I’m very familiar with the feelings you’re having right now and yes they do suck. It slowly gets better but you have to put in effort to just get out and do things. Make your apartment your own place with your personality so it’s a comfortable place to be. If your looking to be around people use apps like Meetup or whatever to find events with others looking for the same or see if there are any local clubs involving things you’re interested in. Just live life day by day. As you get other things …

Sorry about your situation man. I’m currently going through the same. Moved into my own place last week and it’s been hard. Our cause for separation was lack of communication and emotional connection (all on my end). We’re still communicating every couple days and friendly with each other so that’s making me optimistic as well but I do question if it’s just a pipe dream. To cope, I’ve severely increased my gym time and started eating better when my appetite started coming back. Professional coun…

It’s not an easy road. I’m walking it day by day right now. Moving out will be rough, especially when you find yourself alone with your thoughts at night. People will say get back into a hobby and stuff but even that takes time. I’ve found some relief in spending time with close friends, even if it’s just for a hour or so. Don’t turn to alcohol or anything else. If possible, seek some sort of professional counseling.

Man sorry your going through this. I’m currently going down the same road. Moved out last Friday and I’m just trying to get life figured out now. Just being by myself is extremely hard. Basically, not having someone to just sit and do nothing with really sucks. I reached out to friends and it’s helped a lot. Already got plans for Monday night and this weekend. One thing I’ve already kinda figured out is that sitting around watching Netflix isn’t going to solve anything. Getting some sort of soci…

So after last night I found it just to feel weird. Tried to play guitar a little and some other stuff but just couldn’t get into it so I just sat there watching Netflix. Reaching out to old friends and just talking has been a huge positive though. Especially since all my friends are military and a large percentage of us have divorce history.

I’m about 3 weeks into a similar situation. Luckily we didn’t own a house together so I immediately started looking for a place of my own which I just moved into Thursday. Being in the same house for awhile was definitely hard for me. Some nights we were very friendly and chatted about our day or whatever. Other nights there was tension in the air for whatever reason. I just stayed nice and respectful to ensure I didn’t make things worse. It’s a rough road man but fill your time with whatever ac…

Ya things around the house never really settled down for me until about 8 usually. Always trying to take care of something like cleaning up after dinner and getting my stuff ready for the next day. Usually the wife would get in the shower about 8ish and I’d go hang out in the garage (my man space) for about 15 or 30 minutes just to wind down. Thinking back it was a little exhausting. That’s the kind of insight I needed man. Thanks

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
