1	The bar is on the floor. I knew a lawyer once who kept the water TURNED OFF in his house. He was so cheap he walked across the street to a convenience store on a busy street every morning to take a shit. Never cooked. Had a few shitty microwave dinners he expected me to eat. I declined. He slept 4 hours a night on weekdays and got up at 4 am to get ready to drive to his law office before court at 9 am, and his office was 65 miles away. Just a total sponge. 4	Tech/nerd guys are not harmless to women. In fact, they can be the most harmful. I dated lots of techie types years ago. 3	14 years... My dad was a lawyer. He told me about a client he had where there were four families waiting for their child support. One family was waiting for it, so they could pay the second family, who could pay the third family, who could pay the fourth family. And that was back in the 60s or 70s. Been going on a long time. 3	14 years... There are lots of people who live in a soap opera. They watch soap operas on TV. They buy the products advertised. They model themselves to look like and act like the actors on soap operas. They think that is the only way to live your life because they have never been around somebody who is calm about dealing with problems. That's my theory, which I got from my dad. Community property states tend to have a more equal distribution of marital property upon divorce. This is from the influence of Spanish law through Mexico. It's far more equal than the English law. Women in Texas have been able to buy and sell real property in their own names, even while married, since 1836. We have separate maintenance for a limited time to help one spouse get on their feet financially.
