That’s why it’s so weird. It’s bad enough that it’s harder for average men to get into relationships with women in general, especially older men, but when it legitimately happens, and they see an age gap, they make shit up to dunk on it’s validity. It’s wild. I think it’s propaganda from older women and lesbians because younger women have the most leverage and power of choice in any demographic. None of them would be in relationships with anyone if they didn’t choose to do so. I actually respect…

Right, I guess love is love is not applicable in this case lol

If the “older men / younger women” dynamic were a fantasy/irrelevant, it wouldn’t spark this much debate. We don’t see the same energy around other dating preferences. Where are the "eww women don't like autists. Please stop?" or "small dicks? women don't prefer them. Here are the stats... "Sorry short men, here's what we REALLY like." posts? You don't even need to push back on these because there's no narrative around them. It's clear as day. There are too many individuals with anecdotes and a …

Not sure why a lot of guys struggle with this reality. It's just common sense. It's still an insult though. Most guys complaining about women's advantage in the market don't realize what they are asking for. So these kind of jabs are kind of hinting at something they don't realize. I highly doubt most genuinely women think these guys are secretly craving dick, though. They're mostly poking fun at idiots.

neurodivergent women. And a very limited pool in that. They usually go for neurotypical men if they have a choice.

Me as well. The point still stands. An insult is an insult. Just because you're above something doesn't mean words aren't able to offend and hurt. Being secure and confident doesn't necessarily dictate how you respond to things.

If you take offense to what a man says or how he behaves and respond by calling him gay, that’s usually a jab. It’s meant to sting, not to be accurate. A man can have all the negative feelings and emotions about women and still be sexually attracted to women. Those things don’t cancel each other out. Even calling these men mentally ill is closer to an actual assumption (still an insult, but at least tied to behavior). Calling them gay isn’t; it just hits harder, so people use it. That’s really a…

Go to a black person and call them filthy n-word. see how that goes for you.

A lot of accuracy in this post. The disproportionate focus on “multiple baby mama” talking points is new, mainstream Redpill diction. Before that, I mostly heard that rhetoric from conservative circles to shit on Black people. Now it’s basically an allowable vehicle for content creators to use lower-class communities (women specifically) as punching bags and have an audience clap for them. Lower-class men who had to achieve some kind of social and financial mobility to separate themselves from t…

I truly believe If there was a switch can be pulled that made feminine qualities in men attractive , like emotionality, passivity, or submissiveness, then a good portion of the male population would stop working point blank

This is a +1 for average men average men who are honest aren’t gonna be exposed in this app cause they’re not getting dates anyway lol. Bipolar chicks who ruin reputations will always expose themselves. So there’s no point worrying about these kind of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/25 02:00 PM

It wouldn’t work in anyway shape or form. I generally don’t trust men who gossip about women. It would be saturated with dudes bragging about girls they smashed

Wish something like this happened sooner. All it’s going to do is reveal a larger picture of women’s behavioral and preferences when it comes to dating. If it exposes dangerous manipulative men and oust them from the market it’s a plus for everyone? Men shouldn’t even seek women who don’t use critical thinking skills and get swayed by gossip anyway. It’s just a good filter for everyone.

This is also why women don't bother approaching directly. If you take too long picking up subtle hints, you're too dumb to even be with them. or cowardly.

It probably wasn't that deep. More likely he had a low sex drive and didn't care about any of that other shit. More focused on writing bangers and being a legend. His art most likely was the only thing that mattered to him

OP, even if this isn't a troll post and you might actually be right, you're not going to find agreement from most guys on Reddit. I’ll say this though, I’m always aware of who could physically kick my ass in any social setting. Still, I think it’s unhealthy to constantly size up a man’s value based on dominance in every interaction. Shouldn't even be normal unless you're in prison. Any intelligent woman picks up this type of insecurity quickly. competitive men are easily manipulated uncompetitiv…

google says this btw. The term "con man" is a shortened version of "confidence man". The term originated in the mid-19th century, specifically referencing swindlers who gained their victims' trust before defrauding them.

My op clearly says in the title:...it's the main tool that con men use. You chose to ignore that, but that's cool Anyway , I never claimed that confidence equals manipulation or that confident men are bad. It's merely a trait that the wrong person can have. A man usually has to display confidence to attract women. his intentions for the relationship doesn't matter. Your perception of him does. This works in reverse as well. Since confidence carries so much weight in how men are perceived in hete…

I’m not antagonizing confidence at all , I’m just saying confidence isn’t an altruistic trait. It’s not inherently good or bad. It's just a trait you need to be successful. Confidence doesn’t automatically mean someone is a good person or has pure intentions. It just means they believe in their ability to get what they want, and that can play out in all kinds of ways, good or bad. A more relevant point I was trying to make is that there are a lot of fake markers that can look like confidence. A …

Still not sure what you mean. Confidence , insecurity, and manipulative traits can exist at the same time. I'm not sure why you think one cancels out the other; they’re all traits on a spectrum, not opposites that make each other null and void. You can be confident in your career and physique, and lack it in other areas A literal music superstar or a CEO can have the wrong insecurities and ruin somebody's life. Men who are self-assured have no reason to need to manipulate women more than men who…

For men, yes. Social competency and status matter a great deal more because it all tie into finances anyway.

True. But that's such an easy trap for men to dodge that it's hard comparing the two.

The idea that you don't "blame the victim" makes sense for people that are assaulted, for people that are raped, that are attacked. But if you're engaged in consensual relationships with someone that takes you for a fool, you need to own that. And if they don't own it, they have to be made to own it. Cause they're not victims, they're just rubes. And rubes have to wise up. At what age or point should someone stop being a rube? You can only stop falling for that kind of thing through experience. …

There's no point. You can't tell women what they are attracted to. Attraction ≠ Logic. It seems the only options that are at play are just two: A) Roll the dice with the guy that seems too good to be true B) Remain single
