| – | Asian men and black women are the least desirable dating demographics in America.IVAR!! Ignoring everything and saying hello son of Ragnar | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/06/21 01:23 AM |
| – | Asian men and black women are the least desirable dating demographics in America.Im fenty 420/430 with 4b/4c hair. I have more non-black men complimenting my hair than black men. I had locs for 2 years though and non-black men ignored me lol. So.. there’s that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/06/21 01:17 AM |
| – | Men get 1 thing wrong about the nice / douchey debacleRight. I went on a trip with my ex to New Orleans (obligatory pre-covid disclaimer), he was always super loving and gentle with me but he physically snapped at the waitress to get him a drink. My mouth dropped and the waitress looked at me like “….wtf?” I instantly started apologizing because I had genuinely never seem him act like that before and I was mortified. EDIT: To say that I broke up with him the second we flew back to our city. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/21 08:41 PM |
Is Feminism only a addon to american conservative christianity?Interesting perspective. I’ve always seen liberal feminism as “everything is feminism” It seems consistent because it can’t be defined, at least in my mind. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/06/21 12:57 AM
Why do men become so self-destructive without access to women? So would you say because women lack large amounts of testosterone that we can find meaning/value in work and day to day life? Of course, women can be depressed too but I honestly didn’t realize it was this bad | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/06/21 02:43 PM
Why do men become so self-destructive without access to women?Genuine question- I’m a bit confused on why men don’t find value/meaning in their work. Is it like work/money is the input and wife/sex/family is the output? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/06/21 02:38 PM
An observation about current societyThat has not been my experience. I am on a “we’ve been taking the same exercise class for months” friendly with a few women and I met all of them between March-now. I know enough about them, recognize their cars, know at least their husband/boyfriend’s names. Although I still wear a mask in grocery stores and in/out restaurants, multiple men approach me and/or say more than hi. I find that people talk to me at the same level or more than pre-pandemic. I could also just not be used to it. Edited … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/05/21 11:56 PM
The uncomfortable truth in the dating realm: women have to be, men have to become.I think we agree. My initial response was about dating/relationships although I can see why it looked to be about any and everything. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/21 02:33 PM
The uncomfortable truth in the dating realm: women have to be, men have to become.See DreamsofWishes post below. It’s spot on for me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/21 12:22 PM
The uncomfortable truth in the dating realm: women have to be, men have to become.100% same. I was chasing more money, more power, etc but it was so volatile and unstable. I did okay, but I was miserable. Now that is defined my success by stability and quality of life, I have much more success | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/21 12:21 PM
The uncomfortable truth in the dating realm: women have to be, men have to become.Oof. Yes. Being on the other side of the glass now, I definitely see it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/21 01:37 AM
The uncomfortable truth in the dating realm: women have to be, men have to become.I absolutely agree. I think women SHOULD have goals and accomplishments but not at the cost of losing ourselves in the process. Same for men as well. I think it is bitterness when women try to define and make their success the way that men do. Sure, it works for some but it’s not realistic or healthy for women, in my opinion. That was where my jadedness came in, why wasn’t I as successful as men when I did XYZ like they did. I couldn’t hack it, so I stopped. Now success comes easier to me becaus… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/21 01:35 AM
Where are these men with the terrible personalities that women talk about ?Genuine question- The average person spends 8 hours working (not including commuting) and 8 hours sleeping. If a person is spending the weekends drinking, drunk, and recovering from drinking + playing video games every night, how many hours could their partner realistically expect to spend with them daily and/or weekly? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/05/21 03:56 PM
Where are these men with the terrible personalities that women talk about ?Online dating apps, mostly. Some family members LOL. I’ve met a few poor personality types but they were in places I would expect to find them- clubs, gas stations, uni, etc. EDIT: I forgot that I’ve met at few at work. Y’all... don’t hate me if you’re in this profession but the 3-4 of them that I encountered were the tech support/ IT guys who basically worked in the closet and only came out to help people. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/05/21 03:41 PM
Being Chad isn't all it's Cracked up to be.I agree. I would also think that it’s culture and/or class that influences the level of terrible life choices. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/05/21 05:45 PM
Will there ever be a point where people are willing to acknowledge what their gender does that hurts the other? What are you willing to acknowledge that your gender does? Will admitting our truths lead to a better dating environment? Why or why not?I’ll start- I am willing to admit that women will use a man’s affection of her to benefit her life without the intention of genuinely returning it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/21 09:12 PM
Female dating coaches are the most selfish people on Earth.This. I’ve always wondered how people quantify it. Is it outwardly expression? IG posts? Dollars spent? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/05/21 04:01 PM
Is this an example of ‘negging’?Yes- this is negging. Negging is insulting a woman to make her feel like the man is doing her a “favor” by hitting on her. I remember being at dinner with my friends when this man came up to our table and started talking to us. He was telling jokes and we were laughing, knowing he was going to hit on one of us but not sure who yet. He turns to my friend and says, “yeah, my boys normally wouldn’t talk to a girl with acne scars but you’re really cute”. She laughed and genuinely brushed over it, me… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/05/21 11:37 PM
Men do care about a woman's occupation. (CMV)In my anecdotal experience, most men have cared about what values/experiences I’ve learned from my career vs my actual career title. I’m in client facing tech solutions- so because of that, one could be expected to be good at being calm under pressure, engaging, empathetic, flexible, able to see the big and small picture, solving problems, taking feedback from a variety of sources, budgeting, etc. If I was a nurse- I would hope to be nurturing, calm, also good under pressure If I was a lawyer- a… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/05/21 04:39 PM
