That's literally what I've been telling you. They think sex and gender are different concepts. They believe sex is material and gender is a construct. The statement you quoted separates them. I guess you're saying that AMAB is better because it includes intersex people who should'nt compete with women because they're too masculine? But I think that's problematic. I just think their assessment of how justified the man's disappointment is would be based on how reasonable they think his attempt was. And they'd probably put themselves in the shoes of the woman. They're just biased I guess. IMO the problem isn't thinking that patriarchy is rooted in biology, the problem is that patriarchy is just one model of gender relations and doesn't show the whole picture.
