Depends on if they are are legally responsible for the other person's finances or not. I also wouldn't be with someone who kept their finances from me. Doesn't mean that they shouldn't be legally allowed to do that, just that I don't want to be with someone like that. And as I said previously, I don't ask anything of anyone that I don't ask of myself. You don't have to agree with me, of course. I don't see the point in getting married to someone who you refuse to share finances, want to keep sec…

Except the police are not my spouse, and have no right to do so. I would argue that a husband and a wife have a right to know each others' business. I have old love letters, I would never seek to hide them from someone who I was in a relationship with. If they have a problem with me having them, then I don't need to be with them. One of the key giveaways was that she started to "guard" her computer, which she had never done before. You are correct, if the relationship is fully…

I wouldn't be in a serious relationship with someone who wouldn't give me open access to her email. I would give her the same access to mine. It might be "creepy" if you're in the early stages of dating, but I fail to see how it's creepy for a husband to look at his wife's email, or for a wife to look at her husband's. If they have a healthy relationship, they shouldn't be hiding things from each other anyway.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
