Not only are there more male geniuses but there are more men in the "very smart but not brilliant" IQ range as well. It's not as pronounced a difference as the extremes but it's there. IQ is among the best predictors for professional success. I don't doubt that there will be more and more women in some of the authority positions that you described but it's extremely unlikely that women will comprise the majority of CEOs. I'm not sure. The number 2 example that I gave has a taper but just not from the front. I don't know what the physical advantage of having a taper from the front is. There is no functional advantage as far as I can tell. Lebron James who is arguably one of the greatest athletes of all time in terms of raw physical output (speed, coordination, power) is as rectangular as it gets from the front.

It certainly can to an extent. Developing lats, medial delts, and neglecting the obliques will definitely help in shifting the ratio. It's mostly bodybuilders and a small percentage of women discussing the perfect body who really care about having a pronounced taper even if the shoulders are wider than the waist.
