me.…

wow you're fucked up. You are basically proposing everyone should get it in writing every time they have sex, even in cases of marriage. Do I need to prove I didn't rape my wife last night? How would I even go about proving it wasn't rape? You are literally making married people everywhere criminals. wtf

Okay, then how about nothing versus a gun? Self defense in the eyes of the law (look at the Trayvon Martin case).

People also seem to be missing that BOTH of them were charged with assault. And there you go.

I wouldn't have gotten into that elevator, I would have waited or trucked it up the stairs, but that's me saying it while I'm not pissed at her. Had I been pissed, trying to get a point across, I'm sure I would have followed, verbally instigating her to the point of assaulting me, which could be considered partially my fault. Except, physically assaulting someone for verbally assaulting you isn't okay.... none the less, having no fear of an attacker doesn't mitigate a defensive response to an at…

You and I have differing opinions on the justice of killing people. While I propose reformation in almost all cases, killing a serial killer is okay with me. "NEVER" is generally a word that shouldn't be used in legal subjects.

erasing and minimizing her actions Thank you for that wording, that is what is really pissing me off right now. People are like 'oh she's a battered woman, she doesn't know how bad he is' when in fact she had a hand in this shit as well.

read my other response. Proportionality in this may seem wrong. But, if I come at you with a knife, you can shoot and kill me, and it's not disproportionate. And while they obviously had previously swapped spit, her spit poses a danger to his health (look it up), and he can act to neutralize that threat in an appropriate manner, i.e. knocking her out.

I disagree, self defense is a valid excuse to use force. The amount of force obviously was disproportionate to the attack, but, again, it's a legal self defense. He didn't continue beating her after knocking her out. Sort of like when someone comes at you with a knife, it's cool to kill them with a gun, quite disproportionate, but also quite legal.

I think you miss the point though. If a male attacker were to do the same, sexual assault (due to showing the females nipples in public) would be an additional charge. Don't blame those saying it would be, blame the DA's and criminal justice system for us being able to say that.

I actually read this without seeing the 'male' part of the question and was surprised and happy by the reactions. That being said, I wonder how it would go over if the question was for females.

I'm not saying I agree with the law (if it were non-gender specific), or disagree, I just found it odd that it was a gender specific law....

"Either you are for equal rights or you are a feminist/misogynist/sexist" This seems to be the appropriate wording for the context. (To point out their hypocrisy)

Child support is a topic a lot of people just don't understand. They think it's to help the child all of the time. The truth is nothing close to this. My situation, is like a lot of the men around the country, similar to your story, and difficult to swallow. Even worse, my ex wife doesn't even have the children living with her (The live with her sister, she is basically a vagabond), but the judge, knowing this, at the most recent court visit, continued the child support that I must pay her, EVEN…

yes, yes, no. If you are going to a place of incompetence, then you need to have something done about. It is not about victim blaming, it's about incompetence. As far as the guy goes, the tone and thoughts she had about him were FUCKING INSANE. Don't give you already horribly situated friend another reason to hate life because your perspective is FUCKING INSANE. This guy is trying to be nice, and that's it. He wasn't thinking about himself. He was trying to reassure her that not every guy is a r…

My fav line from the article: Amy Keel could’ve just said, “Hey – that whole snow penis is completely juvenile and inappropriate” and then destroyed it, and while I would’ve thought she was a total buzzkill, I wouldn’t be as apt to mock her over it. But nooooooooo. She had to go all, “This snow penis represents male domination and gendered violence!” on our assular areas.

I will respectfully disagree here. You can not argue with ignorant people. Please see my post in /r/offmychest a few days ago about it. Ignorant means lacking in information. If a person doesn't have the correct information, then you can't and shouldn't argue, you should educate them. That being said, if you give ignorant people the correct information, and they refuse to believe it, then they go from ignorant to stupid. And, you DEFINITELY can't argue with stupid.
