I use this word a lot, to make just these points. You explained it perfectly. 👌🏽 Women are being socialized to think that showing grace = being a doormat when, in fact, taking responsibility for and stewarding one's own emotional state is a sign of maturity. In reality, the girl ringing up your groceries doesn't care if you're having sh*tty day. Emoting negativity only serves to attract the same. When you operate in grace, you tend to receive the same.

Great question! I'm just getting back into sewing but I find that winter clothes are too difficult for me still. Will be watching this thread for inspiration. I don't want to contribute to the fast fashion/ whatever tf is going on now, but it looks like I might have to. 😔

😢 Not good. All I can say is, cook well. Use fresh foods. Use important herbs. You can try to get him to his doctor or the gym, but... you know how that goes. Cooking is the one thing you have total control over.
