That sound you hear is my beard growing faster than it ever has before. (Yes, I can train mine to do that!)

Thank you for saying this.

If you're highly educated, perhaps you could use "well" where you used "will"?

This is a good warning as to why I am done paying for female attention.

Good God, I could go to a bull-fighting tournament and see fewer red flags.

What I love most is how, if you turn around the genders, this would be destroyed.

I have trouble reading body language and my autism makes it impossible to learn. I'm not risking arrest because I didn't read some cue correctly.

"The relationship with her father was [unhealthy]." I HATE sounding whiny, but... Why are these men the ones who are successful in reproduction? 😞

John Stossel, 2006, Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity. ABC "News" sucks ass without him.

Honestly, I know too many people who have practically built a personality around being fans of The Office. It's put me off ever wanting to watch it.

Dating site profiles are all the same. No matter what they write, you come away knowing nothing about them. I notice this happens... Not all the time, but way too often. I gave up Tinder because every third or fourth woman's profile was summarized as follows: "I love pizza and laughing."

Thank you. <-- 28-year-old mentally ill autistic male who apparently isn't good enough for dating. 😞

One thing that upsets (and this is something I think is worth its own thread): I love how dating site posts by women will mental illness, and it's perfectly fine (and, understand, I'm not saying it shouldn't be)... But mention it as a man on one of these sites, and you're lectured: "OMG GO TO THERAPY WOMEN AREN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR HAPPINESS!!11!!"

Dafuq? You mean she's actually CONFUSED about whether or not he should know if he's the father? Who is confused by that? Obviously she should tell him.

I'd go on a date with her just to show her my EU passport (I have dual US/EU citizenship) and see how she reacts.

My post was agreeing with you. Other people seem to think that, if you don't like someone's dating choices, that means you think they shouldn't be allowed to make them. Basically, I agree with everything you just said. Other people have a hard time seeing that.

While I will defend someone's right to choose a date based on who they are attracted to... I don't think I can support this lady's choice This is something that, for whatever reason, seems to be really difficult to get across to a lot of people. You can recognize that someone can choose whoever they want to date and think they make poor choices. For some reason, people treat it like it's either/or, and it isn't.

Two things that upset me about this: If you reverse the genders, people will get mad. "A guy who checks all the boxes" - Sounds like code for "I only date high-status men, and I'm way too good to reconsider my standards."

I'm gonna have to assume you have become one of these transgender men that are no longer men at all... Amazing! That's misandry and transphobia mixed together. Rarely see that.

men choosing porn over real women I choose porn because, here in the real world, women want nothing to do with me. Even when I put in loads of effort into building profiles, making first impressions, etc., I still get no hits. I'm not saying this to make you feel sorry for me; I'm just saying that there's no point in playing an unwinnable game.

I don't think I'm a saint or anything; I just know (being someone with mental illness myself) that mental illness doesn't make someone incapable of being a good partner. It just hurts when I read online dating profiles that contain phrases like "I need a real man who doesn't play games!" and I get rejected; what does that say that I don't even get a chance? :(

Here's my experience with online dating: I come across a profile like this one. I realize I'm imperfect and come with my own emotional luggage. I can take on someone similar. I message the person behind this profile. Receive no response or negativity. Wonder what's wrong with me. I'm so exhausted. 😫

I'll just say this. I would be willing to date a single mother. I have no issue dating a woman I have chemistry with regardless of whether or not she has kids. And yet... Every single mother I've offered myself to has rejected me. I'm not suggesting I'm the greatest guy ever, but I hope I'm not wrong in thinking I'm a man of decent character, and it hurts when a woman who complains about how her "baby daddy ain't shit" turns her nose up at me. Someone who "ain't shit" got a kid of his own and I …

Came here to say this. I recently got into it with someone who asserted that "nerdy gatherings" (think like D&D meetups and whatnot) don't attract women because they don't make women feel like people; instead, women there are made to feel like commodities. I asked him, "Why is that limited to nerdy gatherings? Bars are the same way with 'ladies' nights.' Nightclubs are the same way with admitting women and men based on the current gender ratio inside. This just sounds like a way to hate on unatt…

"The outrage comes after defence bosses lifted a historic ban preventing female soldiers serving in combat units. Critics said the ground-breaking move could damage cohesion within regiments because of the likelihood that men and women would engage in sexual activity." Bet they weren't expecting a situation like this...

If sex workers were mostly male, nobody would care about them being audited. Hell, people would even argue that "it's about time."
