That depends on the individual. Some feminists I've met call Feminism the only fight for equality and they ignore the word egalitarian. I personally call myself Egalitarian.

A personal opinion: I believe the original was just talking about society pressures for women. Not necessarily from men or women specifically. Society can be cruel to both genders. Men do need more recognition.

I don't believe most women think this way...although the thought of censorship bothers me more than anything else. Edit: Not sure why I'm being downvoted. Is it because I believe most women aren't like this?

I've heard horror stories of men getting raped while they're drunk by other women, and when he went to tell his friends about it, they cheered him on. It's basically the mindset I'm trying to break here, as it was displayed by my boyfriend when I was explaining that tidbit of my story. "That never happens to men" and "Wouldn't he just enjoy it unless if she was fat and ugly?".
