1	Does this belong here? How is it not reasonable? There is a lot of training that is required to use the chemical treatments required for ladies styles and colours. It is two different business models aimed at two different needs. 99	Does this belong here? Out of curiosity and as my Barber is a friend, I just asked him. His response: "As a barber I can cut hair on anyone's scalp or facial hair and I have an additional certification to use a straight razor. What I can't do is use any chemicals beyond those for cold styling (gel, wax, mouse or hairspray). I also can't use any heat treatments (hot oil) or appliances such as a curling iron, straightener etc. A Barber is limited to scissors, trimmer, combs and other basic Barber tools.
