Enroll them in therapy, it’s been a game changer for my daughter. She has expressed her concerns with mom’s creepy bf and how she doesn’t like him and he makes her feel uncomfortable.

As someone who played nice it did nothing but string along the hurt and betrayal. Everything from here on out should be looked at like a business deal. She’s playing nice because she wants the work to be done or funded by you. She made these choices and decisions she needs to own them. Start your healing process focus on your kid find a hobby and keep yourself as busy as possible when you don’t have your kid.

Best advice I can give you is give yourself at least a solid year of you and the kids. Grind your ass off gym side hustles and hobbies to take your mind off her. You probably won’t feel any real connection for a long time. I’m going on 5 years and haven’t realky connected with anyone on that level yet. Just focus on the kids and you and everything else will fall into place.

I did the same thing, hardly bad mouthed her or talked bad about her to friends family or anyone. Wanted to be the bigger person and let karma do its thing. Nothing wrong with taking the high road. Let her build her own picture and run her mouth. Just keep doing you and pushing on

This right here, make it extremely clear from the start. Kids come before anything and anyone. If you don’t like it there is the door

This right here, the courts will look at everything and she will try to turn everything against you as being petty or some other bs. Less communication the better, an the sooner you realize you can’t change what happens at her place on her time the better. Just do your best to be the best dad you can to your kid. An try to get as much time/custody as possible.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
