Technically bad style to add so many unnecessary parentheticals. I would suggest either changing 'they' to 'she' or cutting the pronoun entirely and just using the parenthetical phrase you have there instead.

It's ok that you used a word wrong, you don't have to go full retard to try to justify it.

That you used a word you don't understand? Message received.

That's not what agency is. That's just vulnerability. Agency is about the ability to take action and make decisions on their own, not being invulnerable to the actions of others. They had a problem and had the power to do something about it. If you a bunch of men decided for women that they needed to be protected with these facilities, that would be a lack of agency. If some women lobbied and passed laws that said women had to use women-only facilities, that would be a lack of agency. Instead, w…

The grammatical issue is that the pronoun is referring to a subject not previously mentioned in the paragraph, but the pronoun does fit a different subject used in the paragraph. The fact that the commenter used they instead of she wasn't the error, it just made it more confusing.

You said it's what the laws are telling people. It's not. It's clearly saying that women have power and influence in our society, so much so that they can enact laws which in principal violate civil rights we usually hold more sacred. If I had the power to get a law passed that made it legal for me to hit you and illegal for you to hit me, who has more agency? This shit is not being forced on them, they are successfully demanding the option for a gendered public business. a-g-e-n-c-y

Wait, women getting together to get a law passed that only they want and denying men the ability to enter a public business shows a lack of agency?

Then your statement is grammatically unclear. The other commenter assumed that your plural pronoun was referencing the plural noun already in the sentence (women), not the singular individual who was not previously referenced in the sentence.

Hard to identify specifics other than to say that the more effort one puts into understanding and committing to aesthetic choices, the better they will tend to look. Also maintaining physical fitness and grooming habits helps.

He cannot say that and be correct, since that's not how our legal system operates. A finding of not guilty is simply a statement by the court that, given the evidence presented, they are not convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime with which they are being charged. Do you think every prosecutor witness is probably guilty of perjury if they don't find a conviction? Again, I would think individuals of this sub would understand a little bit about how the court fucks…
/r/MensRights22/07/15 04:37 PM

Sure, if you choose to abandon the principles of our legal system. Would it not be hypocritical to label accusations false without trial when the primary issue here is labeling accusations true without trial? To be clear, a court finding of not guilty is no statement on the veracity of the testimony or evidence presented. If someone commits perjury or files a false report, it's a crime and has its own proceedings.

What percentage of self reporting feminists do you feel share this hatred of boys and men? How do you feel that these feminists are restricting people's ability to discuss the issues with different terminology?
/r/MensRights20/04/15 04:56 PM

Please look up what the word conspiracy means and you'll understand that it absolutely includes what we're discussing. It does not necessitate secret societies and crackpot theories without evidence, so how about you stop being coy and start treating the topic with as much respect as you'd like it to have. Also, I don't know if your last statement is the genuine answer or a glib, dismissive one. If you wouldn't mind clarifying then I think we can continue :)
/r/MensRights20/04/15 12:55 PM

Be specific. Who all hates whom or what which fuels this apparent conspiracy.
/r/MensRights20/04/15 11:53 AM

What reason is that?
/r/MensRights20/04/15 10:42 AM

Agreed. It's one of a billion examples of human conflict fueled by poor communication and dialog. Fresh vocab could definitely help to erode this part of the problem, though of course any such change will not be without its pains and resistance.
/r/MensRights19/04/15 11:43 PM

That seems to be a tough pill to swallow, particularly for the side that bears the same gender as the preferred name of the malady (patriarchy). It makes it too easy for both sides to think they are being victimized by the other. It should be more widely and frequently addressed that it's the same set of cultural expectations that hurt all of us. It is far more productive than smearing the other team.

Yeah there's nothing easier to write off than a movement whose actions mirror those they criticize. Defending shitty stats with moving goalposts and shifty arguments completely deflates the validity of one's criticism.

Because then the sub would strongly favor more popular subreddits.

The problem was with downloading apps, few of which were able to be migrated to the SD card with the then-current version of andriodOS (not sure about now). I don't have any experience recording phone calls, but I would think any smartphone with a decent ear speaker would do the trick.

I am using a MyTouch Slide 3G from T-Mobile. My condolences. My gf had that phone for about a year. There is a shamefully small amount of internal memory on that thing.
