It’s bc a lot of single dads are not actually dads. They just refer to themselves as fathers while simultaneously leaving the majority of responsibility on the mother. The only single father I would consider is one whom has full custody and the ex is not in the picture. Most single dads are single bc they left their family and responsibility. Even in amicable divorces with child support, the responsibility is still on the mother. Child support and weekend visits are nowhere near 50/50 responsibi…

Or are total losers pretending they are good dads. That’s what my ex does. Doesn’t pay child support, and takes her to the arcade like once a week and that’s it. Sometimes fast food if she’s “lucky.” Well, he has a girlfriend who is a single mother. She flew out to visit and he asked to spend the whole weekend with our daughter (to make it appear as if he’s a present father). He did it the weekend after to. He even rented a car to pick his girlfriend up from the airport (doesn’t have one). But i…

Yup! I’m not trying to stereotype but all the single “fathers” I know (including my ex that I have a child with) have the single part down. Not so much the father part..

Yup! I have kids and wouldn’t date a single father for all the reasons you listed. It’s just be more work! Of course, if he is well off and already had a housekeeper/nanny he intended to continue to employ, then I could work with that!

Haha! Im dealing with realizing I may be bi too. It’s different I think for me though I think bc my husband and I are very close and we have been talking about it. I know I still need my husband like your niece prob needs hers, but she just needs to take baby steps to build her confidence. Maybe work 2 days a week and save the money. Start exercising. Anything that will make her feel independent! I cleaned my own bathroom yesterday and it felt REALLY a good (normally it’s my husbands chore bc I …

He does what I tell him to do around the house. The problem is I don’t want to tell him. That’s mental extras that I don’t need. When I see something that needs doing, then I do it! I have to tell him, and although it’s no problem when I do.. I don’t want to have to ask in the first place! He’s a grown man. He is good to me, but he needs to brush up on his HV skills for real.

I do but since I’m a nanny out of our home then housework falls on me. As well as childcare for our children. I’m also a full time student. He cooks and does the dishes. I do laundry and he puts it away. He does dinner/bedtime with kids when he gets home and I “clock out.” Although sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t have to clean at all if I do most of the childcare, work full time, and go to school.

For sure! Giving up years of free-time & money and trading it for stress & lack of sleep for years on end takes its toll.

They’d still use you to clean and cook. What you think is slob is clean to them. It would get so disgusting that you’d eventually clean it. Promise!

What are you talking about? Men get better looking with age while women shrivel up like little raisins by the time they are thrirty. Men obviously take better care of themselves, plus genes. Men peak at like forty-five. Everyone knows that. Females mature at about 15 which is why it’s ok for men to sleep with younger girls. It’s biological. Read a book! -some scrote prolly

I think working is the right answer. I deal with both of those issues and the more independent I become, the more fulfilled I feel. I used to think I NEEDED my husband to survive. But the harder I work and the more money I make and the more I clean the house.. I’m starting to thing that he needs me!

Omg am I married to a regular dude thinking he’s a HVM!?? 😳 I’m also a full time student and nanny out of our house. Plus clean most of the house. Omg omg! Help! I mean, I know he’s not low value.. but maybe not high either. I get to keep all the money I make so there’s that. But I’m starting to think he’s in the middle after your comment..

Same here. Trying to keep the house clean means less time with my kids and less creative play for them bc I can’t keep up! But the only other option is to let my house get destroyed and I don’t want them in an unkempt environment. So I spend my day cleaning! My husband works all day and unfortunately we can’t afford a maid. He does ALL the dishes for me though and cleans all the bathrooms. Haven’t done those two chores in years so I am really thankful about that!

I 100% believe that all (most) public proposals are done with the intention to manipulate the woman into saying yes. There’s no other reason to be involving hundreds of strangers during such an intimate moment.

Oh god. Get this! My sister in law has been with her boyfriend for like 15 years. They bought a house together, have 3 kids etc. He has a good fancy job, and she’s a stay at home mom. She wants to get married SO badly and the family is always making little jokes to her “fiancé” of FIVE YEARS!! Jfc. Together for 15 and engaged for five of those years. Just a tip ladies! When someone says something rude or uncomfortable, turn the situation back at them by saying “why would you say that?” Makes them explain their rude behavior. That’s a hard thing to do and they make themselves look stupid. Works in any situation! Not just men :)

Thought this was an interesting read since I always love me some science! What I basically got from this (and maybe someone can explain it better) is that childcare and home maintenance are two separate jobs. Women should not be expected to do both. As this impacts children negatively and puts more stress on the mother because she is now working two jobs. And now me chiming in so I don’t link my opinions to the journal.. but keeping this study in mind from an FDS perspective; If a women chooses …

Do real jobs let you out of work for your boyfriends birthday anyway? I haven’t had a big girl job so it’s easy to take time off, but I always just kind of assumed when I had a business job it wouldn’t be that way anymore. Celebrations would take place nights and weekends..

Haha I wrote that all confusing. The comment below explains it :) here it is!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/07/21 08:27 PM
59

Oh sorry that’s confusing. I have a daughter with my ex and I am married to someone else. My husband basically raised my daughter with me since she was only 2 years old when we met. He deals with my ex bc he is so disrespectful to me. A man has to put him in his place. So my husband handles texts, calls and any plans concerning my daughter and her biological father. So I go years without speaking to him. My daughter and I are best friends :)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/07/21 08:21 PM

Cue my ex. I let my husband handle all interactions with our daughter since I just end up getting disrespected and talked over. Doesn’t happen when my husband handles things. I don’t have to talk to him for years at a time thank GOD!

You can definitely move while you’re pregnant. The father still has rights to see his child. I’m not saying he doesn’t but if she’s not where she wants to be then she needs to move now or else it will be difficult in the future. The judge isn’t going to make her move back and get a new job right after she has a baby. He will tell the father to move or come up with a custody plan that’s best for the child. I have a daughter and this was my situation. I paid a few lawyers for advice. She can defin…

From moving while pregnant? You can do anything you want while pregnant. Now after you have the baby is a different story. You’re stuck pretty hard. But if you make arrangements before then mother and baby can stay. Im not saying she should not let the father know where she is.. but if she wants to get out of where she is then she should go now while she’s pregnant. Otherwise to move she will need to go to court. As long as the baby is inside her she can do what she wants.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/07/21 10:38 PM
82

Or she should just move before she gives birth. She can move out of the country if she wants. That’s what I would do. If he takes the baby if she tries to give it up for adoption then she’ll have to pay him child support. She needs to move like NOW!

Right? My LVX works full time and moved back rent free for like 4 years. Cell phone paid for by his dad. His friend let him just borrow an extra car for free the whole time if he could get it running for the WHOLE 4 years. He made like $10/hour. Let me also say that we have a daughter together and he lived at home with his dad fully supporting him in his 30s while also never paying a dime in child support. He made $76,000 over those 4 years and doesn’t even have a car. He should have a damn hous…

I tell my daughter that a man paying for things, showing he can provide, and being exceptionally generous is how he shows his bright colors like a bird in the wild! She’s in middle school so I tell her the colors look a bit different in boys vs men. Generosity, kindness, sharing, good work ethic, and a compassionate family are the colors she’s looking for as a middle schooler. She wont have to wonder if a boy/man likes her because if he does she will see all his bright colors right in her face. …

This is me! I found staying in college part time while I raised my kids really worked well for me and gave me some “power.” When the youngest goes to kindergarten I’ll have a fresh masters degree and a bunch of current certificates/volunteer work to add to it. Everyone is saying all these things of why she looks good but I know the secret! This woman does not have children, probably. It’s a good move for the mind, body, soul, and finances! Snuggle your nieces and nephews then whisk yourself off for Christmas in Egypt. Not hating on kids. I have two. I’m just saying if you wanna live that life and look like that. I’m not either! I met my husband on vacation and never had sex with him even though I slept in his bed every night. We literally just cuddled and kissed for 10 days straight like we were 17 or something. Always remember! You don’t have to sleep with a man for any reason. I met my husband on vacation in Mexico and went back to his place 10 days in a row and spent the night. He would take me on dates, buy me dinners, and spend days at the beach with me. We never had sex. I wasn’t ready. Guess who came to shitty South Carolina during his world travels bc I left him wanting more ;) He was a gentlemen the entire time and never asked for more than I was ready for. Don’t ever think you have to have sex…

My family used to call me a bugs bunny bc of my teeth. Sometimes when I get self conscious I say fuck that bc my smile is my most complimented feature :)

This was me. My mom was always trying to put me in dresses. I still Dress like a boy (mostly my husbands clothes) but my closet is insanely girly. Pink dresses, heels, body suits and lace bras. Turns out, I’m very girly and very very lazy 😂

It does! How else is your lover supposed to sit and chat with you while you take a luxurious bubble bath!??!?

This is the comment I was looking for. Only scrubs call women gold diggers. Quality men would just say a woman who knows her worth!

It really is! He also does it to be an example to our daughters. He will bring me a cup of tea in the morning (and my girls) and tells them this is how a man should treat a lady. So sweet!

And sometimes it’s about nothing at all! Sometimes you just don’t want something in your vagina 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s out there! Don’t give up. My husband is great with kids! Pours me a glass of wine after work everyday and takes the kids out to play and makes them dinner and does bedtime! :) he even wakes up with them in the morning so I can sleep in :) Then gives me a massage 3x a week because mothering is a lot of physical labor. I keep the house tidy and do lunch and activities with our girls during the day. You can find it.. you just have to look hard :)

Oh just wait until you hear my story. My ex, when I was in the hospital after having our baby.. left to “go on a blunt ride” (and see his other girlfriend) then came back and asked me if I wanted a shot of vodka to celebrate the baby.. while I was breastfeeding and on hard medication. 🙄 Thank god I found my way out of that one and am married to a HVM now :)

Same! I had mentioned I wanted a pretty rock one time and for my birthday he got me a blue agate stone. Couldn't have been more than $15 but I love it and it sits on my mantle and I'll keep it forever :)

My husband used to say, "girls aren't that hard to make happy. Literally watch any romantic comedy and just copy something you see."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
