I’d like to add that if you’re experiencing these feelings a good foundation is to also QUIT porn. I know for myself that all of these results are streamlined when I’m not using porn. I think, generally, overwhelming our receptors with stimuli in daily life will counteract the effects of these actions - avoid anything that provides instant gratification, which may even be masturbation even if only for the first 7 days (science has proven an increase in testosterone over this period).

Thanks man, I’m glad I have good friends but I struggle being completely honest with them about my flaws and I think it’s holding me back. Appreciate the response

Haha thats admirable but I don’t see how it would benefit him right now. I plan on doing 5gs once I have my own space, max I’ve done is 4g with a friend

The ends absolutely justify the means, however it’s a dangerous game that could end in disaster if the suffering throughout the trip is unbearable. I’m an advocate for psychedelics, especially mushrooms, however in his case would recommend at least an experienced trip sitter.

This guy is going to need to make some changes before having 5g of shrooms

But sometimes neither and you’re left with the flawed love of a mother. Then what?

I think it’s ironic that people who have never done it think it is fine. Go and try it, tell me how you feel about yourself and then report back. I also think that it largely depends on motive. If paying for sex is your only means for it... then take it from me, that shit is not only beta, but destructive. Contrastingly, if you can get sex without paying, why would you? Edit: I wish this sub would stop advocating “paying for sex is fine because we pay in one way or another.” The whole point of T…

I went back at 21 in 2018. I’m turning 25 in August and hopefully I’ll be done next year before I turn 26. The time flies, I remember starting yesterday. Thank fuck for TRP

I read an interesting comment that basically alluded to feminism and lgbtq agendas being pushed because they indirectly promote consumerism. I.e. females (and men that act like females) are more likely to spend their money on useless shit. I’m about to graduate into civil engineering, an industry that heavily promotes the feminist agenda, and I can’t understand what there is to gain from that?

Yo I appreciate you checking back. I had a family wedding (its 2:20am atm) but I applied for 1 engineering job and 1 research topic for my honours project at university. Haven’t watched porn either. A friend also got me a trial at a cool bar on Sunday but that was lined up a few days ago.

I think it’s a complex mixture of psychological issues caused by trauma, poor diet and pornography abuse but I have no evidence just self awareness and observation

I see a psychologist and although he’s bluepilled af, it helps tremendously. If you go in with the mindset to improve, a psychologist is just someone that can help along the journey. I don’t feel comfortable opening up to friends and family, especially with the amount of betrayal I’ve experienced. A psychologist helps me unload all the burden I carry around and move on so I can continue getting better

As a former LARPer current loser, I know that the majority of people on here are socially retarded, myself included. But if you put in the work, you can change and live the life you want. It’s not about projecting an image of confidence or contentment... it’s about actually experiencing it and to experience real confidence and contentment you need social and sexual relationships. Great post and you continue to be the most engaging, self-aware writer on this sub

I abused MDMA for a year, took copious amounts 2-4x a week. Its been more than 4 years since that period, and I’ve had it maybe twice. I definitely feel much better than I did and any “depression” I feel now is related to shitty habits and diets. The chemical imbalance will repair itself. Side note: apparently foods high in fat are good for brain health. I also dabble in psychedelics and that’s helped tremendously. Goodluck

Every time you feel like/think about wanking with OR without porn, remind yourself it is not an option. Anything that you’re aware of that effects you negatively is now “not an option”. This is your new mantra.

I fucked up here. Word of advice: tell her you havent met her friends and she hasnt met yours (if this is true). If you’re going to LTR someone you want to know how they are with other people especially with regard to how mych they respect you in others’ presence

I’d say work on building a sustainable career and moving out of the house. The rest is kind of irrelevant until that happens. I’m starting to realise that the majority of unsuccessful red pillers (myself included) are just in a building stage. Pussy is actually easy to get once you have some sort of foundation that you can draw real confidence from. In regards to anxiety, psychedelics helped me tremendously but if you decide to take them. Do your research and start with a small dosage, like 0.5g…

NoFap is bullshit. Read the 'pmohackbook - easypeasy', just google it. Essentially, what I discovered was that my escort addiction was actually a porn addiction that escalated. Escorts are basically a substitute for porn and hence have the same emotional and mental effect. Read the resource I referenced if you really want to quit because I cannot do it justice, I would do a terrible job at explaining and analysing the perspective offered in the book. But the same principles apply to escorts. Thi…

As someone who is finally free from an addiction to escorts, let me share my insight. I have had passionate sex with girlfriends and hollow sex with escorts, and I can say that 100% of the time sex with a girl who genuinely desires you is better. It is a testament to the work you have done on yourself and there is a genuine connection which I believe is a necessary aspect of healthy relationships. Without getting too “woo woo”, the emotional connection you share with someone, that leads and perv…

“I FEEL as though my instinct was to react with stoicism and silence due to being redpilled” exactly, you felt - you acted on emotion. Emotions are normal and healthy aspects of being human. The issue with a lot of people on the redpill (myself included) is that we are scared of our emotions and hence act ‘stoic’ which we confuse with emotionless. Being stoic is allowing yourself to feel the full brunt of your emotions and acting in a way that is true to you regardless. It takes reflection to kn…

Semantics. Who cares. I know it’s a lot easier said than done but you just have to trust your girl to do what is right. If she doesn’t then so be it, it will suck but life goes on and you’ll be ok. In the meantime I’d focus on working out those insecurities with reading, journalling/reflection and meditation.

I think you’re referring to a much more complex aspect of relationship dynamics wherein you speak your truth with outcome independence, and people respect and love you for it, you do so with outcome independence but stay grounded in reality so that you’re able to adapt if you are wrong. I would say that this is contextual and sometimes the right thing to do (which is guided by intuition in much the same way as doing the opposite) is to say nothing at all and leave it. For your specific case, I t…

The reason we are here is because of our toxic mothers, sisters, grandmothers etc. Healthy women do not operate like this to that extent. It sucks that it’s like this and in my position, that the men in my (broken) family are all weak.

It’s done, water under the bridge now. Just sit back and watch her actions... if she walks out on you then so be it, but if she stays you owe it to her and yourself to start being a man and handling your own shit

OYS #3 Age: 24 5'10, 75kg, 12% bf (visibly in shape) Lifts: Squat - 112.5kg (4x5), DL - 135kg (4x4), Bench - 90kg (4x5), OHP - 52.5kg (4x4) Running 2x a week, 6-8km each run, 5:20(ish)min/km pace. I don't listen to music while I run, finding it helps with mental clarity and focus. It acts as additional meditation, when the run is hard I focus on breathing and putting one foot in front of the other. Reading: WISNIFG & 'Mothers, Sons and Lovers' (doing the journalling exercises from this book) Fin…

I’ve been LARPing up until this point. I had no sense of self and would constantly look outward for answers to my problems. I’m not looking for answers outside of myself anymore I KNOW who I am, what I want and what I need to do to get there, and now I am doing it. Before I would take action in hopes of external validation or a particular outcome. Now, although I am at the very beginning of this journey, I am listening to myself, taking my own advice and acting on it. I’m building a sense of sel…

OYS #2 I lasted posted 1 month ago, was banned for 2 weeks for rule #9 and rightly so. Fuck I wish I came across this comment 2 months ago. It doesn’t matter anyway because I probably wouldn’t have listened. Learned the hard way. Anything to do with other men cannot be discussed, you can’t control her, you can only give yourself the illusion that you are controlling by her pretending. Accept it, control yourself and taper your commitment according to her behaviour. And if she disrespects you, fuck it... cheat on her and keep fucking her with minimal effort.

Started prioritising women and got insecure and needy in a relationship, acted beta, light switch effect and she left. What did I learn? That self-love and internal validation is the true red pill. That real strength and confidence comes from disciplined, valued action. To love yourself and let others show you whether they love you or not. And to relax and not take yourself too seriously, have fun

This is the right response "I just don't really feel like getting riled up about it." It shows that although you've encountered something that is emotionally draining, you're willing to accept it and move forward in life. It is an emotionally healthy response is indicative of self-love.

It’s ironic because you’re angry about women having power over mens emotions... Nonethless, it’s completely normal. With time you’ll see that there really are benefits to female nature. They evolved that way for survival. For a high value male, they are actually quite enjoyable. At 20 (I’m 24) you still have a decent way to go. Eventually you’ll realise that you’re just missing out by not playing the game. All those people you are angry for, don’t even give a shit about themselves AND THEY DEFIN…

You’ll laugh if you read my post history but essentially my short relationship didn’t work out. What I’ve focused on/been focusing on right now is: 1. Understanding what triggered my emotions, why I felt that way (past trauma), and accepting and learning from it. 2. Self-love and my purpose. I can’t emphasise how important this is. This should be your ultimate goal because really YOU are your most important asset. I’m learning to love myself like I love my LTRs and others. It’s a process, like y…

First: Value yourself, there is no reason to commit to a girl like this. I am sure that you can find someone with all the good aspects that is much better in those other areas. Second: Why would you want to LTR someone that doesn't respect you. Self-respect comes first but others' respect follows closely behind. Don't settle. You are worth more. Third: Read the sidebar. If you actually want a relationship with a woman (much like I do because I value meaningful relationships which facilitates the…

OYS: #1 Me: 24 years old, university student. Seeing a girl for 2 and a half months. Found TRP in 2018, have been working on myself ever since. Stats: 75kg, 10%bf, 5’11 Lifts: bench 85kg (4x5), squat 120kg (4x5), deadlift 130kg (5x3) I've just entered a relationship with a girl that has similar career and life goals as me. Dangerous, if the friend is blue pill he will grow to resent you as the relationship declines. UNLESS you approach the situation with compassion, understanding and love for your boy.

Further on this topic, (and something that I struggle to implement socially) when meeting new people we might have these same tendencies however this is where the rule becomes crucial... if they don’t ask then don’t tell. Listen non-judgementally, use the conversation as an opportunity to be mindful of the judgement you pass and watch how people begin to open up to you. Personally, I don’t/wouldn’t use this to manipulate people but to become a better, more compassionate person

Say less next time. Your actions show that you like her, you don’t need to verbally communicate it as well. In fact it becomes meaningless and needy. Give her the space to emotionally invest by not expressing your emotions first.

Show yourself compassion, you’ve achieved more than a lot of people even with your disadvantage. It’s important to not judge yourself so harshly. Acknowledge your bad days and expand to make room for the accompanying emotions. They are all temporary, nothing last forever. Your struggle will not last forever. Some practical advice would be to figure out your values and your goals and start taking action in that direction. If you still feel helpless, talk to a therapist. Best investment you can ma…
