Patrice said that if he was going to get strange pussy then it's only fair she get strange pussy too. He didn't jerk off to that.

Could me give me some context about this guy?

I'm from a relatively small town in the UK, so there aren't any of those groups unfortunately. I would have gone to those first had the option been there.

Thanks for this, I'm definitely going to have to into this now. I tried kick-boxing once, and it didn't really work for me so I stopped. But this sounds like it's right up my alley.

Seems like westerns in general are quite RP. Think I'll be watching more of those.

I didn't mean I would emulate them, but rather "absorb" their masculinity if that makes any sense.

I'll look into this, thanks. Actually, why do you say BJJ as opposed to other martial arts?

I was on board with what you were saying before but now I get the impression you just haven't grasped TRP at all, or been here very long. For example: What is the anger phase? Amused mastery? This is common parlance. Does everyone here just have an irrational hatred of women, and the point of the sub is to transform that hatred into positive things like maturing out of lazy behavior? No, no one here hates women. At various times we may be frustrated by them, but very few of us actually, genuinel…

Another commenter made the same point about not hating women, and I agree. I'm not a psychologist by any means, but I would argue your point that all this thinking is just natural to growing up (if that's what your saying). There is no female conditioning on men What makes you say this? The way I see it, the west has become astonishingly feminised. Men and women think differently, so men brought up in a feminised society think like women do. They're brought up with feminine ideals and feminine r…

I get this impression too and wonder if its just another bitch thought. Of course you do every in moderation, but stopping just because you think it will lead to failure...leads to failure anyway, and therefore you have not seen for yourself if the other side exists. The only way to check if something is successful is to go all out. You should be realistic too, of course, but then again was Bill Gates being realistic when he said he wanted a computer in every home? Not to the people at the time.

I have a similar problem. Even though I have a dad, he wasn't very absent in family affairs and when he was it was because he was drunk or something. So the picture of men that was painted was quite negative. My only solace has been literature. NMMNG, Absent Fathers Lost Sons, Young Men and Fire and more helped elucidate what it means to be a man and why you didn't get the same upbringing. It's changed my "internal" life, like my emotions and perceptions of men and women, for the better. Much be…

Out of curiosity, which book did you find most valuable to read? Out of your list I've only read NMMNG, which was/is profound. Are the others worth reading?

I was so tired I could barely keep up a convo which led to us being on our phones a decent amount of time. Felt even worse because I fell asleep on the train. Isn't it obvious what went wrong?

Have you got a link to that speech? I can't seem to find it anywhere, although I'm not sure how to find a specific speech in the first place.

Along with the other two responses, I found the book also gave well-needed context to why we have Nice Guys at all, from a historical and psychological point of view. It's a fairly short book if you ever feel like picking it up.

One of the things stressed in the book is that Nice Guys arise from a lack of male attachment/role model. So really, it's a very necessary first step to aligning yourself with your masculinity. It's not a self-help book in the sense that if you do the actionable steps on your own you'll get to where you want to be - the issue is that the social conditioning is so ingrained, it can only be uprooted by connecting with what you never had, but absolutely should have had.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
