| 1 | I'm new around here, and just saw something on facebook which made me seek this page out.The memes are just a means of ridiculing that which merits ridicule, on a "laughing matter" so to speak. There will be intelligent discourse and unintelligent drivel on an un-moderated sub. Of course, your point holds true, but if the community finds something enjoyable, they'll keep it up top. I've seen some incredibly intelligent discussion on r/atheism, as well as here. I haven't been an avid browser of either sub for incredibly long, but I've definitely seen more intelligent debate than unintelligent debate. Regardless, welcome to the sub.
