Because a societal climate has been created whereby males who complain are easily dismissed and seen as bitter, pitiful and not to be taken seriously. When it's women doing the complaining, however, it's not so easily dismissed. People just take women more seriously when they say their is a problem.

Urgh, everything about that article made me want to scream. The last paragraph about improving yourself is fully correct, I'll give her that.
