Makes sense that people would eat tons of the stuff, especially if their lives are lacking in other pleasures. Plus, not all poor people are fat. This meme points to a certain type of situation where their obvious excess and personal tastes are ignored and instead an excuse is made to absolve them of responsibility/guilt.
