All that is super fucked. But I’d like to give some good news on the machete wielding rapist from Montana - she was recently sentenced to 20 years in a psych ward for sexual intercourse without consent. Probably a weak sentence yes, but she is now a registered sex offender and has received the maximum sentence for her crime as a court-determined mentally unfit individual.

Yes, I agree that circumcision should be outlawed on the same basis of FGM and should be a choice made by the individual. And that sounds awful, is there an article on this?

I’m in Canada myself so I’m not much of an expert either. It seems the reproductive rights are the same for both males and females in Canada, save of course the right to an abortion, and thus the right to self determine the size of ones family. There is inequality here, but I don’t think that it is deserving of drastic change.

I was more thinking legal rights not societal rights. And abortion depends on where you are in the us. I was more taking issue with the statement that “men have none”, because while it may be true that we have fewer (such as forced genital mutilation), we definitely don’t have none.

Specifically 3. Genuinely curious, in what way do women have more rights to their bodies than men do? Edit: boys, no need to downvote, there’s no hostility here

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
