1	Damsel in distress is an old theme in art and movies. My guess is that nowadays it's not politically correct and thus has been replaced by something different. But what? In my opinion, there’s a difference between strong independent female character and just an annoying person getting too much screen time. 0	Why don’t men go into Liberal Arts? You seem to be under the assumption that I said there are more men in STEM in comparison to women. If you read over the comment once more, you will see no such statement. I am merely implying there is an incentive for everyone to pursue STEM over lib arts, regardless of identity. I do, however, suggest a comparison to the ratio of men in STEM to the ratio of men in lib arts, which has nothing to do with women. 2	Why don’t men go into Liberal Arts? With STEM, there’s enough women and science motifs. You could probably find 6 million without even having to force yourself to look. The key problem is getting men in liberal arts. Throughout our lives, we are told to never show your feelings and to express yourself is a sign of weakness.
