His response: "As a barber I can cut hair on anyone's scalp or facial hair and I have an additional certification to use a straight razor. What I can't do is use any chemicals beyond those for cold styling (gel, wax, mouse or hairspray). I also can't use any heat treatments (hot oil) or appliances such as a curling iron, straightener etc. A Barber is limited to scissors, trimmer, combs and other basic Barber tools.
