Go to college and you get a reset. You’ll never see 98% of those people again.

When she traded up her clothes, you knew all you needed to know. Her leaving is a shit test. If you fail, she will never get in line and lose the weight. My last girl was 5’4, and 110. My current girl has a 10 pound range, if she hits the top she immediately goes into diet mode and gets back in line, I don’t need to say shit. We like what we like. Don’t apologize for it.

I’d just tell her she can make it up to me later.

I usually say, “Yeah, you almost had to go in the spanking machine.” Then she’ll be all “you better watch it”, but then when I move toward her like I’m going to get her and she squeals like a little girl. Then tickle or not. But if she does it too much, I suddenly have lots of work projects to do, can’t see her right now.

I’m 60, kids all finally out. I have had a handful of LT relationships since my divorce, if you’re patient and picky you can find great women. I’m not pulling 20 somethings but have had kind and loving women in my life for most of the time, with the occasional dating flurry to find the next one. My last one was a size zero MD who I basically alpha widowed, talked to her a few weeks ago on the phone and she was crying about how great our time was, how boring her current guy is. My current gal is …

It’s so important to just do your thing and let them decide to join you. For my girlfriend I just do my thing and she loves joining in. When we talk future stuff, I just tell her my plan and that I’d love for her to join me. (I’m retiring soon and planning a 5 year see-the-world existence). I’ve had others that didn’t want to do that and it didn’t work out. Finding someone who wants to follow is key. I doesn’t hurt that she’s a CPA with equity partnership in her firm, and 5’10” with DDDs!

I don’t think there is much you could do. My previous gal was an MD, with a Wharton finance undergrad. But around me she melted and I took care of everything so she could be off duty. Normal women want a leader around them. My current gal is a sharp CPA, and is the same way. She so wants to not be in charge in her private life. If they can’t shut it off at home they either have some kind of daddy issues or just got the feminism bad. Cut and run is the only answer.

She has to be on duty at work, but when we are together I take charge so she doesn’t have to. She gets to just be a woman around me. I literally tell her that her only job when we are together is to “look cute”. I’ll plan a weekend for us and just tell her what types of outfits to bring and that’s it. I plan the hotel, the restaurants and the activities. She just gets all girlie and melts into me. I’m not a man’s man but she tells me I’m the most manly guy she’s ever been with. All I do is lead,…

My ex offered to get back together after nuking our family and I considered it for about five seconds, thinking: I could have my nice house beck I could have half my money back I could see my kids every day Then I noticed she was not in any of the reasons to get back together. So I decided I wasn’t going to let her fuck up my life again. Not I’m fucking a 5’10” CPA with double Ds who can’t stay off my dick. So, to each his own.

I’m not poor. Our issue was political. We’re on opposite sides and though I didn’t care about her stance, she was afraid her (tolerant!) friends would reject her if they found out I didn’t line up with their ideology. It worked out... I’m now seeing a 5’10 CPA who is crazy about me, so it’s all good.

My gal was deeply in love with me. She had previously only dated soy boys and pussys. Her ex husband was literally a Prius diving lefty liberal that had all the “right” NPR-style thinking but left her pussy dry. I didn’t take her shit and actually led her in the relationship and took command. She never had that before (being the super intelligent driven woman she was, she easily dominated most men) and she just melted. I took care of everything when we were together and she didn’t have to do any…

3,4,9,12,15,17,24,35,48. I mean, you need a better strategy for dealing with plates. I have an LTR, and I am very careful around her to always appear the way I want to, not necessarily how I feel at the time. They might say or imply they want the real you, but they don’t know they don’t. You have to keep meta all the time. Cheers and good luck!

One of my old girlfriends still laughs about the time I said to her, “Take off your pants and get in the backseat.” Be the man and they respond. Also, keep a blanket or sleeping bag in the trunk if you’re in a colder part of the country.

I made my comment because I dated a gal who had (when she was married) secretly run up some credit card debt with out her husband knowing. When he found out he made her get a job and pay it off. She didn’t do that again. You’ll have to decide if the delay in having kids is worth it.

Tell her to get to work and pay it off herself. It would be different if you discussed it before hand. The behind the back stuff will sink your ship, Captain.

I had a very long relationship with someone who was raped. Guy pulled gun on her at night on a beach on campus and at that point, you do what he wants. She did her therapy about it and it was no issue for us in any way. Sex life was enthusiastic and constant. If you’ve never had an issue to this point, I would not worry about it.

I met my girl three months ago and she and her group (including both of her married sisters) are going to key west (was scheduled before we met). She is nuts about me and in my frame hard, so I just told her, with a direct stare, don’t do anything stupid. Of course she says she won’t, but who knows. She’s a bad liar so I’ll know if anything happens. Whatever. If she does, I’ll just find someone else.

My daughter had a Roth in high school and a $9000 credit limit in college. She was in an Uber once with 3 friends and their phones kept ringing and they would reject the calls. She found out it was collectors harassing the three of them for payments on their maxed out college credit cards. All she could do was shake her head and thank us for training her young.

This happened to me. Wife wanted divorce after I made my ideal life with her. Fine. A year later I’m dropping the kids off and she comes out crying how she ruined our “perfect family” and would I consider reconciling? For a moment it was attractive, I could have my house back and half my cash and my kids back full time. But I realized she was no where in my thinking of what I wanted back. So... no thanks. Now I’m seeing a skinny 5’10” CPA with DDs who can’t stay off my dick.

I had his happen once. It was with a with a really good friend of mine from college. She was in her mid-30s and I was mid-20s, this was a few years after I graduated. She had two daughters maybe 11 and 8. The kids were from different dads, and I’m not sure they had ever done a “family” vacation. She lived in Sunnyvale. One thing I do when paying the restaurant bill is that when I take my credit card out of my wallet, I leave the wallet on the table in front of me. When the bill comes back with the card, the first thing I do it put the card back in the wallet, then figure the tip, etc. Never forget my card when doing it his way. And I do it every single time. She is a control freak and that often comes into conflict with things. She wants things done her way. I want them done mine. We would butt heads and argue about it. One thing you might try is assign what you want to have happen and let her figure out how to do it. It might not get done how you want it, but pick your battles.

Finding your stuff, who cares. Sending to other people, not cool. She’s not on your team. Bad first officer. Deal with appropriately. When I was married my wife didn’t like that I had a subscription to Playboy. She bitched about it. I didn’t care. I told her that when the renewal notice came to renew it. She did. Problem solved.

When my ex first went to the divorce lawyer, she was a SAHM but he told her to find a job immediately because she had an MBA and would not get nearly what she thought. The state mandated CS was 33%, but I only paid 18% because of her education and we did 50/50 on where the kids lived. Later I got it cut to half of that because she got raises and got laid off and the job I found later paid less.

I actually have lately. We are both nearly 60 and I’m looking for someone to grow old with. Long story short she may not be the one. It would work for me but she is still unsure. We are almost a year in and I’m not waiting forever.

Might be fun if we can get there. I can really only see her on the weekends so she’s in charge at her place most of the week. At this point she’s still too uncomfortable with the whole thing to commit to a real LTR. It’s all stuff just in her head. I tease her about her indecision but in reality it will kill the relationship if she doesn’t figure it out soon. If she decides that this is really for her we can try these variations but until then we sort of “get in our cocoon” on the weekend and fl…

I’m dealing with this a bit now. My gal has an Ivy League finance degree, MBA and then got her MD. Super high emotional intelligence. Her dad raised her to be dominant and in charge, and she’s always picked men she could dominate (and is then surprised she lost attraction to them). A year after I got divorced my ex came crying to me saying she had ruined our perfect family and would I consider getting back together? I didn’t even consider it. Yup, this was a big issue for me at the start of the journey. I’ve always been laid back and didn’t really have a strong preference for many things. Either the fish or the steak is fine. I had an LTR that never shit tested, she was amazing that way, but sometimes would get antsy about our relationship, saying things like somethings off, and obviously feeling uncomfortable. It hit me at one point she would only do that if I wasn’t stating my preferences. It was so weird. If I led, she was happy, …

Many people don't work on themselves to fix what was wrong the first time around and end up with the same issues. Also, it's hard enough dealing just with her family and your family, but now add in the new families, the exes family, your kids, her kids, our kids, her ex, your ex, etc. and there are so many more possibilities for trouble and conflict. Everything just multiplies trouble and all this just makes it harder and more complicated.

I kept chasing mine and she kept running. You can guess how that turned out. Lift, read, STFU, try to DGAF, work on your own shit. Outcome independence is key, meaning if it ends in divorce, you will live on. Clingy, scared and mate guarding is not attractive, it will drive her away. Up your game, lose weight, take charge where you weren't (finances?), decide what you will tolerate. Plan for the divorce, know your options. And yeah, it's all your fault.

Unfortunately I can't take the credit. It wasn't me running the relationship well, it was just how good a fit we were. Other than the money thing, it was amazing. I didn't encounter the red pill until very late in the relationship, so that really had no bearing in it. We just fit each other in a very complementary way, and she had massive self awareness. This is something I wish was explored more here. I had a super high quality girl in an LTR and very little of TRP applied to her. You make little in psych. My daughter graduated in December 2014 (bio degree) and fully 40% of the arts and sciences class was psych majors. The market is flooded with chicks who wanted an easy major and didn't want to do English, education or early childhood development. It's not that there isn't demand for it. It's that the supply is so huge that the salaries get pressed way down. Sounds like the other posters are giving you good advice in other majors.

After 7 years of beta it will take a long while before the shit test drop to a reasonable level. She will test you to see if the changes are real. Once she believes they are then they will reduce. But most likely never stop completely. So realize this is the beginning of a long journey, and then it will take time for her to adjust tot he new reality.
