You think men have privilege, but that doesn't stop them from being assaulted and murdered more often than women. It doesn't matter who does it. Women get raped more, men get murdered more.
Why not? Men have a smaller support network, told to bottle up their feelings, etc. Men have always killed themselves more than women throughout history. And now, it's getting ever harder for them to find a relationship, a meaningful career, etc. Women are outpacing men in education and earnings now. They generally have more friends to fall back on, even when single.
Being Indo-American and from THE culture of arranged marriages, I'd rather remain single and celibate. I'm not attracted to women of my race, and it's a very natalist culture while I want to be childfree. My younger brother got an arranged marriage 3 years ago (was also forever-alone like me) and is very happy. But it just isn't for me.
