I don't really read this sub anymore but my key takeaways from over the years was to take care of yourself and build up your value, don't take things personally, don't chase girls that don't show interest, have self respect and learn to feel good about yourself.

Honestly, do something neither of you have done before. Best date I've been on I went to see a show at a place I'd never been to before. She told me it was the best first date she'd ever been on. The place was unique and interesting. Another great date I went on was pretty similar. Don't overthink it. Just have fun. Others have said to lead which is true. Choose where you're going, jump around and if one place ends up sucking jump to another place.

I would agree with this. There's many jobs you'll get in the future that wouldn't be worth the risk. A coffee job isn't one of them. Just don't get angry if you get fired.

I think there's a certain ethical and moral dilemma here. Do people have a right to know who their parents are? My gut says yes. As I'm sitting here typing this I wonder what it would feel like if I was not allowed to know my father when the information could be made available. Of course for the point of view of the donor they engaged in a contract that promised them anonymity. So what right do they have to expect the anonymity to continue? I dont think this is a simple questions and really isn'…

Was there any context for why that law changed? My first thought was children having to contact their biological father if there's a need to find out genetic medical history.

Converse with people who are alone. If they're not studying or otherwise obviously busy then they probably wouldn't mind a conversation. Just yesterday I mentioned something to a fellow sitting outside a cafe. Ended up speaking with him for an hour.
