I see the behaviour this guy tells about men and women repeat over and over again in my life. For example, feminine and masculine communication, how they differ. I've never dated anyone and don't use any of his tools for it. His channel makes It makes it easier to understand men and women.

I don't think it's clever to deny evolutionary psychology. There was no point in history when all of a sudden we were not animals any more. Animal mating preferences still show in us, even if they are good or bad. I agree though that promoting this evopsych advice to dating can be problematic. It can lead men to expect all women to be the same and vice versa. This psychologist doesn't claim them to be the same, he says that most women or men tend to behave a certain way.

We still ought to make mental health care more suitable for men, because the therapy methods are made mostly for women. This is one of the reasons men don't go to therapy as much as women. Men, on average, need more action oriented therapy and women need it to talk about feelings more. Recognizing these differences is when evo psych comes handy

Yes I do. Although some people decide themselves they want to remain single, my great aunt was like that for example.

True. Blue pill and red pill are both about neediness and incel-thinking.

Right now he is not as misogynistic as before. He still holds the same believes of traditional gender roles and traditional marriage. Seriously, how many women and men actually fit the traditional marraige concept completely? Only a few, I think. I also think it's hypocritical to say that he is there to help all men. No. He is helping specific kinds of men to a certain degree at least, but also telling them harmful advice. Eg. Don't cry in front of women, and that your life should be focused on …

Sometimes I wish I was less emotional, sensitive and taking things to heart less. I wish I could be more thick-skinned. Please don't make yourself thick-skinned or less sensitive. It results in emotional repression. You gotta stay sensitive and empathetic even if that trait is not appriciated around you right now. I'm saying this because I tried to numb myself, and it lead me to psychosis at 15. Before psychosis, I was addicted to the false hope of self-improvement. I never got to solve the real…

I liked your rant! I agree, it's not about discipline it's about actually finding pleasure in those "productive" (i hate that word) activities. You are not supposed to always force yourself to engage in them. Sure sometimes, you don't feel like going to the gym, so you suck it up and just go, and you feel better afterwards. However I do think some level of motivation is always necessary to do these things, if there was no motivation we would just fall down. Living a life just around discipline l…

Who decides whether someone is weak? There isn't objective standard for a weak person. turn to vices and complain about your life but aren’t doing anything to improve it. That’s what I meant. Even a person like this is probably at least trying to make things better, but he is taking the wrong approach

What I did was the opposite of what "self improvement" says. I started eating candy again, playing video games and masturbating. I do those in moderation though. I don't know what you could about not feeling good enough for relationships. Maybe try it regardless of feeling not good enough. Even if you are not the "best version of yourself" (which is almost impossible), you are lovable.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
