I (31f) went on a date with a guy (37m), and I was just hyper-observing his social media behavior for a bit. A couple days before our date I noticed he commented on a mutual friends (22f) photo with “🔥🥵”. It bothered me, but it wasn’t my place to say anything. Not long after that, I noticed he had followed and liked the photo of a girl that is in HIGH SCHOOL. I was grossed out, to say the least. ETA: yeah idk if “hyper-observing” is considered a vetting strategy, yet here we are, lol. bullet dod…

sounds like she may have been interested in him, and even felt a sense of safety with him (hence why she asked HIM to walk her home), but just didn’t want to leave during the middle of a party to go have sex with someone she just met, which is…extremely normal. Just…wow. Terrible.

I have never been bullied more by men in my life than as an adult. It’s absolutely disgusting. Sure I was bullied as a kid by boys. SOME of them apologized for it when they got older (which I thought was awesome and I really appreciated). But holy shit, putting in-person confrontations aside, the only hateful and rude DM’s I ever get on IG are from men!!! It is fascinating. Girls are the sweetest 💗 lol ETA: and honestly, I love men. I was raised by a HVM single father since the age of 12, so whe…

It took her a couple days, but she finally blocked him too. It’s hard when you’re so invested in someone… but even during my initial convo with her, before dinner, before knowing that we were even talking about the same guy, I had sent her the FDS handbook based off of what she was telling me because every woman should know their worth and treat themselves as such. You feel better when you have respect for yourself and your boundaries. That’s a fact. I mean, you all know. :)

Okay GET THIS…so I met up with a girlfriend (we recently met through IG) for dinner because she was having guy troubles, and I was like “hey, let’s meet up and I’ll tell you about this forum that has helped me (FDS)”. She proceeds to tell me about some bigot that has her on a string, treats her like a bang maid, but she is just under his spell and cannot get out of it. She then asked about me and my dating life, I told her about this guy ^ the respectful gentleman that cooks dinners for me, trea…

I was recently dating a man that I made wait a month to take me out (my schedule was booked), made him wait 2 months for a first kiss… he was always nothing but kind, respectful, cooked dinners for me, introduced me to his friends and constantly begged me to meet his parents whom he already told about me (his mom saw me on the news and said I looked pretty, but I didn’t tell this guy that I would be on the news that day, his mom recognized my name). He never even brought up the subject of sex… W…

You are absolutely correct. A man will wait as long as you are comfortable with waiting.

LOL He’s 38 and his age range is 18-26 🤣 wow. And does he not know that the “About” section means he’s supposed to tell people about HIMSELF… not solely about his sexual preferences… literally he does not give us any info about him.

When I was 16 I was at a guy friends house for a party. I cut my leg on a ping pong table, and the guys dad said, “come with me, we’ll get you a band-aid” I followed him to the master bedroom, it was my friends dad after all, and he locked the bedroom door behind me. I immediately thought that was extremely strange. He told me to sit on the bed while he got a band-aid from the bathroom, and insisted on putting the band-aid on my leg himself. I was so naive leading up to that moment. But that’s w…

So true. I received a long message today from a guy I knew a few years ago who I eventually had to cut off contact with because he mistook my kindness for interest, and started to become extremely intense, messaging me CONSTANTLY (we never hung out). In his message he said, “When we first met, I thought that you were some kind of “award” or “prize” I had won for making it through my past hardships.” What. The. Fuck. No. Goodbye.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
