You are correct in your second point as well. I would support false accusers facing serious consequences if malicious intent can be proved. Seems like a slippery legal area, but I'm not a lawyer.

Look, I'm on your side almost entirely. I just think it's not a good idea to disincentivize victims of sex crimes from reporting those crimes, making it so someone who has been actually victimized has to assess whether they can prove what happened or not before seeking help.

Yeah I remember in the early 2010s when a lot of extreme feminist rhetoric became popular inside of leftist spaces, where I was spending significant time, and I couldn't bring myself to adopt the attitude of the other male leftists around me that easily called themselves male feminists. Coincidentally a lot of those male feminists turned out to be surreptitious predators, and the exact kind of men women should avoid at all costs.

Not the way the left does. We're here in this subreddit because we aren't welcome in feminist spaces. We mostly agree with most feminists on most issues, but we're divided against our selves on gender specific issues. Outliers not withstanding, the right is pretty united on abortion regardless of gender.

I didn't mean to imply it was an A to B cause and effect. Roe was overturned because Trump was able to seat 3 extremely conservative justices, and we got Trump because the Democrat party ran a horribly flawed candidate. All criticism of Hillary Clinton as a candidate was shut down during the primary as sexist. I believe she was literally the only Democrat who could have lost to Trump.

Again, switch the gender, switch out the offending group, change the stereotype, but keep the tone the same and that post is being downvoted if not outright deleted.

It's just offensive and confusing that generalizations are quickly called out except in cases of "men bad". I'm a dog owner and a cis-het white guy. All my animals come from kill shelters and they're all loved and happy and unafraid of people regardless of gender. I'm trying to think of an inoffensive stereotype about another group to contrast and make my point, but that's the thing- they're always pretty offensive regardless of data, unless that group is men.
