4	/r/AskReddit thread about make rape victims sharing their experiences. Very disheartening to see the number of victims who were told "men can't be raped." It takes a while to realise that this attitude is even a problem. I might delete this comment because people know my /u/ but I was raped by my ex at least 50 times and it took me years to realise that that's what it was. Before then I'd just thought of it as "my fiancé forced me to have sex with her", as if that and "my fiancé raped me" were two different things. You have to remember that this case isn't about proving whether or not he committed the crime in the first place, it's about proving whether or not the girl made a false accusation.
