Additionally the city itself is quite beautiful and has tons of shit to do. Also, it is a relatively inexpensive place to live (there are lots of statistics attesting to this, but I'll sum it up by saying incomes are high and cost of living is low). The major drawback to Minneapolis is the so-called progressive (some might say socialist) political undercurrent.
