Actresses definitely used to be more charming, especially ones prior to the 90s. There aren't many today like Marilyn Monroe, Farrah Fawcett, and Sharon Tate. They had beautiful voices and sweet, gentle demeanors. The closest I can think of is Monica Bellucci. She's this very sexy actress who does a lot of provocative roles, but if you watch her in interviews, she's so ladylike, gentle, doesn't curse or ever say anything unkind. Very classy.

I agree with the post that enthusiasm is actually feminine and wonderful. Who doesn't enjoy being around someone who gets excited about stuff? The cursing and being too outspoken are things I've worked on but have to continue to work on just because sometimes I get teased for being all proper, so I start sounding like my friends to fit in. It's not bad to be different. Masculine men, which most of us here really want, don't think being proper is a bad thing. They love their contrast to us. Men t…

A lot of people say to be with someone within 10 years of your age. I think that's a good range, but the closer, the better. My ideal is a few years older or younger, but I am open to larger gaps within reason. One pro of being with an older man is it's nice to feel younger, though that's not necessarily always going to happen. Sometimes older men like to act like you're about the same age because THEY don't want to admit they're a lot older. They can often be wiser (though not always either), a…

You can look feminine without getting dressed to the nines. I second simply buying more feminine clothing. It doesn't take extra energy to wear a feminine top rather than something more simple with a pair of jeans. People sometimes think you need an occasion to wear a dress, but you really don't, and you don't have to match a top to a bottom either. You don't need to wear footwear that's uncomfortable, but next time you're shopping for shoes, look for something that has a feminine vibe to it. It…

First of all, finding someone who's attractive, compatible, a good man, and a strong traditional provider isn't easy for ANYONE, not even 22-year-olds. They still have to worry about a man who's not ready to settle down, the cheater, men being too old for them, etc. Just look at the divorce rates. Yes, ideally, you find your person and settle down young and live happily ever after. But those folks are the minority. Even couples who stay together and appear happy often deal with a lot behind clos…

Not necessarily. A woman who takes care of herself and is attractive, is kind and gentle, has feminine qualities, a lot of men actually get a kick out of this type of woman having some "masculine interests." I'm very feminine and love being feminine, but I don't believe in being a caricature of femininity. If you like punk music, enjoy! If you prefer basketball to ballet, that's cool too. If you are an otherwise feminine woman, the kind many of us here are and/or strive to be, many masculine men…

I may not be as strongly red pill as some ladies here. If you have a partner who makes a lot of money, being a full-time SAHM is wonderful if it's what you want. If your partner makes a more modest living, say 50,000 a year, just think about if it will really cover what you want. Are you happy living very simply? Some women think they are, but they still like to get their highlights, manicures, would never thrift their clothes, like driving a nice car, etc. If you're truly not the type to need m…

I love how free and comfy I am in dresses too. I also prefer sandals to boots. So while I prefer spring/summer fashion, I believe you can look very feminine and feel cozy in all the seasons. A lot of women will still wear dresses and skirts with tights and knee high boots to keep legs warm. While it's not as freeing, you can still look very feminine in pants. Look for ones that flatter your figure and wear feminine tops. Accessories go a long way too. A woman who has some pearls, a top with some…

I think older men can be incredibly sexy, but if we're talking a serious relationship, I prefer around my own age so we can grow old together. Not trying to fall in love with someone who's likely to pass away many years before I do.

I'm not perfect about it, but a lot of men think it's nice I don't curse (not much), even ones who have sailor mouths. They view a "cleaner" mouth as more feminine. Even though I believe women should be allowed to get angry and curse and men should be allowed to be sad and cry, at the end of the day, most men are drawn to soft, gentle women, in the same way women are often attracted to rough, tough men. Even though sexy clothes garner a lot of attention, many women dress sexy. If you dress in a …

It's true preferences vary. There are women I find gorgeous that men I talk to don't and vice versa. What you said about hair is so true! There are some women where if you really look at their faces, they aren't anything spectacular, but the long hair gives a Barbie effect. It especially works if you have a nice figure. The face almost doesn't matter for men. lol Yes, I feel like a lot of men use feminist rhetoric to their advantage in many ways. Not just regarding money but also sex. I'm with y…

I've never thought about that. I just can't get passionately into sports. I don't mind a man who has the game on or going to games with him. That is my extent of support. I try to have a good attitude and have fun, but I won't pretend to be passionately into sports. I do like listening to different kinds of music, so I always listen to artists my guy recommends to me. I will also watch movies/TV shows that aren't my usual taste with him. I'm not outdoorsy, so that one can get tricky. I don't thi…

I appreciate a man's perspective, but the hair on men's heads and hair on their bodies is just not nearly as much time or money. Men have one small area to shave, and you really don't even need to shave that. Women have to remove hair off legs, arms, bikini, underarm, everywhere. The hair on our heads is expected to be a decent length, and it takes time to wash, condition, blow dry and style each day. That stuff is just your average woman too, not taking into account women who cover gray (not th…

Thanks so much! Yes, I always offer to pay my share, especially if I have no interest after the first date. I've heard a lot of wonderful things about Bumble, but women have to make the first move on that one, right? I don't know if I'm comfortable with that tbh. But I'm so happy you found your fiancé on there and so fast! Incredible, gives me hope.

Men often say they prefer a natural look, but they often drool over women who aren't the least bit natural, so I take what they say with a grain of salt. Of course natural beauty is preferred by most of us to someone who's plastic, but even naturally pretty women have to put in some effort and then some money to maintain their beauty. And some of the stuff us women spend money on isn't really option. We have to pay for hygiene products, remove hair off our entire body, pink tax on our hair remov…

I'm attracted to men much older too. I totally feel your pain, but one thing to keep in mind is how relationships with large age gaps go when you're older. When the older man is still a relatively young man, it's great. He has more life experience, stories, wisdom, etc. You can still have a great time together. Younger men are boring in comparison. But at a certain point with a much older man, you'll still be young and not have much of a sex life, and then the strong possibility of being a young…

My worst experiences with other women have been feminists. I know many who are kind people, but so many are quick to be hateful to other women, definitely not empowering. I'm actually a liberal who's for reproductive rights, but beyond that, I don't get their goals. There are some things we'll just never be able to change. Women have their unique struggles, and so do men. I don't see why some women want to act like they're slaves in this country and it's a walk in the park to be a man.

You sound like you have a very sensible outlook. Everyone's comfort level is obviously going to vary. What's important is you and your SO are on the same page. I also don't believe in cutting men off completely. A childhood male friend of mine is family to me. I do admit he's the exception of straight male friends, and that it doesn't typically work. There are also male coworkers I care a lot about. None of them would threaten my partner because they're all a lot older than me, but I can see a s…

As far as femininity content creators, I think Cynthia L is the prettiest. She looks like a model (actually was one), and I admire everything from her long blonde hair to her fashion. Kinda funny so many femininity content creators are blondes, wonder why. Two brunettes whose looks I admire are Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch. No piercings, tattoos, weird hair colors, or trying too hard to be sexy, just timeless feminine beauty.

I would be more comfortable starting out as friends so I know the real him. Does he have a mean streak? Does he respect women? What's he like when he's stressed? Men are all nice when they are attracted to you and think they can sleep with you.

Some of them are feminists because they mean well, and by definition, it is a good thing. I don't think there's any self-hatred or any bad intentions. They are probably just like me in the past. Men who aren't traditionally masculine are also drawn to feminism because it feels like more of a safe space. And then the sex positive feminism attracts certain men for obvious reasons.

Yes, and that's another thing that turned me off from feminism. The feminists I'd speak with would freak out when I'd discuss men's issues. I'm a woman! Of course I have the best intentions for women. But why can't I also care about men's unique struggles? Even in countries where feminism is much more needed than in the US, there are still issues only men deal with, like forced military service.

lol not gonna lie, I find it annoying. But no I don't think I'm oppressed by it. That's one thing that really turned me off from feminism. Every little thing is seen as this huge deal. Yes, I mostly feel privileged as an American woman. I know women who live in some other countries would laugh their butts off at the stuff American women complain about.

Yes, I've heard many men say they can't stand extremely high pitched voices or baby talk. There's speaking softly and femininely, which men love, but forced stuff is unattractive.

I used to consider myself a feminist because that's what I thought too, and I'm sure the really crazy ones are still the minority. I don't think all feminists are bad by any means. But I became turned off from the feminist movement because I found most feminists do have a victimhood complex, exaggerate how difficult it is to be a woman in the west, dismiss what men go through, and can also be really hateful towards women who don't hold the same views. And I say all this as a liberal, antiracist,…

Yes! If a woman wants to be a porn star, that's her right. But even though I respect her as a human being, I'm not going to glorify what she does. Sex work is not the same as teaching, nursing, accounting, etc. Let's not pretend it's a great path for your daughter or the only option if you're desperate and poor. It's not.

I'm also a woman, leftist and progressive but don't fit in with the modern feminist movement. I used to consider myself one and suppose I still am by definition, but the biggest advocates of feminism drive me crazy. I acknowledge men have it worse than us in many ways-most work place deaths, dying so much younger, these are not issues to be dismissed. Bringing them up triggers feminists though. Despite the fact I still see sexism, when I hear feminists say "we have such a long way to go," I don'…
