I have been reading up on a few of those topics lately, echoing what you mentioned. It just seems as a ploy of establishing a single world government controlling the entire world led by a few power hungry individuals. But there is just no-way this will go over without several major conflicts happening, dwarfing the last two world wars in comparison. From your point of view, how do you predict the next 50 years will go for the world? And are we (the western world) fucked beyond saving?

I completely agree with everything you mentioned but I cannot begin to understand why the "elite" would even want to do this. Don't they realize we are heading straight for a major civil war in less than 10 years? What do they have to gain from this?

Too be honest i haven't read it yet but it came recommended in this thread and it had positive reviews on more main stream websites. It's in line with mindfulness and meditation, if that is not to hippy for you then you can give it a try.

I got the Icarus Illumina 6" which i can definitely recommend. Go for an e-reader with Android since then you will be able to "root" it and remove any security or bloatware apps and install everything you like. There are also guides on how to install Android on kindle or simply removing DRM on your eBooks you might have, in any case i wouldn't worry about kindle suing your ass for using it for pirated content. Edit: Also, Calibre is your best friend in removing DRM and organizing/converting all …
