That’s true. Both sexes take on the same risk and same adverse outcomes, but men keep trying because their desire for women outweighs the negative experience. When men have an unpleasant dating experience it will wound them, but after a while their hormones will overtake that negative feeling and they will feel driven to try again. When women have an unpleasant dating experience it sours them, and their hormones just aren’t strong enough to overcome the negative feeling. Women don’t give up appr…

I was in college, but I asked some coworkers from summer jobs where the job was ending and they didn’t go to my school. Sure we were young so those guys were immature, but they immediately assumed I’d want to hook up and were irritated that I’d ask to go on a date and want to wait a while for sex. Just doesn’t work

You can’t separate the two? Do you have romantic interest in everyone you have sexual interest in? Men have women they like romantically and women they lust over, and they aren’t always the same. Men can have sexual interest in women without having romantic interest in them. If a woman expresses interest in a man he now knows she has romantic interest in him he can easily exploit that to get sex from her. Like “eh I don’t like this girl but this will be easy”

So what’s your point? Obviously relationships are grounded in sexual desire and that’s not the problem. The problem to not having any desire for a relationship and using someone’s romantic interest in you to get easy sex and then dip

Does love not exist? Is love not real? Women don’t get enough benefit out of sex for just sex to be worthwhile when sex toys exist. We definitely are not going to be asking men out for meaningless sex when the benefits are so minimal.

Wdym? It wasn’t a sexual relationship. We went on dates and bonded for 10 weeks before having sex and then the next morning he said he never dates women for more than 3 weeks but this time he enjoyed the challenge and then he dumped me lol

Women don’t cold approach average men. Women approach average men who they know well enough to know they like his personality. He’s funny, smart, a problem solver, motivated, etc.

Is 10 weeks of dating and meeting their friends before sex not enough? Also, men are known to enjoy a challenge. They can and will fake serious dating and commitment as a game to we if they can get you. Hence “don’t hate the player hate the game”. They seem to enjoy women who withhold sex even more and they will introduce you to people in their life to make you think “oh he introduced me to his friends or parents, he must really like me” There are good men out there but women have to survive som…

Approached by men I don’t like. All day every day. I’m someone who does not show emotional vulnerability, and I don’t have casual sex or casual relationships. If I ask a man out I really like him, and having him respond by toying with me and leading me on for easy sex is emotionally scarring. Two years ago I had a man pursue me for 10 weeks because he could tell I liked him and he wanted sex. Right when he got in my pants he admitted it. It was such an adverse life experience that I’m just start…

Sorry, he’s right. We do ask men out, but i think men miss what we consider to be obvious queues. In college I had a male classmate I was very into, and it seemed he was into me too. He never came to study groups, but once I started showing up consistently he did too. I used to go to class early and sit on my laptop, and sometimes he’d show up to the classroom before my class to hang out for a few minutes before leaving for his class in a different room. One day when I was walking home I passed …

I agree with you, I wish women could approach the way men do. Unfortunately I tried approaching men in college, and quickly learned this is a terrible mistake. When you’re a woman and you approach men they think less of you. It’s not the “chad” types either, men who are average have the same thing happen for some reason. Men assume a woman that approaches is easy, desperate, obsessed with him, etc. and they toy with her feelings and use her for sex. Then women learn it’s a bad idea and stop doin…

I can only comment on western culture, but women aren’t criticizing men more, they’re criticizing men differently and publicly. In the past, women would have house parties where they all got together in someone’s living room and laughed about how stupid their husbands were while doing embroidery. This is still the main topic when I spend time with just my female relatives over 60. They say it’s “just how men are”: inconsiderate, ungrateful, and unhelpful. It was an extremely common sentiment thr…

If I know I’m the one who made most of the trash, I’m taking out the trash myself. Sometimes I do big projects and those projects create a lot of trash. If he is the one who made most of the trash I expect him to take it out without me asking. If I have to ask him to take out the trash he made I’m already mad because I don’t want to monitor him. If the trash is full and stinks I don’t want to hear that he will do it in the next 5 hours. I can’t throw anything else away. I would find this very in…

Do you mean how men can’t say they aren’t attracted to fat girls but women are allowed to say they don’t like short guys? Yeah, personally I don’t like the body positivity movement. It was marketed as a feminist movement, but all it did was censor the internet and tell girls to be curvy to be sexy. Telling men to change what they say about women’s bodies reinforced the idea that a woman’s body existed for male approval. I think a more feminist approach would have been to teach young girls that m…

This article says what I’ve been saying for a long time: patriarchy and marriage were designed to make it possible for average men to get mates when they otherwise would have never gotten one. It’s standard across species for very few males to get a chance to mate. “female emancipation required a return to the marginalization of the least sought-after men. Male marginalization, here, denotes the exclusion of men from pair-bonding and reproduction... A high proportion of men could secure a mate, …

Western women are bitter because they’re paying 50/50 while doing 100% of the mental load of household management. Men do household chores but usually the wife has to be the “house manager” and keep track of everything. So she works all day and then has to tell her husband what chores he needs to do. She remembers things like grocery shopping, planning the meals for the week, remembering doctor’s appointments and making sure the house stays stocked so you don’t run out of toilet paper. It’s a lo…

No, this idea has gone mainstream in the last year. I work with college age kids in the summer and the young women have been parroting a lot of the TikTok phrases I’ve gotten on my own feed. The women’s behavior is noticeably different and they are not coupling up like they did in past summers. I had a conversation with two of the young women a few weeks ago. One of them said “the guys try so hard to get a girl over the summer because it is a boost to his status, but its like…embarrassing for th…

A few things here Porn involves real people and is known to be an industry rife with abuse. It is impossible to know what the actors are being put through behind the scenes. That’s why it’s harder to argue written content is just as bad. It’s someone’s imagination going onto paper. If it is animated….schoolgirl content is still pedo content that tries to claim it isn’t by saying they are “barely legal 18”. The fantasy is still taking advantage of a naive teen. Sure, equal rights aren’t natural because rights aren’t natural. We made it all up. Money is made up, but in our world money equals resources and letting women make their own money gave women a way to obtain their own resources. Most animals in the wild obtain their own resources like food and shelter. Mating is typically a separate act that is not required by the female to obtain means for survival. There are instances of other primates engaging in prostitution which is interesting, but general…

I was referring to women having equal legal and financial power. Women weren’t able to opt out of dating and marriage in the past, but now they can. In the US, men and women have the same legal and financial independence. Neither gender is forced to rely on the other for money or housing. It isn’t rigged in women’s favor because everyone is coming to the table with equal freedom. Men desire women and relationships more than women desire men and relationships. That is unfortunate, but it’s not li…

I think you may be naive about how traditional patriarchal cultures operate. It’s not going to be like dating in a western culture but on easy mode. Traditional women are not soft and they hold men to a strict patriarchal standard. You must pay for everything, then send home even more money to support her extended family. You are expected to never cry, never show weakness, never fail to provide the things she wants, and never ask for help. She will be a sweet caring wife as long as you are provi…

The dating market has changed in the west, but it’s because women have the same power men do. Average men got wives easily in the past because women had less power like the right to own property or open a line of credit. Men had leverage that they don’t have anymore. The reason passport bros get made fun of is because they can’t compete in an equal dating market. They’re going to a market where it is rigged in their favor. We see them as sleazy losers because they use their wealth and privilege …

So you’re saying that the split is more like if a man worked 10 hours a day and didn’t do home tasks, and the wife worked 8 hours per day and came home and did two hours of home tasks. Then they both worked 10 hours in one day. What I’m saying is that the women I’ve known have held the opinion that they would rather do 9 hours of work and 1 hour of chores, and have her husband do 9 hours of work and 1 hour of chores. She doesn’t want him to be gone working overtime and extra hours while she does…

Women have made it clear that they don’t value the overtime worked or the extra money coming in as much as they value their husband working less hours and doing more domestic labor. They have made it clear that the labor they want men to do are the frequent tasks like meal prepping, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, packing lunches, and doing laundry. The infrequent tasks like mowing the lawn or getting an oil change do not count because they do not lighten her load. She can dedicate two hour…

It could be a love languages thing. I express love through acts of service. Physical gifts do nothing for me unless the gift is something that he got for me because he noticed I had a problem and bought me the solution. I can be physically attracted to a man, but if I do things for him to show affection, and he does nothing for me, I come to the conclusion he must not like me and I end it. If a man is hot but does nothing for me he is a hookup and not a husband.

Women initiate 69% of divorces, and women are the ones leaving the dating market. It’s one thing to say men are trash cuz it’s trendy, but to actually divorce your husband and stop dating isn’t something that happens just because women decided to start saying men are trash. Is it really because they never talked about it beforehand? I think it’s more likely they discussed it beforehand, the husband promised to do night feedings and change diapers, and then when the baby arrived he weaseled his w…

If every woman dating men is saying this then there might be something to it. There’s no way every woman is just dating a small amount of incompetent men and overlooking it. Maybe there is actually a pattern where men function very well alone, and then as time passes in a relationship they start to rely on their partner and slip into laziness. Happens to all humans honestly, that is why lifestyle creep happens to people when they make more money. They get more comfortable and are less discipline…

I don’t have a husband. I’m going off of my experience with all the husbands I’ve met while working with children and watching my friend’s dads growing up. They sit back and let their wives do everything because she knows if she doesn’t do it it’s not getting done. When it is child related they let her take on the burden of remembering everything and scheduling everything like doctor’s appointments, transportation plans, etc. At least once a week I call a dad and he says “oh, I don’t know that. …

Bad in bed, and they don’t do their fair share around the house or attempt to seduce their wives. You want lots of sex all the time? Put the work in to make me want it, too. Women usually like lots of sex in the beginning and lose interest in their husbands because he’s like another child to clean up after. After kids he doesn’t even try to take her on dates or make her feel special. She works, comes home, cooks, does the dishes, the laundry, puts the kids to bed, and then he wants to climb on t…

Also hard to keep it together. Cost of living is so high and incomes are so low that I have had my shit together for at least 3 years, but if I lose my job I won’t be able to afford rent past one additional month. It’s not mathematically possible to save up 6 months of rent payment on my income and still afford basic living expenses.

Trad wife is a job paid for by the husband. That’s why he pays for everything. Go hire a cook, a housekeeper, a nanny, an egg donor and surrogate, a personal assistant, and a prostitute and let us know how much it costs. Men with tradwives save money from the arrangement and statistically have longer healthier lives. Traditional men are not oblivious to reality, and they do understand the game. I think it depends on the size difference between the partners. Women are usually smaller than their male partner and men are stronger so I think women being hurt by hard pounding might be smaller than the men. I’m a big strong sturdy lady. I’m…spacious…and I’ve never met a man whose penis hurt me LOL. I demand the jackhammering for my Gspot and don’t get much from slow sex

How would sex for everyone be achieved without prostitution? Let’s say sex is now a human right and prostitution is legalized. Awesome, men can have sex with women they are attracted to now. But then Chads realize women will pay them for sex. What happens when they become the sex workers? Women realize they now can have sex with Chad, no strings attached, and it’s guaranteed that he will try to get them off in a safe, clean environment. Rule 1 be hot, rule 2 don’t be not hot I’ll agree that men have it harder because they’re supposed to sense when to make a move, but you’re placing too much blame on women. Women aren’t approaching because men say they like when women ask them out, but when we do the man thinks we’re desperate and loses respect for us. They say yes even if they don’t like us because they think it’s an easy chance to pump and dump, so it’s impossible to tell if he likes you until after you’ve had sex. They’ll dat…

The advice I always receive from married people is “go live your life and do what you love and you’ll meet a man along the way!”, aka show up to shit you like and hope he’s there. I have done exactly that and have been single forever, so just showing up obviously doesn’t work for me either. I don’t mind taking initiative and making the first move, but I wish married people could give actual decent advice on how to mingle beyond wishing upon a star.

Yes, I’ll admit first introductions are much easier as a woman because we are not seen as threats. I used to see events and think “oh that’s a great couple activity, I’ll remember this for a date someday”, but then I realized I’m wasting my life waiting for someone I may never meet. They aren’t couples. I see my comment wasn’t clear about that. Very rarely a woman is brought by her spouse, but it’s not easy to convince someone to go whittle sticks in the wilderness if they don’t already like it. That wasn’t my point. I brought up my hobbies because they are heavily male dominated. Online forums for my hobbies (like bushcraft) are about 80% men and 20% women. In person meetups in my city are usually 60% men and 40% women, so women are already disproportionately represented. When I speak to these people I find that the men at the events are extremely extroverted, have robust friend groups, more than one club, and are in a relationship. Women have been doing these types of things for their husbands for so long that it’s just expected of a decent wife. “Choose better” scares women out of the dating scene and makes dating impossible for good men. Bad men/ players know how to be charming and a good partner until the woman is invested. I’ve seen women call this “future faking”. The red flags aren’t immediately visible because players learn what tips women off and they hide those qualities. What are you saying with the image? Dolly was birthed by a live surrogate, not an artificial womb. A more apt example is Adriana Smith, whose son was in the NICU for months and will have health issues for life. I don’t really care if men have sex robots or not. I think very few men would get them. Hard disagree on this post. I’d rather get it all in a lump sum than rely on the father to pay every month like he has been ordered to do. Child support can be very difficult to get when you’re dealing with monthly payments and I don’t want to trust the father with the funds. He could have an injury and be broke in 2 years, and you’ll never see the money he was ordered to pay. The best option is to put most of the funds in a high yield account for college, and use remaining funds to put your kid…

They don’t, my comment was about why a woman would leave. If a man chooses to leave it’s because his needs aren’t met either. For a relationship to work (and be happy) both partners needs need to be met.

If you’re a good partner who considers her emotional needs and pleases her sexually, she isn’t likely to throw that away for a random guy with more money. Especially if you have kids together and a marriage. If you fail to meet her needs and aren’t a good partner there is a chance you’ll be replaced, but realistically she will just leave you to be single because she doesn’t benefit from the relationship anymore anyways.

I got what you were saying and agree with you, don’t know how OP isn’t getting it. OP, he’s saying women want the most powerful man in the room, regardless of how it affects them. If a woman is worth $30 million dollars, and the only options available to her are a man worth $1 million, a man worth $25 million, or a man worth $15 million, she will want the man worth $25 million. That won’t make a power imbalance for her, because she is still the richest.

It’s really satisfying to see the female hypergamy thing flipped 😂

The argument was actually that men and women both feel alienated and hurt because the opposite sex looks for things that can be considered shallow. “I’m not going to sit here and act like his career, money, housing, and future aren’t important. They are important to me in the way a perfectly toned hairless body, manicured nails, flawless hair, and a good sense of style are important to men. You can love someone without it but you’d much rather bag someone with it.” Men want beauty, sex, and a ma…

On a first date? A polite thank you and if the date went well I’ll kiss them goodbye at the door

As a woman, if you switched the “man” and “woman” and wrote a post about how only women unconditionally love men and men only love women for their sex and labor, I would say it resonated with me. Men and women both develop feelings of anger and alienation towards the opposite sex when we have a broken heart. I find it comforting that we all experience this agonizing longing for each other. I’m not going to sit here and act like his career, money, housing, and future aren’t important. They are im…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
