"Can I call you Sally?" "My sister's name is Sally, it's one of my favorite names." "Is Sally your full name, or is it a nickname for Sarah?" "Your name is Sally? I'm Ollie!" I love mixed drinks with whiskey, and I hate mixing it with coke. The coke completely subverts the flavor of the liquor. The best simple mixer for any whiskey is ginger ale. It complements the flavor beautifully and subtly. Soda water is good for smoothing out and opening up a whiskey.
