fewer than you 😄 not many, and I usually get broken up with quickly because I'm "boring," "stable", and the relationship became "predictable." never mind that all the women i've dated are similar personality-wise!

I am worried about this, but I don't think you can force women to have more children, and men to raise more children, just to be foot soldiers against the takeover of theocracy/idiocracy.

and it is talked about... here on reddit, X, and online, as well as on these podcasts! the ideas and the phenomenon they describe and model are real. Perhaps there are certain distortions which don't match reality. we should discuss those discrepancies here. but just because don't talk about it IRL, or are scared to talk about it, doesn't mean it's false.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 08:07 AM

It obviously depends on how you were raised, but I'm referring to the social conditioning of feminism, which is the dominant ethos and has been for the last 50 years. If you were raised in church or some other traditional society, it's different. You may have been raised to be feminine. The point about hormones is different. That requires you to actually think before you act, notwithstanding your urges.

More than 2 or 3 (generously). After that your pattern recognition skills should kick in -- if you chose not to listen to your parents, or society's, advice before that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 10:53 PM

he may or not be, but the point is, she had to go through a succession of other men first to find this guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 04:54 PM

i don't think he is, but i actually think it's really intuitive for women, and aligns with what society preaches is noble, just, and virtuous. choosing should be easy, but they choose against their better judgment for "tingles" and thrills and excitement, instead of compatibility, reason, and good sense. in contrast, because of social conditioning that women are better/soft/gentle, men have to learn to do the opposite of what they're told to woo and satisfy women. they have to learn, but women s…

if it's not an improvement, then women won't settle for them. women have to feel they are moving up in some way. only pushback i have on is that women don't value virtue or being a good person, that never factors into the equation.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 04:25 PM

this is right. we can at least say, with certainty, that the presumption that women are powerless, inexperienced, and being manipulated by default is not valid in many cases. like in this one. women are generally more skilled at manipulation and subterfuge, no matter their age. that only gets worse as you get older.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 04:36 AM

good luck with that. life ain't fair, in case you haven't noticed.

they are just statistically rare. but somehow every single woman has dated one.

i think he is sarcastic. raise your standards and match with fewer, but actually base it on compatibility, traits, and values. not tingles.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:15 PM

yah that is the hard part, the real skill. i barely know how i've ever done it, myself
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/26 10:22 AM

yah but that is considered FAR less distasteful than what you're suggesting. all the women have a visceral reaction to OF/sex work, whereas marrying up or marrying rich is laudable. Ie, that's what women are supposed to do. It's a viable path for many. Meanwhile OF is not viable for most.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 02:47 AM

this is a dumb argument. the real way to make this point is to say that women can always date or marry rich, and never have to do a thing for the rest of their lives. and even if they choose to work, it will be easier than men's work -- physically or mentally. in essence, they have a pathway to a much easier life than a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 12:32 AM

... ok you're not directly responding to the prompt. men have to do this, while women do not, yet we're constantly lectured by the media that women have to do more "emotional labor" in relationships. pretending that men don't have to do more to please their women is obtuse. ever heard the saying "happy wife, happy life?" what do you think that means? courting and pampering your woman is burdensome, and often silly -- why does an adult constantly need to receive gifts and flowers and chocolate?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/26 10:07 AM

so much tougher. it takes years of dedication and discipline to become hot as a man. whereas attractive women don't have to do a thing; nature/god has smiled upon them.

sorry, i wasn't able to respond earlier. this reddit keeps on deleting posts for some reason. no, you wouldn't necessarily know about past trauma to start. some people define themselves based on their trauma; for them, you'd know. For the rest, if you're strategic at all you'd hide it. although my personal circumstances aren't super relevant to a general discussion of whether multiple partners sullies one's ability to love, as it happens I have no trauma at all. Perhaps that's because I'm a man …

i have never understood this as well. I think the truth is that many poor people just lack financial discipline and self-restraint. That's why they always are buying stuff, on credit, and then saying it's difficult to make ends meet. In my family, and in my generation, you cut back LONG before you ended up back against the wall.

you've left out another part. there's no pressure on women to be good at a profession or trade, to become excellent at something. they can coast on their father's and husband's hard work and achievements.

The media and women have beaten us into thinking "men have to do better" and "women are always right" and "women are smarter than men, listen to them always."
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/26 05:42 AM

from the male perspective -- too many previous partners, too many failures, too much trauma and baggage. can't/won't give her heart away anymore, can't love as deeply. all she can give is a marriage of convenience and desperation. from the female perspective, she won't be happy in any relationship once she's been with 10-20 guys, many of whom (and certainly as a composite) were better than the loser guy. he'll never measure up in some dimension, and perhaps all. and she'll let him know it in sub…

No woman wants a virgin incel, of course. I don't think any woman would deal with that just because of his job. I think the point is, we're at a societal impasse because of this whole dynamic. The ran through woman doesn't want a loser incel, but can't get the chad to marry her. That may be her only option. The loser can't get any woman and won't settle for scraps after she's had her fun. But that's his only option. Neither likes this result, so we'll end up with a lot of people staying single a…

they'll also exhort that you just need to "take a shower and get a haircut," ie, guys are disgusting and deserve their lot. I personally don't know a single incel guy who doesn't shower and isn't clean. Many are hyper clean and have good hair, but they're missing one physical attribute -- height, face, race. And income (though I don't think that's disqualifying). Sexual and reproductive success has nothing to do with morality; it may even be negative correlated.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 03:43 PM

yah, you will get clowned if you reveal you have difficulties dating. they always say "it's your fault", "skill problem," or "just get a haircut." Instead of honestly broaching the real topics -- confidence, height, income, race, face, and good hair are what women are after. If you lack any of one of them, you'll struggle in dating. But God forbid you say so. Yes, I can't even say this to my close female friends. They have gotten hot at me just skirting the issue. As a previous post said, for so…

That conditioning more generally preaches that men/the system/the patriarchy are responsible for everything in a woman's life. That they have no agency or responsibility for their decisions. Not just the romantic ones. So of course we live in a fallen, degraded moral condition. No one is responsible for anything anymore.

such an easy choice. age is secondary to these things.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 06:30 AM

i wouldn't worry too much about what women think, but men should stop believing that women are more empathetic. they are not, emphatically. or just, or moral, or kind.

the not existing phenomenon is so real. i've had so many attractive (but normal) girls treat me like i don't exist, or am not human. but male celebrities (actors and retired sports stars) that i've bumped into socially have treated me SO well, with respect and even invited me to hang as a future friend. i've always been blown away by their kindness but the above-average woman is quite awful, i'm afraid.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 04:49 PM

i do think it's a good strategy, and the right thing to do, to be open to being friends. you might learn something and at a minimum, you never know who she might know.

Men not only have to be superior in some way (usually every way), but have to put in WAY more effort, too. The woman is the prize. Some of this is nature and will never change but most of it is recent -- modern hoeflation.

It's broader than just right tail IQ/creativity, which males dominate (not 51% dominate; there are barely any women of any note). Proficiency in any skill, even if it's not high-intelligence or high-strength, is dominated by men. if it was just looks you can argue it's eugenic and not so bad. but since women actively seek out antisocial, destructive, and even wicked men for casual sex (they don't just select for looks), this unregulated desire will lead to societal degeneration. it is bad for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 02:44 PM

this is the right advice of course, but do you see why this is a social issue if 50% of women are like this now?

for the record, it is normal. all cultures throughout time and history have valued female purity. modern society bizarrely says sluttiness is sacred and purity is for losers and then tries to shame anyone who thinks differently.

it's not about looks per se. it's about her desire, love, and commitment to you. the higher her body count, it's going to be less (and therefore less over time). how do you deal with this? you don't date experienced women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 12:37 AM

disagree. money is not the only form of currency. status/recognition/fame/intelligence are highly valued in their own right. money is typically a product of those things. academia is the one place where that's not usually the case, but a professor who is well-known and highly-regarded beats some corner office desk jockey any day.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 04:27 PM

this is really accurate and astute. women are hooked onto the hedonic treadmill. they constantly want more, and the minute you can't give it to them, you're out. early in life that's just novelty and sex, later in life it's money and things. i'd like to meet a woman with actual values, a virtuous woman. still haven't

many do think sex is the solution to their problems, but for most men, it is just seen as a physical need like food. but there is a need, and satisfying it allows you to progress up the chain to more valiant and meaningful pursuits.

i don't understand or accept your definition of the term "contextual alpha," but if what you're trying to say is that a man has to be good at something, talented, skilled, competent, wealthy, powerful -- actually accomplished in some sense. Whereas a woman need only be alive and young and pretty to be valued and sought after. Then that point obviously stands.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 04:29 PM

why do you assume this is propaganda? why not make the simpler assumption -- that media types choose what most people like and want to see? beauty is universal and objectively more desirable and attractive ("good"). you don't need someone to tell you what is good, natural, and beautiful.

i don't understand how this is misogynistic or hatred. Women have different strengths, and should try to better embody feminine qualities. It's men's job to lead in these areas. One of the major reasons society has fallen is because we've forgotten our nature and don't value the divine feminine anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/25 02:43 AM

Morality, justice, logic and ethics are masculine properties upheld by men only. You won't be able to convince women why these things matter and why they should stop promoting chaos, disorder, and immorality. It is up to men to uphold these virtues and to force, and enforce using strong social censure on women to ensure the society holds together. Otherwise all is lost and this kind of degeneracy will only worsen.

do you not see how these mating habits will lead to greater degeneracy, social costs, and in the extreme, the destruction of civilization itself? the objection isn't personal or self-interested. this is extremely destructive and degenerate behavior by women and should be censured in the strongest terms.

That's what the debate comes down to, I think. I wasn't trying to be (too) inflammatory. I personally think that is a long time -- China transformed itself from a poverty-stricken nation to a gleaming superpower in half that time. Just 2 generations. Willpower and ability can do magical things in the aggregate. Not necessarily for every person. Circumstance matters a lot for individuals. So congrats on being the first woman to graduate college in your family! That is a great accomplishment.

what? the Bronte sisters were writing 200 years ago. Elite academic men have had daughters for hundreds of years, and all schools have admitted women for nearly a century. When it comes to innovation, there is no question of being "allowed" to do something, unless the society is tyrannical and censorious.

Why do gals perform comparatively better than guys in school? In what fields? All the most difficult fields (STEM, philosophy, law, finance, academia) are dominated by men. Not even talking about genius/elite level performance, which is all men. At that level, literally every single advance, discovery, or theory in every single field has been by a man. You have to squint really hard to look for one or two things by women. Girls get more BS college degrees in worthless fields, but why does that m…

yah, I'm afraid so. That women are not capable of objectivity, rationality, and self-awareness has been the view of many learned thinkers and philosophers, from Socrates to Schopenhauer.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 11:41 PM

once lots of men die out and live miserable lives of servitude. yah, i think men accept that, we just don't want to hear women claim to be more empathetic or whatever. women are hot for social justice causes that are trendy but beyond that, don't seem to care about anyone but themselves... it is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 10:44 PM

it's not just the initiating. that's easy. men also have to be skilled, talented, accomplished, intelligent, fit and wealthy... all things that have to be done and earned. Women don't have to lift a finger to be desirable and to have the world at their feet. A man has to make something of himself to even be considered worthy, as a man and as a suitor.

I wouldn't go that far to say it's garbage. I think it's just a fact that all cultures have traditionally, and organically, valued the same things in dating/courtships/relationships/gender roles. Some cultures are more fanatical and ruthless and authoritarian/restrictive about it. Others are more tolerant, permissive, and chill (for lack of a better word). But I don't think there's a big difference in terms of values. OP mentioned virginity as one example. All cultures prize female purity; this …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/25 07:41 PM

I have no issue with this female behavior, with hypergamy and the misandry, but can we at least be spared the lies about how women are more empathetic and kind? modern women are more cruel, more heartless, more manipulative, more devious, more extractive. I wish it weren't so, but it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 10:45 PM

it's mostly conjecture in the evolutionary psych literature, it's not what you'd call hard evidence. but here's a very recent article discussing how monogamy made western civilization. cases of forced polygamy would be relatively rare, as you're referring to, would only really hold for apex males or political leaders who were also tyrants (ie, kings only). the more relevant question today is indeed whether hypergamous women would prefer polygyny/polyamory to a more stable union with a beta male.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 06:52 AM

yes, which is why all advanced societies have discouraged polygyny/polygamy.

let's see how our virtue signaling white knight responds to your brilliant analogy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 09:46 PM

You frame the problem in an understandable and relatable way, but isn't the solution here for women to just be more virtuous, and reasonable about her expectations, in her 20s? NOT have flings / be slutty and only pursue serious relationships with high-quality men instead of chads? spares her the mental anguish and of course men the frustration/anger. if women, the deciders, were wise enough to implement this, the prisoners dilemma would be solved for both sides with the optimal outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 09:42 PM

not virtue signaling, but most do it to feel good about themselves. This makes sense given the decline in religion and conservative values (that a woman's empathy and compassion are to be directed towards her family). Without those outlets, they turn to this nonprofit/outreach/liberal stuff. This is generalizing a bit, but I find those social worker types are usually quite insufferable. They're arrogant about their means/education/status, and of course they'd never deign to socialize or date any…

A few links on female preferences for these antisocial, negative traits which are seen as more attractive. Men absolutely don't have the virtues today, but they would if women demanded this of them. Men will supply whatever women demand; they compete in the status hierarchy to win the affection of women. Women's choices and preferences drive male behavior and ultimately shape the direction of the society.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 06:15 AM

what a top woman is is not varied. study after study shows that men universally agree on what women are attractive. male sexual nature is not varied, it is highly uniform in terms of what they prefer.

leave out the beta provider aspect. can we say that women choosing alphas, and choosing to mate with alphas, is bad for society? because alphas don't model any objectively desirable virtues or character traits that society agrees are healthful? Eg, the seven capital virtues of temperance, kindness, humility, patience. There's a reason why societies have always wanted to control female choice, because when left to their own choices they'll choose antisocial dark triad personality traits.

Good qualities would be a nice start. But whatever it is, it isn't much compared to what is expected of men. that's the way it should be! but expectations of women also shouldn't be zero -- the typical girlboss attitude ("I'm worth it / I know my worth" "I don't chase, I attract") is repulsive

it's not at all. i think the real issue is more, what has the woman done to deserve a good man? men have to do a million things, meet all kinds of criteria, to even be considered eligible... and it still might not be enough.
