Fair enough, if both sides have crazies, then I guess I'll just have to judge the two movements based on what they are actually trying to do. Okay...feminism wants to promote gender equality by ending the widespread discrimination against women, and men's rights activists want to protect their own privilege by obstructing feminism. Well, guess I'm still a feminist. That was easy!

Well, no. It wasn't just the "manhood academy trash," I've been a feminist for most of my life, and you can bet I've run into quite a few more of the movement's enemies than just one crazy asshole on youtube. Nice try though.

Ok, fine, if you don't feel comfortable posting then don't post. But please understand that if someone tried to intimidate you into silence, I would be more than willing to stick up for you in whatever way I could. I think your "movement" is a disgrace to the very idea of political activism, but freedom of speech is still non-negotiable as far as I'm concerned.

Ooh, what did you use for the colors? I've been trying to find a way to fill solid blocks with color using MSpaint, but it's hard because hand-drawn pen lines are always surrounded by grey pixels so the edges of the colored areas get all rough and uneven. Maybe it worked for you because the lines just automatically sharpened when the image size was reduced. Hmm. I'll have to experiment with this later. Oh yeah, also, your "update" makes absolutely zero sense as an analogy. What does the African-…

Eh, no matter what you draw, there will always be someone out there who thinks its "hateful" and gets offended by it. That's been my experience, anyway. I just figure that when I suddenly get more angry comments in an afternoon that I usually get in a month, something might be going on that's worth checking out. I really am curious, by the way. What do you "risk" by posting on deviantart? Are you worried about being associated with this subreddit or something? I don't mean that as an insult, rea…

Hey now, I'm not the one who linked the cartoon to this subreddit. I don't think showing up to respond to a sudden influx of hate mail makes me a troll. I asked because I was genuinely curious, not because I wanted to start a fight with you.

but I risk a great deal by doing so. Um...like what?

Yeah, who exactly are those guys? My only previous experience with them was when the guy who makes their youtube videos challenged me to a debate after I left a comment, and then blocked me from his channel so that I couldn't respond. It was really weird.

Hi! As the guy (yes, "guy" as in "male") who drew this cartoon, I just wanted to drop by and thank you for all the feedback. As nice as it is when a feminist takes the time to let me know how much he or she liked my work, at the end of the day, nothing warms my heart like seeing so many men's rights activists come together to say how much they hate it. Knowing that the bad guys are mad at me is how I know I'm doing the right thing. Not that I'm saying you're bad people, it's just...well...okay, …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
