I live in Texas and this is not a lie. LOL Anyways, Im assuming you mean preppy/UMC/ white men who are Southern but "modern" with good jobs aged 25-39? Not my target demo really but you have to really hone in that modern Southern wardrobe look and basically hang out strictly where those types are. You have to dress like the "Kendra Scott" crowd for lack of better term. I would not recommend dying your hair tho, sounds like that color is working for you. Also ignore anyone who is poo-pooing your …

Basically...My worst OLD experience was meeting a guy who was not only "not my type" but straight up unattractive. He seemed interested so I decided to give it a go. The whole (15 min) date he talked about why he kept trying to talk to me was only because of my looks/body. "You have a certain body type that I like but is hard to find. You have a big butt, hips, and big breasts but you are not fat". Mean while this man is balding (I actually dont mind bald but he was clinging onto the last remnan…

I want a guy who is masculine and a leader but I would N E V E R date a guy who actually described himself as "red pill". This is the exact kind of nonsense I would expect from such a guy.

Exactly, women are born with all the eggs we will have and most of them die/become non viable before puberty even starts. Fertility, egg count, and egg quality are connected but largely independent. You can have plenty of eggs and struggle with infertility still. IDK why men are even allowed to write this stuff on a female sub. Dont women get banned from TRP instantly?

Use it as inspiration to get your shit together. Don’t compare yourself to other women it always leads to insecurity and unnecessary competition.

You were going to declare bankruptcy over a $1000 debt most people (even 20 somethings in school) could pay off in a matter of months. I see why you’re triggered!

Let a woman say “I agree that courtship is too transactional in modern society. The man shouldn’t pay and we should abstain from sexual activity to avoid corrupting the courtship process” and watch how many men ghost her. Love is only important to men when women start focusing on other things. When women talk about love the only people listening are other women.

You’ll pay a prostitute but won’t provide for a women who will fuck you for the rest of your natural lives, risk her body/life in birthing your children, raise the children, cook, clean and be a companion. She’s suppose to do all of that “for free”. Even sexy men aren’t getting all of this for free, they pay for dates and marriages to the women they want. But fatties and losers addicted to porn and video games on Reddit are deserving, lol.

These same men will pay for patreon, cam girls, and porn subscriptions to women who would never look at them twice but feel slighted at the suggestion that they should pay for dates with a potential wife or girlfriend.

White men are not preferred by women of all races. Black women, generally speaking do not prefer white men to black men. Rather women of all races see them as a viable option whereas non-white men mainly interest their own women and women who have a specific preference for them. I agree tho there is stiff competition for sexy, tall, high earning white men in their 30s.

They are only disappointing and confusing themselves. When it comes to action vs words action (or inactions in this instance) always wins. I also blame this on people (in the US anyways) watching too much TV and likening instagram platitudes instead of going outside and observing the world for what it is. I personally don’t watch much tv (<1 hour per week) and don’t have SM so I miss a lot of that social programming.

Most are blind because they watch too much tv and refuse to open their eyes. They let platitudes and cliche govern their world view of hardcore evidence.

LMAO exactly. These guys live to say this and they get mad ASF when they see a woman past 27 date someone around her age. They want to believe that women's dating lives become as desperate and empty as the typical MGTOW after a certain age but it isnt true. And like you said. These guys keep talking about 18-25 women being better but what does it matter if the man in question can't attract and keep her? So what!?

Freshly minted 29 yo born in late 1989. Im more "refined" (for lack of a better term than my peers) but you are absolutely right. Most of my friends my age are glued to the phone, talk loudly, and aren't particularly serious in conversation etc. Sanpchat/Instagram everything all day everyday. Etc. Millennial men tend to be more "mature" than young millennial women but not by much. Its weird. I like to date 5 years older or from other non-American but still western cultures because that teenage s…

MGTOWs dont want to go their own way. Many were forced in that direction due to lack of options. If they were really going MGTOW they'd talk about anti-male laws, cars, hobbies, and more actionable/productive things. Most talk about relationships and female dating preferences because that is what they are hyper focused on. Anyways, the top poster is correct. Dont breakup/talk it out with him but make yourself scarce. Men are moved by actions not words

Me either. Im 29 and won't look at anyone over 40 (really over 35). These guys love pushing this narrative to make women seeking advice feel as desperate and hopeless as they do.

Yeah for me it’s not bad advice but her focus is off. Exercise, eating right, grooming etc can significant mitigate aging up until maybe lates 30s. At which point even the most dedicated will shows some signs of aging. The real issue is the type of people who are single in their mid 30s aren’t the ones who have been diligently working on themselves soo much that they forgot to find a mate (although that too is a yellow flag which suggests a degree of indifference towards LTRs). Many will have ob…

There are plenty of attractive 20 something men that aren’t simply settling for whatever they can get at 29 (the average marriage age). I never said any woman should get with a 20 year old with nothing. By the time a guy is 28 or 29 he should have direction in his life, a job that can go and buy a house etc. Also equating a homeless man to a guy who has an engineering degree and >$90k salary, just started dermatology residency, or is consulting at Deloitte with a 100k+ salary is crazy. Nobody is…

A lot of single 30 somethings are the older version of 20 something losers. Nothing magically happens when a man turns 30 that causes success. Most (young <26) 20 something women would be happier finding a guy 2-5 years older who has graduated and is working a good job. After all successful 30 something’s where diligent/hardworking 20 somethings.

Both of my serious relationships I considered marrying and we talked about it, at their behest. The guys lost interest and we moved on. I wasn’t avoiding anything. And they are not married to my knowledge. Btw these were the “mature” (30 and 34 to my 26 and 28- I’m currently still 28). Idk where this narrative that women are avoiding relationships comes from. Things just don’t work out. I’m not going to go marry some loser I’ll resent for fear of being 29 and single tho. That’s stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 04:50 PM
2

No doubt. Also take into account. Average age of first marriage for a woman in America is 27...29 for the man. The average age gap is about ~3. The data actually supports people marrying in there late 20s to someone around the same age. Women successfully getting hitched isn’t contingent on getting a guy 7 years older (although I personally wouldn’t mind, haha). I actually agree with the tweet, all things being equal finding someone in the 20s is better. Wider selection, less jaded, opportunity …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 04:44 PM

I personally prefer men ~5 years older but they aren’t necessarily more mature or ready. Idk what these people are talking about. Most did not see marriage as something they had to do in life the way women do. They seriously consider after getting attached/falling in love. They aren’t desperately “searching for a wife”. They look for a companion then decide if they want to propose. I’m talking about secular “Western” men. Not traditionalist, Christians etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/18 04:29 PM

Most men in their mid 30s are not relationship minded. If they find it fine but they aren’t looking for it with he same focus as women in their 20s or 30s. Having money, a car, etc doesn’t necessarily mean he wants it either. He just has more of what the woman looks for.

If a girl doesn’t confirm a date for a night you are available you are free to schedule another date you know.... I mean...there aren’t a lot of good guys online tho. A disproportionate number have poor social skills or looking for free (not date or convo) NSA sex. I hear men say women are shit on these apps all the time. /thread Basically this. A lot of men assume women assess them like they assess us. Men are looks and personality based...you can tell if someone is attractive within seconds of looking at them. You can get a feel for general personality within minutes. Ambition, grit, mental stability, non-clingy provisioning, handling daunting/unexpected situations etc (the traits women screen for) take longer to assess. And if a man is already getting bent out of shape because of a woman took a while to respon…

Have you considered she found another 20% male who’s more her type and ghosted you for him? I’ve definitely done that. Not ghosted but just faded out after a date or two to start a relationship with a man who was a better fit.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/18 02:44 PM
9

That’s actually valid and honest. I don’t even think it’s necessarily insecure either. If a guy tries to make a girlfriend/wife of every woman he dates I’d avoid him. I’d think he has no standards, is needy, and afraid of being alone. He’s just trying to win me over just to have someone, he probably doesn’t feel I’m particularly valuable or special.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/18 10:31 PM

I know two women with high partner count who couldn’t be more opposite. One absolutely is needy, clingy, insecure with attachment issues. The other is just free spirited. The LTRs (2) she’s had in the ten years of us being formers have been 5 and going on 4 years.

These questions aren’t very thought out. Marriage is a consequence of human pair bonding. All societies studied have some form of marriage or formal companionship between a couple (despite the presence of infidelity etc). Formal pair bonding is just a part of being human. Although you could question the extent to which the government interferes with it I don’t think that will change anything either. What makes the partnership “official” is it’s recognition by the government. That’s not to say LT…

Yeah I’m 28 and at this age I’ve seen enough to know I couldn’t fix anything for him. As far as mental health is concerned the person suffering from it needs to care enough to go figure it out. That’s why I left and he agreed. TRP stuff is about attraction and it ain’t gonna fix someone who is truly depressed inside. He gave too much too soon. Also 5 year LDR is almost always doomed to fail. If by some miracle the distance doesn’t kill it, the growing pains of going from never seeing each other IRL to suddenly living together is enough to do it in. The resenting partner needs to get over it or just break up. Nothing else to debate. Neither option is wrong. At the end of the day relationships are based on emotion. Nobody wants that stereotypical “nice” (read: push over) guy or gal. Having this persona almost always correlates with being passive/boring and in some cases approval seeking (needy) and people pleasing. After awhile theses nice guys/girls give off the vibe that they’ll take anything to be with you...ultimately causing you to question “can I do better”. The qualities deemed sexual attractive have never be rooted in "decency and goodness". Decency and goodness are traits that endear you to someone who you already find physically attractive or someone you've gotten to know and are attracted to personality wise. However, I do think people should be concerned that decency and goodness have been kicked down the list of desirable traits in a partner. Replaced by more superficially shit like "most love XYZ music" and other things that do not correlate…

Disagree a lot of it is completely within your control however there are limits to how much you can reasonable improve without devoting tons of time to your appearance. Yes it's largely genetics that give those women the ability to look 30 in their mid 40s. The most an average person can hope for is looking great for their age, and isn't that good enough? This reasoning is hilarious to me. Fine there are high value men that won't marry becuase it will hinder his sexual and financial options. However, applying this to the rank and file man is ridiculous. The typical man (and this includes typical MGTOW, RP, MRA) is checking out of dating and marriage because a lot of them have found out the hard way that many women simply aren't checking for them and the price of finding an average woman willing to give them what they want is too high. To me it's a heuristic for be the BEST version of yourself and don't try hard to be something you're not because you think it'll make you more attractive. For example wearing fitted/stylish clothes instead is sweats is presenting yourself in the best way possible. Going out of your way to act ditzy (when you're naturally well spoken/thoughtful) because you think men like dumb girls is acting like something you're not.

I don't think there's anything weird about having racial preferences, hell I have some. But if your main SMP goal is attracting a specific race that, for the most part, isn't interested in you because of race then I'm kinda wondering what's up with that. And for what it's worth, it's Asian/Indian females who, in my personal experience, are the most race conscious.

Humans evolved as a pair bonding species. It's in our DNA to bond and protect that bond. The more I've grown up and gotten to know myself the more apparent it is that having a stable LTR (and eventual marriage) is integral to my happiness. It's not a popular opinion in this day and age were everyone is being beat over the head with the mantra that you shouldn't look to other people for happiness, especially a romantic partner. I disagree, and I'm very sensitive to any threats to a relationship(p…

I think it's mostly an exaggeration of the true trope that "you can't have it all". I think women should pursue high careers if they truely want it/makes them happy. The only caveat is if they choose something that requires lots of schooling and time then she should plan her personal life in such a way that she makes time for finding a husband/LTR if she wants that. Although many RP guys are harping against career from a mocking perspective the truth is no one really gets personally fulfillment …

With the exception of championing feminism and being a cuckhold* I have read comments, posts or blogs by RP familiar/identified men who do what you've said. TRP wouldn't advise a single man (childless) man to date single mothers but I assure you single fathers who claim to be RP date single mothers. I've read thier comments on Reddit and elsewhere. Almost all men who have a family or have a woman living with them will be some form of beta-bux, that is almost inevitable. Doesn't mean they have to…

Interesting what you describe as MGTOW I would categorize as as the typical application of RP. My understanding of MGTOW is its men choosing for themselves the terms in which they interact with women, ie not at all, STR/ONS/, FWB, maybe LTR but not marriage oriented. The general point being to not get so intertwined with a woman romantically that she has the ability to destroy you socially or financially. Whereas a typical TRP would apply sexual strategy to get what they want from women a MGTOW …

My understanding is TRP is about opening men's eyes to how the SMP works. The point isn't necessarily to become the ALPHA (most men can't be one regardless of if they are familiar with TRP or not) but to avoid walking through life with ones eyes closed wrt how women operate sexually. TRP is "amoral" remember, to that end it doesn't matter what the man does with his knowledge so long as he is coming at his decision through knowledge of what he's getting into.

No. I didn't think they had it easier. I didn't really think about it on a global scale, I was more or less only focused on how things were working for me. I DID notice it was significantly easier for certain girls to get male attention though. I never gave much thought to whether boys had it easier than girls.

The pedigree comment isn't even surprising and I don't blame them to an extent. For 100s of years the upper middle class has been a closed caste. Most dated and married among themselves so even a mediocre woman from a well-heeled family could have the expectation of marrying and UMC man and living a certain lifestyle. However, times have changed and the market is wide open and completely deregulated. Attractive MC/LMC women who know how to conduct themselves a certain way actually have a realist…

To me, feeling or displaying entitlement is about expecting to get something of value while giving little or nothing in return. Honestly, based on my understanding of entitlement I would say no, most people are not entitled in the sense that they expect something for nothing. Most people just overestimate how much value they bring to the table. For instance a "nice girl" usually overestimates how much her personality/demeanor influences a guy to commit and downplays the extent to which her looks…

Nobody is saying that. I personally don't understand the mentality of complaining about something you don't like. You can't come on a forum and declare your preferences (unprompted) and be upset when someone comments on it. You don't have to agree, you just shouldn't be all riled up. I acknowledged that's it's EASIER before 30 so I'm not even sure the point you are making. I said that. I also said that according to your sources a woman meeting a man at 29 and marrying at 31 isnt any more likely to divorce than her younger counter part. Re-read your source. However you insist on arguing around that point (despite its support by your source) for ideological reasons. Which is your right, but it doesn't make for a fruitful discussion at all. There's nothing wrong in what I said. I specifically said a woman would be better marrying the right man at 32 (which is early 30s) than rushing to marry whoever is standing next to her at 25 or younger. I in your post you said late 20s to early 30s (let's say 28 to 32) is panic mode for women but you are using a source that says women who marry in their late 20s to early 30s are least likely to divorce. But younger age is also correlated with impulsivity so how do you parce out a younger woman marrying because of infatuation or any other frivolous reason from one who is actually serious about a life long commitment. Your point is that women around 30 are more likely to settle out of desperation than wanting and my point is younger women are susceptible to that too. I believe male prime is 28-35 years old. Prime for both sexes is defined as the age range at which they will attract the most suitors. It seems men in their late 20s to mid 30s are in demand by the widest range of women. They can date younger and older without trouble.

Bad idea. If a woman is truly interested in higher pursuits she should absolutely go for it. But she should not be devolved into thinking accomplishments attract/make her more deserving of a certain type of mate. Also if she wants to have a marriage/LTR she should prioritize that sooner rather than later, and really plan how a relationship will fit into her other life goals. No man or woman's only purpose in life should be getting married. It's good to have other goals and interests.

Mate guarding is inherent to both sexes. The difference is women mate guard to prevent the males resources from going to another woman and her kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/15 06:27 PM

Assortative mating is a bad assumption because women prefer smarter men and for most men don't select for smart women. That's not to say men prefer or seek out dumber women but its just doesn't seem like a huge priority.

There is truth to this. I remember reading somewhere that men do have more variability when it comes to intelligence (and other psychological/personality traits) than women. There are more male geniuses than female, conversely here are more man idiots (literally) than female. Females have a more normal distribution for intelligence whereas males have a flatter bell curve.

Yes I took a class with the professor that conducted that survey. When it comes to long term pairing men will pick face over body 3 to 1. Whereas for flings/ short-term men prefer a hot body. The conclusion David Buss came to was a woman's face gave more clues to her genetic quality (facial symmetry, clear skin, large eyes, feminine facial features/proportions) than her body. A good body just means she is fertile (or not pregnant) not necessarily that her genetics are great.

Not a man but it depends on what you define as chemistry. For a lot of men looks is the main component of chemistry. For women (and I'm assuming you are one) personality has more to do with chemistry than looks, so a poor personality similar to what you outlined would be less detrimental for a man looking for woman. Now if by chemistry you're talking about sexual chemistry that may be more of a problem. I've heard some men say that starfish sex with a hottie is better than more giving sex with a…

A question Ive always had about women who think taking a man's last name is oppressive is why get married in the first place. As far as I'm concerned the last name thing is only symbolic of what marriage actually (historically) stood for which is 'submitting' yourself to a man. So whats the point in rejecting the symptom (name change) but not the disease (marriage)?

SATC fans finding SJP attractive is more a function of them relating to her character and admiring her fashion than anything else. If you had another woman of equal attractiveness who dressed homely or had a bad/unrelatable attitude she would be harshly criticized for her looks. I generally understand and agree with the principles that inform TRP, for example I believe there are innate biological differences between men and women. That makes sense. For women, the men with the best genes are the least likely to commit. And for men the sexiest/most sensual women also tend to be more promiscuous. Both sexes have to compromise between their desire for two competing ideals.

Beyonce and Jay-Z. There are much better looking rappers than Jay-Z but none of them could really have a shot with Beyonce. Why? Because her status as a female artist tops theirs. Jay-Z is one of the few male hip hop artists whose sales and status outshine Beyonce hence why Bey is with Jay-Z and not Pharrell or Nas. That's one example of female definitely choosing status over raw looks.

Yes, I can understand that. My thinking is she/women in general can not change aging so anything past self-care/aging gracefully isn't worth worrying about. Younger women are going to come and keep coming so it doesn't do a woman any good to be actively worried about her man leaving/treating a younger woman "better". So its a potential problem but not one worth worrying about if she is doing things on her end to ensure relationship success. Anything else is out of her control.

I think the take it slow approach, even if it isnt an ideal mate strategy for the man, benefits him all the same. Taking it slow can work for a less attractive beta trying to get with a woman better looking than he could normally get. However, taking it slow will never help a woman get a man because most men can immediately tell if the woman is up to his standards and a shining personalty isnt going to take her from a no to a yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/15 03:04 PM

The man lacks any and all self respect. It would be one thug if he said he was okay with it because he liked it or was turned on but that's not the reason. He's "okay" with it because it's the "feminist" thing to do. Anyone who would put ideology above their own comfort and well being is brainwashed and mentally compromised to put it mildly.

I believe people have the right to judge others for their personally choices. I don't necessarily believe you should call people out to their faces but if you have a negative reaction to someone's choice of mate/lifestyle, then that is your right as it's equal to having an opinion. However, you don't have a right to berate or publicly shame someone for their choice in mates of it's not illegal/has nothing to do with you.
