Yeah, I'm 28 and while I'm in great shape with a six pack and in that nice 10-12% or in some rare times, a little sub 10% body fat, I definitely notice a slight difference in my body if I eat "shitty". My abs don't have as much definition and you feel more sluggish sometimes. Even when I was in college, I knew that diet is even more important than weight lifting.
