Oh and my pride. History of abuse makes some tones and actions misinterpreted for communicating reasonably to my boyfriend. I lose my temper after getting defensive when he's not even gonna hurt me lol

Tell him what your expectations of him are without pressing the issue of Alpha or Beta. If he bothers at all, it should come from a place of genuinely wanting it rather than doing it for you or anyone else.

Working on my patience by trying to fidget less (I bite my lips, pick my fingers and twirl my hair) when in discomfort. This also means listening more and talking less when I'm nervous or excited. Not sure what ways I can do this. I keep a journal with me pretty much always so whatever is making me uncomfortable is at least in a memorable form that i can see the whole picture at once and pick apart what about it makes me uneasy. Not sure where to go from there.

It's always hard getting used to another person. I hope things turn out well. :)

I think this will only be another arbitrary debate. All men are different and have different interests and needs. It's up to us to figure out if we're meeting these needs through diligent observation. It may just be my opinion but there's a good middle ground that's borderline "bratty" (Thinking like Lucille in I Love Lucy) then there's simple obedience. If you aren't often sure where you're stepping those boundaries, with a little introspection and hindsight, it becomes easier to know how submi…

Don't like crowds either. Too much 'vibe-feeling' between people that I can't keep up with the exchange. It makes me feel lonely at times but I've found keeping a journal around to jot down things I perceived as 'awkward' and translate them...

I'm a little in same boat though not married and my relationship is fresh. Perhaps something a long the lines of "Hey I really like cuddling until we ... Like last time when we blah it really had me going.." Would work. Though it's hard to word this stuff because then does it become a shit test (i think) in that we're manipulating our Alphas into giving what we want how we want it???

No. I'm pretty set on what I want and men seem to expect that to change. I disapprove of men taking me on for more or less than what I am because that is a false impression. Or a false assumption in other cases. Flakiness is already signalling a tendency toward instability so, I'd maintain my doubts and carry on with my life. I hope that's not rude.

Friends. I can't even make them, my boyfriend's brother swears I drip with too much confidence that other girls are put off to make friends with me. But I'm a completely introverted non-confrontational person who just likes to make people i care about happy. I try being more approachable etc nothing but disappointed by any attempts at friends. Good luck, OP

I'd remember he said those hurtful things drunk, foremost. Then make those boundaries from there because it sounds like he doesn't like the idea of knowing* you had sex with anyone else. No blame there, you're right to worry. Maybe tell him the truth that you know for a fact you want nothin else than intimacy with him and that you need to work as a team for him to get over your past. It is your past after all and he wasn't in your shoes during that time. It seems a little unfair to guilt-trip yo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
