Sex and seduction is not mathematic. There are general, not absolute rules. Some people do overcome the friendzone, some women don't like being ignored, etc. Nexting a girl is about your own personal dignity, and not wasting time and emotional energy when there are other options. This is the girl's retrospective account, and you don't know how true that dynamic is. If a guy keeps asking a girl out, how much of an investment is it for him? Takes two seconds. Yet the girl can play it off as a prin…

One thing I recommend every man do is read Anaïs Nin and Sylvia Plath. It was a huge eye opener for me. One of my favorite quotes: "Every woman adores a fascist." From Plath's poem "Daddy"

I feel awful for Transgender people because they are genuinely outcasts - outcasts by society, and outcasts in their own body. But while I empathize, I can't empathize away heterosexuality.

Thank you. Damn people in this thread seemed to miss the key vulnerability that formed the crux of this preference.

Not just a woman, but for all people in general: Someone who respects my time, is mature about confirming/canceling plans. I have no problem if you want to cancel something, just give me notice, not like 5 minutes before or an hour after. Hygienic, well groomed. Don't care what their personal style is so long as they're clean. Not malicious and sneaky. I don't like bad karma hanging around, and I don't also constantly want to be on guard and watching myself.

So wait, you intended to cheat on her while you were still suspicious of her? Feel like your relationship was in a weird point anyways.

The more I interact with women and the more successful I've become, the more I've realized that all the theory and discussion can be distilled down into one thing: inner game. This was a great write-up. Really crisply written, good set of reminders about what it means to really be a man.

It is hard for me to really make an accurate generalization from your scenario because I've been in that situation before, have not had sex with the girl, but on other later occasions we have. Respecting what she says doesn't have to be a beta move. You can't let your reaction to her statement define that - either way you've been beta because you've now given her opinion sway over your own. It's really about your goals and what you view as proper. If you view yourself as the chivalrous type who …

Eh. I can't control my height or weak jaw line. But I do control my bank account. That makes me feel better than my genetics.

I mean, I'd disagree. Status is a pretty powerful thing. Even if you're right though, lol who the fuck cares? As long as you get your balls drained.

I think the /r/nofap community is too large to ignore. Yes, no scientific studies out yet, but it's worth it to read the experiences. Instead just don't be a pathetic mongrel and get shit done, lift weights, and chase women regardless of what you do in your personal free time. Agreed. Thing is, these guys don't do that -- when you spend HOURS of your day masturbating, you don't get shit done. Just like any other addiction that takes time - shopping, getting high, watching TV - you snap out of it…

Bro, I'm sorry that happened to you, but I honestly have to say that's an amazing story. It's epic. Well done. I really think though you should go around now and see what girls' limits are. Like, could you get her to do it for $500? Fun game.

On the east coast. I think I'm able to get away with lower "donations" than most because I'm young, clean, non-creepy and generally easy to get along with and considerate. It's amazing the assholes these women put up with, so even being a regular, good dude will be a welcome change of pace.

Power is dominance, and dominance creates her submission. You guys should read more on BDSM, very good psychology about dominance and submissiveness in that culture.

You didn't say it was something that can be that way, you just said that a job is something that is "stressful, strenuous, and dreaded". I simply took what you explicitly wrote. If you're trying to be pedantic for the sake of it, then kudos. But the the validity of the assertion doesn't affect the fact that in common context that's the way work is viewed. Your case may be different. Regardless, OP's context was that of relating marriage with unfavorable job with ridiculous terms - something whol…

Mutual love and trust and all that other metaphysical stuff can exist without a marriage. It's mainly there as social contract and social validation. I don't disagree with you, but most of society has a different outlook. For most, marriage is the ultimate culmination of those feelings. I disagree with the sentiment that a job must necessarily be stressful, strenuous, and dreaded though. I didn't say necessarily. But the typical narrative is that work is work, it can be taxing. Most people work …

This is because I see the corporation thing as just an analogy, like all the car analogies that get thrown around, nobody takes offense at being compared to a car for example I'd disagree. Analogies depend on the context. Marriage is a contract, yes, but it's supposed to be more than that (hopefully). It's (supposedly) based around mutual love. Comparing it to a job - something stressful, strenuous, and dreaded - is about as insulting as it can get. The kind of contract he describes is the same …

I assert that one shouldn't be overly concerned with their reaction, so long as they've cleared their own conscience. She can react however she wants and he can determine for himself if he'll continue to tolerate her behavior.

Shaming and degrading someone is pathetic and weak. It's subversive in the most cowardly way. It's the anti-thesis of masculinity. OP could have explained his position, as lacking in subtlety as it was, without passive aggressively trying to needle his girl.
/r/TheRedPill11/12/13 04:04 AM

This is unnecessarily antagonistic. If someone wrote this to me I would take immense offense to being compared to something as impersonal and replaceable as a corporation. If you don't want to get married, then fine. She can't force you to against your will. But going out of your way to make this joke/point just seems childish and rude.

Man that's a loaded question. Honestly, just do what's best for you. By that I mean go somewhere you're going to be comfortable and excel. A lot of people go to NYC/London because they think unless they go to one of the big four, they're going to be unemployed and homeless. First that's not true, and second, people working at the major firms are often miserable because they're using it as a means to an end and don't actually enjoy the competitive nature of the firm. It's like being a football pl…

Great question. Yes, yes I have. I used to be one of those guys buying bottles in the club, driving a Benz, and wearing Italian clothes. I spent tons of money on shit that I thought would impress women. I went to one club so often I actually had my own code-name and was friends with a couple of the city's basketball players who would celebrate post-game there. It works to some degree, but it also takes time. You need to "prove" your wealth. So you still have to go through the routine of courtshi…

Haha, I'll take that name with honor :) I wasn't based in NY actually. Yes expenses can add up, but fortunately I was in a city with much lower cost of living.

Haha, thanks. I wouldn't consider myself truly alpha because I haven't achieved certain milestones in my life, but I would say that in these relationships I'm in control. But it's easy to be in control when you're the one in demand. That's why I like the dynamic so much. It reverses who chases whom. I think the number one thing (and this is true for "default" relationships too) is that you have to establish your boundaries, what you will and won't tolerate. You just communicate very clearly what…

I used to feel that way at the outset, but it's just so direct and rewarding and to me the benefits outweigh the costs so much that I don't really look at it that way anymore. I think at the beginning, you're right, I was kind of an unconfident, indecisive loser who needed to pay for it. But it's just been such a great experience, I actually prefer it to "default" dynamics now. I'm not looking for a relationship. I'm not looking for someone to be my soulmate. I'm looking to have fun, go out, and…

You're right, it's not the same - it's much better. I really don't care if they find me physically attractive because at the end of the day I'm getting what I want out of the relationship. I can control my body shape, sure, but I can't do anything about my height. I know I'm a great, funny, loving dude and the women I'm with have a fun time with me, so I don't really feel self-conscious. The money aspect allows me to date and access women that would normally pass me over for some superficial rea…

I think certain dynamics can definitely devolve into that. For me the distinction lies in who is able to "cut off" whom. So in my view I use it as a way to establish the parameters of a relationship (ie, non-monogamous, focused on my satisfaction, don't bother me with your personal life). But I definitely know of cases where guys will just throw money at women hoping they will start liking them. To me that's stupid. It's also about who you choose to be with. I won't spend time with a girl if I d…

Can't wait to see what they say, especially on the height dynamics (both are over 6') - seems like they may have a different perspective than most women.

Haha, basically. Under 30, single, no debt, so that gives me a bit of free income. I just realized at some point that I was spending tons of money taking women to dinner or going to clubs and spending money in the hopes of impressing them and that the money would have been better served if it were redirected into just paying them directly for the desired result.

It's expensive, no lie. But I'm fortunate to have the funds to do it. Sites vary in pricing structure. There are two main ways to pay: a "credits" system where each message costs X number of credits to send and you purchase credits to use at your discretion, or a flat subscription fee for unlimited use. You don't necessarily pay by date. Sometimes you can agree to compensate a girl for a meeting (I'll give you $X to come with me to the game). Sometimes you give her a monthly allowance which gener…

Man that's the thing - there's nothing to learn from me. You just be yourself, state what you want. If that girl's not down - whatever, there's a bunch more lined up. This dynamic reverses the sex-gate keeper power women used to have - now they're coming to you for what you're offering. You learn a lot about women and about yourself, what you like and what you won't tolerate from people (both platonically and romantically). It's a confidence booster, for sure. It's changed my approach to normal …

That fat, rich SOB that is tired of fucking escorts I'm that guy. Let me tell you that if a girl is being flown out, you know what's going to happen. You don't just randomly fly someone across the country/world. You email. You text. She sends risque/nude photos. You skype. You get explicit.

I'm a dude who uses sites like these. I joined on a whim one night while high and sexually frustrated. Now I'm a huge fan. Thing is, the money dynamic refocuses everything back in the man's favor and cuts through the bullshit. Women are resource hungry. This is their nature. Give them resources (money, fancy dinners) and they're happy and they'll be obedient. I've had great, genuinely fun nights out and in with women met from these sites. All you do is budget, establish your limit and communicat…
