I may be wrong here but this is what I feel, some users here use their “freedom of speech” as a way to make derogatory statements about other groups of people and straw-man(idk of this is the actual word) them. I feel so helpless and I watch this sub slowly become hateful. The whole point of mrm and feminism is to make the world a better place , why can’t we just work together without thinking the other is inherently evil. Pointing out double standards are fine when they are factual. I’m also fine with satirical comments and posts, as Long as they make it clear they are satire. But it irks me when the moment a comment steps into the territory of making sweeping statements such as “all women xyz” cause that is just someone who is angry at another gender and clumping all of them together which is what we can all agree is rampant in the feminist movement which should also stop.
