1	Feelings of depression and worthlessness... does anyone have any advice? Maybe you should try doing some things you don't think you're going to like at all. My wife turned into a runner when she was in a rut, and is now practicing for an ironman. She never thought she'd like it. I don't know man, sounds like you need a swift kick to the soul, something to wake what's inside you and get you interested in life. If this is just malaise, or what have you, I would say this: when I'm on the theoretical deathbed, I will be pissed if I spent what little time I had feeling miserable. 1	Feminist conference: Excluding on the basis of gender Some of the fire from the feminist movement has come from women who were abused by their husbands. Not too long ago, many did not have jobs or people they could rely on, so many feminist conferences have this rule so cowed females could discuss their situation without getting their ass kicked by their husband when they get home. 0	So, this happened in my women's psychology class this morning.... Maybe I'm just a bad writer. So let me put it this way. And first of all I'm not talking about a patriarchy and you shouldn't assume I'm a feminist, because, although I feel I can relate to them sometimes, I'm really not. I don't think its the same argument, I'm saying then men are physically stronger and, lets face it, a lot of women are getting attacked because of this. So, I'm not saying its right for them to do this, but historically men have always been able to do something like that, if not worse. Women were expected to be good girls even when they had these feelings inside. Now that they can share them they are novel, where we men have been working the same tired routine forever.
